When Demon Child Become Human

When Demon Child Become Human
␑| Farewell

"Anger ... This world?" Instantly my body slumped from the wall because of the force like being pulled by force. "So, am I really not welcome here?"

"Eternity." And her bright blue eyes glanced at me. "Your immortality is hated by the soul of the earth throughout the universe. Because immortality disrupts the cycle of life and death, it disturbs the balance, and becomes a threat to the existence of the earth itself."

Hearing that, it made me instantly understand that the alien figure who used Fate's body and spoke to me to question immortality, was the ruling entity over this world; the existence that resembled God, the one that was, but it would never be able to resemble His-Godly Being. In the past, I also felt my strength slowly fade away when it became a substitute soul for the earth I came from because of the existence of an immortal being.

But how do we handle eternity itself? Could it be related to my soul being cleansed slowly?

Then she turned her attention to him again and said, "I feel .. My soul is much lighter than before. Yet my soul is so unstable and so vulnerable that it absorbs the seven deadly sins and makes me immortal. Is this what Fate did, giving me the grace to cleanse and stabilize my soul? Because matters relating to life are beyond human affairs."

Sen shook his head when he heard my words. "Aren't you listening to me right? I told you, he protected you from the wrath of this world, that grace also stabilized your aged soul with that body. But for your soul, maybe it's the power Fate has always had. He can clean and purify whatever stains are around him."

Then the sky blue eyes looked up into the sky, where endless snowflakes were falling as if recalling something deep.

"When the stability of the world is disturbed, he will purify the things that destroy stability. In our home world, it is the seventh duty of the container of sin and the seventh container of virtue. But because the truth has been corrupted by the C.R.O.S.S.; an organization that hunts down men who are the containers of sin in our world, finally Balancer; a human who somehow possessed the power of purification appeared to stabilize the world."

Then those blue eyes were on me. "Balancer's task is a hereditary one. And the last person to have that task is Fate ... Fate A's. V. Lancelot, Balancer, the counterweight to the world."

It turns out that, Fate is indeed not an ordinary-waiting human, I am too right? It seems like the seventh container of sin and virtue exists naturally in the place where Fate and Sen came from, not being forced to exist as in my world in order to create an entreaty-fulfilling entity.

Is my soul no longer immortal? Because Fate's existence naturally neutralizes me. So why am I being like this now? Creatures are immortal but simultaneously not. What is the condition now ....

"Then what did Fate sacrifice to protect me?"

Sen was silent for a moment to close his eyes, when it opened. "Metatron Award."

"From ... Lord Metatron?"

His hand slowly gripped the shirt right on his chest. "I am the original owner of the Metatron Awards. Because of one incident I gave that gift, with Metatron's permission, to Fate to balance his body and soul. And to protect her from the soul of our world, Gaia. This is not known to Fate, therefore he does not know about Metatron residing in him."

Sen folded his hands in front of his chest. "Your soul is almost completely purified, but in the end Fate still needs permission from the owner of the soul to fully purify the soul. Therefore he asked ... 'if you could choose not to be immortal, how?' and you remind me, what's your answer?"

My eyes instantly widened, recalling my answer at that moment. "I said 'would stay like this' because of my fear of uncertainty .. I chose to remain immortal."

Sen also nodded. "really. The moment you give your answer, you should be dead. This world doesn't want to give you a third chance when you're wasting a second chance. But at that very moment, Fate, said a prayer ...."

"Pray?"

"... So you're given another chance. So that you can slowly see eternity is not the answer. The gift of Metatron in him answered that prayer and moved into you. This he did unconsciously but because of his strong will, you were helped."

Then Sen shook his head while chuckling as if he could not believe what was happening.

So, Fate was protecting me-waiting, it felt like something wasn't right. "Why does your world soul want to attack Fate? Given his duty .. isn't that, weird?"

Sontak Sen smiled bitterly. "Because Gaia, the soul of our world, loves Fate so much. Of all the Balancers that have ever existed, Fate is very different."

Then he took a long breath. "Gaia wants Fate to return to her home world, but if Fate returns. Because he will live for the happiness of the earth itself, not for himself."

Then his hand lifted and slowly gripped the hair, Sen's expression seemed to hold the pain. "He will be a pillar for the earth. To that end, it needs to be completely neutral and in order to keep it neutral, Gaia will erase all her memories and emotions. Like an empty canvas."

His blue eyes re-carved a sad expression. "Gaia wanted to erase Fate's painful memory because she thought it was a concept of happiness; without any bad memory at all, but it would have wiped out her humanity as well. Although this is selfish .. I cannot allow Fate who has sacrificed so much, even her own life, to live such a life."

Instantly I stood up because the sentence opened my mind. "Is that the cause of Fate's memory now something vague?"

However, the answer I heard afterwards was shocking.

"No. The one who sealed Fate's memories, was me."

"Why?" Again, I carved a very incredulous expression.

"Because Fate needs a reason." Then he turned his gaze to the girl who was still unconscious. "For him who has lost almost everything; for him who has always wanted to seek the truth, I sealed his memory so that Fate has the urge to go on ...."

Sen's voice swallowed, and even a sad smile resignedly adorned his face again. "... Especially after everything that happened to her."

Ah, true.

From what I've seen all this time, Fate. If his memory had been there from the beginning, perhaps Fate would not have wanted to keep moving forward because he needed something to hold onto; a goal to keep him going. What else I know is that the various things he's been through are very heavy, ending up forming a personality that's mature and too old for a girl his age.

Fate wants someone to need it.

Perhaps by arriving at Vaughan, he did have a new purpose, such as helping them eradicate the dragons. However, if the task had been completed and the entire dragon was wiped out, perhaps Fate again lost its way.

I feel alive to be used by others seems sad.

But having known him, I now understand, sometimes we also need someone always on the side; sharing our feelings with him who has lost most of his emotions, in order to wake up ... that is truly alive; existing, with an existence that is truly considered real.

Otherwise, perhaps Fate ends up dark-eyed and following Gaia's incitement that could give her a reason to exist, despite ending up being a puppet of a fake paradise.

Sen, understand and understand Fate deeply to take into account things so far. Their love is absolutely absolute. And I am .. a real pest in their midst.
