Just a little break

Just a little break
Heart Ordeal

”I have been betrothed to San, and I myself received the matchmaking,” said Aisyah with tears being shed.

Amidst the sound of the rain growing increasingly heavy with his harmonious stubs. The whirling of a voice that never once made a dreamer wake up from his sleep. But even more want to sleep dream.

Aisyah also chanted her grievance to Ahsan. But what power, in a few moments Ahsan just fell silent. As if not shaken in the slightest by Aisyah's cries and speech. He was silent and glued.

Confused what to do? But if Aisyah also catches it. In his deepest heart he also ventured to ‘merebut’ Aisyah. Ahsan took a deep breath, his heart racing.

Streams of his blood rushed to every side in his body. He sincerely wanted to voice this from the bottom of his heart, which he had been quieting all along.

“Close with me,” Ahsan said then in their silence.

Aisyah straightened her face, and spontaneously looked at Ahsan who was right next to her.

“You're not sure you're happy with your parents' choice. If you don't love him. Then come with me,” Ahsan continued. Convince Aisyah.

“But what about my parents, San?” ask Aisyah, Iirih.

“Our parents are also human. They can be wrong too. They cannot give us complete happiness,” Ahsan replied.

Aisyah bowed silently, permeating every utterance of Ahsan who invited her to turn away from the matchmaking that her parents had made.

“Sometimes we have to find and choose our own happiness,” Ahsan added.

Silence enveloped them again. Any doubt? Maybe not, but they are both thinking mature, choosing and seizing their own happiness. Trying to convince yourself to dare to seize that happiness.

“Take your happiness too, Aisyah” Ahsan said later.

“Come with me and I promise to always make you happy,” Ahsan continued.

Maya is still in the middle. Until Ahsan took the initiative. To hold his shoulder and wake him from a slump. He slowly turned Aisyah's body, looking at her with admiration.

He touched Aisyah's chin, straightened her head. With trembling hands and gently reddened eyes she wiped away the tears that drenched Aisyah's cheeks. Although he did not know which one was sure of the tears or rain that had soaked their meeting.

Aisyah could not resist the turmoil in her chest. She immediately hugged Ahsan tightly and begged to take him away wherever he wanted to go. He had witnessed enough grief and did not want to repeat the mistake of attempting a second suicide. He wants to be happy, laugh and love again.

“I promise two weeks from now, I will meet your parents, and make that day the last day you lost in the fight against loneliness and sadness,” Ahsan said.

Aisyah hugged Ahsan even more tightly, and Ahsan gently stroked Aisyah's hair in the arms of a loved one.

A few days later, they lived their lives like lovers. But there is something inside them. Aisyah felt bad for her parents for lying to her promise.

As for Ahsan, he was more agitated. It was not because of the problem of wanting to meet and talk to Aisyah's parents or talk to her parents. But, he was restless as the shadow of the past he wanted to eliminate came back.

Marginalised. Within five days, he came back. But not this time with a million charms. But with the sorrowful cries of regret that he brought. They accidentally meet in a mall when Ahsan is about to buy a novel.

First time seeing. Ahsan did not realize that it was Nabila, until he himself reprimanded Ahsan first. Ahsan sees some significant changes from Nabila, but not in a positive direction like him.

For now. Ahsan did not want to take a dizzy look at such a thing. Because he felt that Nabila was none of his business. But who would have thought, he gave Ahsan his new phone number.

From the brief meeting continued on the vent every night Nabila to Ahsan about her husband, the peak of which she invited Ahsan to meet at a dinner house on Friday night’at after work.

At first Ahsan refused, but because Nabila pleaded with him. Ahsan also collapsed and confirmed their meeting.

“You're okay, right?” ask Ahsan.

Slowly breaking the awkward atmosphere for ten minutes. Nabila raised her head, nodding slowly in response to Ahsan's question. Ahsan laughed awkwardly at that response.

Then stay a moment. It was in his heart that he said that this would be a bad night. Tonight the full moon hangs round in space, making the ocean a high tide. Near the restaurant where they met.

The sound of waves crashing into the coral down there rhymed. The seafood restaurant located near the beach is not crowded. There are only four or six visitors who bring their families and spouses to dinner here.

Maybe because it's not the holiday season, so quiet. But what makes it even more quiet is this conversation. They sat face to face at the table. Staring at the blanket of the dark sky of the ocean.

Jemari Nabila looks a little shaky playing a spoon and fork. Since then he just kept quiet with a face that was always down. Ahsan is not looking at the Nabila he knew in the past.

Nabila who is always busy ordering food, and eating Ahsan dishes first if they are eating together outside. This time there was no more of that, this time it was completely different.

“I'm sorry,” Nabila bit her lip and then bowed again.

Ahsan looked at him with an awkward smile.

“Nothing to forgive. Everything has happened and lagged far behind,” Ahsan replied.

Pretend to be calm and answer wisely. But in his heart he was also confused as to what to do. Silence for a moment. More silence hangs in the sky of this seafood restaurant.

Nabila came wearing a blue dress and a white scarf. His eyes were puffy, so it covered his cherry face. For nearly half an hour, she held back more sobs and wiped the edges of her eyes with the pink handkerchief she was carrying.

He told me a lot of things that happened after he got married. Ahsan just kept quiet. In the past every time Nabila was sad, he must have immediately rushed to comfort him, funny, giving words of motivation in front of him.

In fact, until willing to lower his pride in front of the crowd just to see Nabila back laughing. But this time Ahsan was silent, confused about what he should do.

This conversation really does make a lot of things. Especially these two hearts. Ahsan took a slow breath. Start asking in your heart slowly. Trying to think healthy with what Nabila just told me.

In the story, he held back more tears. Ahsan just kept watching. Sometimes staring blankly into the night sky, then quietly listening. Her dazzling and lavish marriage to the man failed.

Behold, a creature as beautiful and beautiful as Nabila was persecuted and thrown away. That's according to his confession. What really happened, Ahsan did not really understand and what to do, Ahsan also did not understand?

Six more months passed just struggling to remember him, hear and kick songs heartbroken. Reading heartbroken books. Life is hard until he wants to end it. After struggling to get out of that predicament, then managed to find the right woman.

Get rid of all the memories of him. Nabila came back. Calling with a restrained crying voice. Ask to meet tonight and talk.

“Do you still love me? If so, take me away with you,” said Nabila pleading.

Ahsan lowered his gaze, asking softly inwardly to his Lord, “Yaa Allah is this what is called a trial of the heart?”
