Once upon a time, there lived an orphan with his mother. His name was Yahya and he was a cripple. His right leg did not grow perfectly. Until he walks next door.. As for his mother, he was very old and sick.
However, Yahya was not a lazy child. Since his father died five years ago. He is the one who provides for himself and his mother. He did what he could to survive.
Incidentally in his village there is a large lake with lots of fish. He supplied himself and his mother with fishing. In the morning he woke up and worshiped his Lord.
After that he looked for worms or other types of insects for a ride. After searching for worms, he searched for firewood for cooking fuel. After searching for worms and looking for firewood. He prepared breakfast and lunch for his mother.
Home business is done, he goes fishing. As a result of his fishing, he used to eat everyday. If it can be a lot, there is something he sells also to the market.
On that day, he went fishing to the lake where he used to fish. Today the weather was cloudy, but he still left with a makeshift fishing rod, made by his hand. From the pliable bamboo tree trunk and the hook thread he bought cheaply.
Arriving at the lake. Tumben once no one has gone fishing, because the weather is cloudy today. Yahya did not take a headache finally he put up a bait, threw a hook and then waited for the bait to be struck by a fish.
Long enough he waited, until he was cursed. Until the day was getting late, and the sky was getting cloudy, but not a single fish grabbed it. He took a break to pray. Then re-examine the bait, throw it into the lake and wait patiently.
Not long after that there was a lot of horse-shaking. Not far from where he was fishing. He looked at the attributes that one of the newly arrived people had worn earlier, such as the royal palace officials. He's a big-bodied, big-bellied office. In the damping of two guards. What's he gonna be here for?
It turned out that he also wanted to eliminate his sense of affection towards palace work. He chose to fish in this lake. The equipment brought for fishing is very complete and modern. Afraid of not being happy Yahya?
Actuallyno. Yahya believes the sustenance is regulated by Allah Ta’ala. We as humans are only tasked with trying. Although a little originally intended for Allah, it certainly can be sustenance and blessing as well.
The official mocked him. But instead was reprimanded by two of his bodyguards. His two bodyguards were outraged and he promised to cut their salaries in half this month.
Time is rolling. Other than the two of them, no one was fishing anymore in this lake. The weather was also cloudy, began to fall spatter. The official was upset why he had not caught any fish. Different from Yahya.
The bait was struck by a large fish. What a wonderful sustenance for him. He was going home. Want to cook this fish for dinner and tomorrow morning. Even if there is still leftover, fresh meat he wants to sell in the market.
But unfortunate for Yahya. The fish caught, snatched by the official. Not just the fish. Even the official told his bodyguard to beat him to a pulp.
Yahya whimpered in pain and said, “Master have mercy on me. I'm an orphan. In my house there is my old mother waiting for me to bring fish today,” he said.
But the official did not listen to his groan. The officer went home and left him alone by the lake. The officer came home with his booty. Cook it and eat it yourself, for this official has not had a family.
He hurriedly finished his meal and treated his wound. After that he fell asleep, hoping that tomorrow morning the wound and pain on his finger will heal quickly.
Early in the morning, the official woke up from his sleep in a crisp body. Not fresh after sleeping. It's like someone got beaten up. To his surprise, the wound on his finger caused a small gaping hole.
He treated the wound. He went to the doctor and got medicine. The drug he smeared in the wound every time he fell asleep. But the wound did not heal either. Even this time there were small caterpillars that gnawed at his finger.
He could not stand it, lost his patience and cut his finger. But the little caterpillars did not stop there. They started to gnaw at his wrists. Finally he cut his wrist. Hope the caterpillars stop gnawing at his body.
But, the caterpillars were even more numerous, and were now creeping up to his elbows. He tried to go to the doctor and consult him. Upon examination, the physician suggested that one of these right arms be cut off. So that the caterpillars do not continue to gnaw at his body.
Not playing sad for the royal office. He asked for time to think. Finally he came to Allah, which he had not done for a long time. He ber’a berkeley for his recovery and was given a way out of his problem.
After finished berTO’a. He called two of his guards. Apologizing if all this time he had a lot of wrong words and deeds during being their employer. Two of his guards forgave him.
The guard told him. If he ever dreamed of being visited by an old man in white clothes. In the dream, the grandfather called if his master, must return the rights he had taken to the owner. He will recover from his illness.
The official was stunned. Tears wet his cheeks, he did a terrible deed to a commoner. Plus, he is an orphan who supports his elderly mother.
Without thinking, he and his two bodyguards went to the lake and hoped to see the angler soon. He brought his food and wealth to give to the angler. As a ransom for what he did.
Upon arriving at the lake he saw the angler was putting a ride on his hook. He approached her crying and begging her for forgiveness. Giving food and half of his wealth to the angler.
As a ransom for his tyrannical behavior, and he also pleaded. The fish he had eaten in ikhlaskan to be halal food for him. The angler was a gentle person and lover of Prophet Muhammad Shallalhu Alaihi Wassalam.
He followed the behavior of the Prophet. He forgave the official and cut down the fish he had eaten. It was also immediately by the permission of God. Fall the caterpillars that gnaw on his right arm. Until he recovered from his illness.
This amazed the official, and his two guards. He asked the fisherman, “Really, do’a what do you say to Allah?” tanyanya gently.
The angler simply smiled and replied, “By my pain yesterday I’a to Allah, complaining to Him. Why am I made a weak man powerless, while you are strong. I ask for justice from God. If I can't defeat you then there will be another creature of God who will defeat you!” said it.
