When Demon Child Become Human

When Demon Child Become Human
␑| Spare Time II

I don't know why I felt so bad when we started walking through the library. Professor Kaidan is still active with the phone in his grasp near his ear, while I'm busy carrying the Gear Department's black toolbox.

I exhaled a deep breath, climbing each step of the stairs towards the balcony upstairs. But when it arrived .. crowded, many disciples swarmed.

Ah, I'm in big trouble.

"What are you guys doing here for?" said firmly Professor Kaidan took all attention. The phone also lowered.

"Sir! It looks like there's an intruder in the academy!"

"What if it's a hybrid?"

"Huh? Isn't our school's security high?"

"Hem, when the reptile dared to enter the lion's den?!"

"But the damage is no joke!"

H-ah, they're so crowded and so cozy.

"Father came to deal with this, off limit, please go. Especially you! Club Liberty will be sparing at noon, why are you still here?!" he pointed at one of the crowd of students.

They immediately panicked and left the location, leaving me with Professor Kaidan on a large balcony. He breathed and rubbed his forehead. I think I made him dizzy. Actually, do not want to trouble him .. ah, guilt back enveloped.

With a slight bow, I said softly, "Sorry, trouble you again."

Immediately felt a soft pat on the head. I also looked into his dark brown eyes. "Father is free until noon, after which you have to supervise the sparing activities. I told you, you are not a hassle. I'm glad to be with you."

Hearing that, I blushed a little. Suddenly I shook my head and began to prepare for fixing the place. He heard her chuckle when he saw my gurgle, a little embarrassed but one side.

Waitaminute! You should never feel relieved that bigger problems are coming.

Fate, standing in the corner with one of his hands touching his chin. Since when is he here?

"Fate, why .... here?" my many.

He turned his head and replied, "Because I'm a member of the Department of Discipline and yesterday I left here. This ... is quite suspicious. My job is to deal with troubled people, damaging property is a big mistake. I know it's somebody's doing, just one guy."

He began to step up and pointed at the incision on the wall. "These were quite large, certainly produced by the sword, there were no other signs such as explosions or recesses due to the gun. Judging from this container, the direction of the attack was only one and it was towards the balcony guardrail."

Now those bluish silver eyes were staring at Professor Kaidan. "Academy security is very strict like the state military, especially the main gate near the Department of Execution building. Thieves, hybrids, or other criminals are unlikely to get in. My speculation is that this is one of the students. And yesterday, why did it feel so vague ...."

"Eeem, that's .. because of me." I paused for a moment, tried to think for a moment and continued to say, "Remember yesterday we were talking about swords? And I decided to take the sword again."

Of course the answer provoked the flat gaze of the girl towards me. Somehow it felt a gripping air from him, immediately frozen creeping back even fur I sat slowly standing up.

"Not a big deal." The bluish silver eye reflex looked at Professor Kaidan. "At the same time it was an accident and Red wants to take responsibility for what he did."

"Accident?" Instantly Fate looked back at me, that gaze as if asking for an explanation.

"Ah, sa-me, time yesterday--aaaa, back holding the sword but a little accident happened."

"Ho? The accident? You know the academy has CCTV and I can check it myself?" reply Fate with slightly elevated vocals.

A puff of tired breath flashed then, before long the only old man here said, "Red's power control is very low. Maybe first holding a new weapon, he can't handle it. He wants to take responsibility and this case has been taken care of, no need to bother to play CCTV records."

I'm sorry, Fate.

But--heeee, why now is he also helping to fix this place? Professor Kaidan has helped me too much. This is not a big thing. But explaining anything to them, it didn't work; still insisting on helping.

Could they be worried? It makes me remember what happened yesterday. When something happens to us, our loved ones feel hurt.

Silence is also soaring. We began to get busy with our respective activities, sweeping the floor; putting aside broken flower pots; tidying up the place. Even to use the dragonic power each with a tool from the Gear Department to make things the way they were.

Quite quickly it turned out, everything was finished not until thirty minutes.

Silence broke out when Professor Kaidan started asking, "Red, aren't you unwilling to use the sword? Has he changed his mind now?"

I was silent, choosing to sit leaning against the wall and look at the sky.

A few moments later he replied, "A sword is one of the things I fear the most. In the past, strength emerged from the heart .. it changed shape, and became a sword. But every time I hold it, I always lose my mind. Until one day, the person I really loved was lost in my own hands. From then on, I drowned in the darkness and became a monster."

I can't believe I told him that. Embarrassing, he must have refused to see me. I subconsciously wanted to cover my face with my right hand but someone held it in, my reflexes turned.

Professor Kaidan looked at me with a sad look. Those brown eyes .. the binaries were exactly the same as when he first saw me.

"Red, you understand what it's like to lose," he said softly in heavy intonation, even with a firm hand touching my cheek, "and you're not a monster."

My eyes opened wide but threw away my face later. I don't know why I didn't take it a little for what he said. What I have done is clearly not categorized as human actions.

"You really ... reminded Father."

Suddenly Professor Kaidan hugged me. What the hell's going on? I wanted to look at him but he had already buried his face into my shoulder. "Father is the only child with dragonic powers in the village. When you get that power, you get out of control and lose everything."

He took off his arms and held my shoulder. "Is Father like a monster in your eyes?"

This time I was really surprised, mute as a speaker. But can not be separated to look at the dark brown eyes in front. The light, it's so soothing.

"Red, there's regret. But the only way to pay for your actions is to learn from your mistakes. The past may be hard, but we have to accept it. With your regrets, make sure it doesn't happen again." He started to brush my black hair. "Learning from mistakes. If you lose your goal, make a new one. So that those who are gone may still smile at our change."

I knew; I realized that his return was impossible. I guess this lie-filled heart was already broken on the evidence of an existence being rejected, as if standing in the middle of a crowd but all felt empty. But now, feeling a sense of hope; a warmth. I'm afraid I'm losing this again. No, I'm ....

"... Afraid of events that once again repeated," I said in a clear bitter. Tried with all his might to suppress the soul that started to subdue.

I tried to clench my collar but felt my hand start to touch; soft skin grabbed me. I glanced and there Fate looked at me with her usual gaze.

"The future is uncertain. But because of that uncertainty, we can make new and more cautious paths. If we keep looking back, then we will escape the real danger. It never hurts to learn .. even if it's very slow."

The girl's gentle intonation is soothing.

"Humans are indeed the source of wrong, and do not escape from mistakes. Because of the past, we can face the future. Not drowning in the past. And you, are not alone."

Instantly my heart trembled. I thought there was nothing left for me. Sadness envelops, turning before long into a dearest wish. I was quite frightened as well as continuing to curse fate; passing over charming emotions but that is not what you - my loved ones - are expecting right?

Things in my life began to change because with your hope; your sacrifice, I am here now. Filled with philanthropy and compassion.

I didn't expect .. would be treated as gently as this.

The tears flowed again without excuse.
