Just a little break

Just a little break
Love ?? (Part 2)

The story continues. Still on the same night. Same event and same place. A male servant, in a neat uniform in a black suit and a butterfly tie. Bending down offers a glass of drink on Safa. He smiled and accepted her politely and kindly.

The aroma of this drink is very appetizing. But unfortunately, not until his lips touch the glass. A young man who was in a hurry passed by passed by in front of him. Hips wide, accidentally nudging the delicate and tiny hands of Safa.

Safa exclaimed in shock. The glass held by his hand slipped, and fell to the floor. A messy break soaks the floor made of marble. Also about her beautiful white dress.

That hurried young man, let alone apologize. Even more hurriedly go away from the curious gaze of the people around it. He seemed to be in a hurry to get something out, whether it was small water or large water.

Lay Safa stunned and glued. Blushing his face not knowing what to do. Her delicate and tiny hands stretched down, about to feel, to pick up the fragments of the glass.

Suddenly there was the hand of another young man who first touched his fingertips with warmth and tenderness. He said, “Here I help. Just a glass, no need to worry too much.”

The voice was extremely resolute but filled with gentleness and politeness. The sound came like the wind of heaven. Disperse the shame and anxiety of Safa, will the glass break earlier. Then make him think back to his childhood. Safa found out the origin of the sound.

“You know what can make Prophet Muhammad S.A.W strong undergo trials and insults from his people?” ask the young man.

Safa in the middle of her slackness nodded slowly. He was astonished that these words had been spoken when he was with Marwa and his grandfather. Why did this young man know? He could feel the breath of the young man falling into his hands. Make his hands feel warm, and automatically make the face of Safa meet red.

“You know what it is?” ask again.

Safa did not know what to do, whether she nodded or not, all she knew for sure was. Suddenly his heart seemed to be dragged into a whirlpool of feelings that he really did not understand and only the first time he experienced.

When the young man gently and attentively cleaned Safa's fingertips with a handkerchief. He felt the whole universe and its contents, greeting and smiling at him.

Time seems to stop. Then a bright beam of light whose gentle calming radiance appeared shook his heart and feelings. He felt suddenly very comfortable.

It was like moving to a comfortable place that had been in his dreams. He felt like he was in a green meadow and full of flowers. Everyone around him suddenly disappeared.

All the furniture and objects were thrown away. There were some beautiful hills and tree houses that suddenly appeared. Accompanied by birdsong and the soothing sound of river water. He saw himself and a young man looking at each other and holding hands.

Safa always believed in her grandfather's beautiful words about love. As a child, every morning and evening. When he watered the plants under the window of his room. Safa always looked up at the sky. Looking at the blue clouds while whispering softly to the wind.

If he longs to meet his true love, and will never give up waiting for him. And today, after so long. His wait finally came to fruition. He just came without ever expecting it before.

The young man helped Safa sit back to her place. Waving a hand called for the waiter to help clean up the broken glass scattered on the floor. His white handkerchief, he used again to clean Safa's white dress.

“Ahh, let it go. No need to bother. I can clean it myself,” Safa said.

“It's okay. I'm happy to help a beautiful girl like you,” the young man replied.

Safa was amazed and fascinated again with tenderness and attention, and the words of the young man. Her heart beat erratically, feeling the young man's warm hand touch her white dress. His body trembled and muttered inwardly, “Grandfather I found my love.”

He gave his heart to her. He's in love with her. At first glance, through his tenderness and concern. A young man who stole his heart. Because he himself let his heart be stolen by her.

Safa said ‘iya’. He who has allowed the shadow of the young man to enter just like that into his heart and mind. He had followed the song and dance that the young man had addressed to him. Without the slightest hint of the young man forcibly seizing his will.

The young man never forced him. He was left to choose according to his heart and clear mind. Because in love there is no compulsion, there is only a sacred bond. In God in marriage. Now he had found her after a long time waiting for her. I gave my heart to you and I fell in love with you.

After that little commotion was well resolved. The young man invited Safa to dance together for two or three rounds of short movements. Suppose he could describe his feelings at the time. The world seems to belong to both of them.

When she was about to return to her seat, Safa blushed in embarrassment because she was again led by the young man. Then he was startled by the voice of a call from his sister, Marwa. “Ammar, Ammar. Are you that?”

Marwa came in a wheelchair. Assisted by one of his grandfather's loyal servants. The voice of Marwa, her sister whom she once loved dearly. Now it seems to turn into a symbol that slices his feelings.

“Ohh, have you met and known each other?” ask again.

“But baby. More precisely, just a coincidence to meet,” said the young man.

“Ohh then, alright. Kak Safa, introduce. This is Ammar, my girlfriend whom I told my sister briefly. In Shay Allah next week I will be engaged to him,” Marwa said.

In an instant Safa felt very miserable. Safa was crying in silence. He seemed to be left alone in an empty space that was pitch black. He felt that his presence in this room, even in this world, was nothing, meaningless.

Safa groaned in the middle of this crowd. Feeling all the love stories he heard from his grandfather were all wrong. Only one thing is right. Love does not need eyes to see.

Safa sat stupefied and silent in her place. Died away by the young man and Marwa who seemed to walk together. In sadness and silence, slowly tears flowed. He wiped both his eyes. Eyes that have no cornea or black spots in both eyeballs. Safa was blind.
