When Demon Child Become Human

When Demon Child Become Human

Unable to sleep, tonight I decided to make improvements to the Heart Core.

After completing the Grade B mission, I obtained an additional reward in the form of an elemental stone.

Here I am now, sitting at the study table accompanied by many blue holography screens.

Heart Core floated steadily in the middle of the table. I brought one elemental stone closer and my Heart Core instantly resonated. Instantly, the elemental stone melted into light fragments and absorbed into the Heart Core.

I leaned against the bench. I looked at the one-on-one screen in front.

One screen shows Pheonix's My-Mount motor; one displays Floating Hourglass details; one shows status; one spells out the average identity with question marks; one lists missions.

I closed my mouth with my right hand and weighed what part I needed to optimize. Maybe it can be weapon optimization only.

I also touched one of the screens in Floating Hourglass and stretched the fingers in front of it. The screen popped up and stretched out in front of me.

My fingers began to unceasingly press down on the holography screen to make arrangements on the weapon. Then the screen displayed a complicated illustration that I understood.

Bar after bar popped up inside the screen and I made deeper arrangements to finish.

Then, I pressed the back button. The screen immediately showed the homepage.

There are four other types of weapons; three are still shaded black and one has a color, namely Floating Hourglass. Because only the Soul Dancer Class I use.

It can actually open another class. However, when opening a Class it is necessary to pay some money for the handling and upgrading costs of the Heart Core.

The other three classes available are Gunner with Twin Gun weapons; Executioner with Dual Dagger chain at the bottom of the hilt connecting to each other; Swordmaster with his two swords, Sabel and Zweihande.

It reminds me of when I first took the test to enter Vaughan.

That time ....

...****************...

The first time I was conscious, it felt .. glare.

The light was so bright that I narrowed my eyes and slightly lowered my head in order to grab focus.

Not knowing where and what was going on, I decided not to move much.

What I saw first was a brown-haired man with eyes of the same color - Professor Kaidan.

"... Found him after General Tiamat's investigation."

I faintly heard their chatter and my gaze began to focus.

It turned out that I was in a strange room, right under the holography of the world surrounded by three round holography. And I woke up on top .. neon bed? A scanner? It's okay it's.

This is so unfamiliar to me.

A pair of blood-red eyes looked at me cynically. I don't know why I felt a threat and looked back at him.

"When the portal to the Tiamat hiding dimension closed, we concluded that it had escaped. We also found him. It could have been Pawn's victim, what else with that aura. There are no signs of change yet, we can neutralize it" explained the brown-haired man.

"It can't be neutralized, even I doubt he's human. Plus he's not in our data center. EVE is unlikely to leave one person on earth not listed in the database. As long as it's not a dragon, it's okay."

Hearing that I tried to sit and look at them.

One mature brown-skinned man-Kaidan-and one man who looks so serious the owner of long black hair is tied low. His red diamond-like eyes were incessantly watching me. Probably realizing I heard their conversation, now they're getting closer.

"What's your name?" ask the red-eyed man who looks so serious.

I was silent about this question, because I had no name.

Finally decided to keep quiet and bow.

I don't know why it ended like this.

The whispering voice of the brown-haired man rang out, "Maybe he lost his memory."

"No, I've been very memorized from birth to now. I don't have a name" I said.

I started looking around. This space was decorated holography and metallic, there were even some surveillance screens.

For sure, this is not where I come from.

"Where is this?"

"Vaughan Academy. Can you explain what you are?" asked the black-haired man whose red eyes were incessantly observing my entire body.

For now I can't tell him that I'm the son of the devil. I was afraid of being judged differently, not knowing them at all.

"No.. know. I was just born."

"We're gonna do a re-scan."

The serious man touched his chin for a moment; looked at me deeply; stepped slightly closer to me and snapped a finger.

Instantly a transparent blue girl figure appeared near us. The serious man said, "EVE, do a re-scan."

Instantly came small balls around me. Moments later a large holographic screen appeared in front of all of us. Many ... data? it's stamped in there.

...{Scanning Result...

I tilted my head to look at it, what was it? First time seeing amazing things like this.

I unceasingly looked to and fro; trying to look around.

"It feels so foreign?" I was stunned to hear it, moreover those red eyes still looked at me sharply. "Especially for a thousand-year-old human being."

My eyes suddenly widened; surprised.

Not just me, that brunette guy too. However, he let out a small laugh looking at my expression and that of his friend.

"You're surprised, Kaidan? Just shoot the heart."

Shoot it? What the--

Dor's!

Uh!

Cold back creeping. The nerve pain sends amazing pain throughout the body, but seconds later it feels frozen.

The body also collapsed. I completely lost my breath.

I could feel my eyes fade. The scorching gaze was filled with faint red.

It hurts, but still I want to live, because as soon as I remember, he last sacrificed himself so that I could continue to live a second life.

Ah, yes, right.

He wants me to live.

A long time passed until I felt my heartbeat return.

I blinked my eyes until I could see around a bit. In the buzzing ears and choking esophagus, I still hear them talking.

"Haha! You really shot him?"

"He-heeh, Lucian! Said shoot?! I'm just doing the ...."

"No, I didn't even seriously say it. After all, he's conscious."

I'm trying to get up-ah, not yet.

My body collapsed again, but I vaguely saw a worried person running over to me before the darkness ripped my consciousness back.
