The Demon Swordsman 2

The Demon Swordsman 2
Ch. 58 - An Unnamed Tomb

Being busy counting the money he was startled by Wei Feng's shout, "Aaaa! Little Devil, help me!" wei Feng's voice made the insects flee in fear.

Xin Chen put on a face like he wanted to complain, "So the Sprouts are now a Little Devil. I wonder, actually is there something wrong with the brains of people from the Wei Empire?"

Satisfied to babble and no one listened, Xin Chen approached Wei Feng. Curious about what was bothering him until just now.

"What's wrong?" After shortening the distance Wei Feng finally turned to Xin Chen, his hand preparing to release an arrow if at any time a demon appeared from in front of him.

"There's something behind that tree! You see, he's terrible!"

Intrigued by the figure Wei Feng was referring to finally Xin Chen decided to get close, opened the bushes near the tree and was a little surprised afterwards.

"Hey... What the fuck? A slow?"

Wei Feng's arrow descended slowly as it caught up with Xin Chen, finding a slow lambs with wide eyes twinkle inside the bush.

"It's funny... I wish I could take it home!" wei Feng exclaimed, the light on the eyesball The slow loris shone brightly as he watched her besides the slow moving loris. They showed no signs of endangering their lives.

Meanwhile the afternoon sky began to be closed by the night clouds, in a short time around they began to darken. Wei Feng was still stunned by the slow-witted child, intending to bring him home he removed the wild leaves and was about to carry him home.

"Hold it!" Xin Chen held back his chest, right before Wei Feng's hand touched the small slow loris that his mother had come at an unexpected speed, flashed right in front of Wei Feng's face to the point of having her cheek scratched by a sharp claw.

Wei Feng regained his senses and immediately looked around him, red-lighted spies lurking behind the dark forests. "Dam... I've heard that at night, a forest like this is like a cemetery. Do you think we'll continue tomorrow?"

"Do you really think we can leave this forest before we beat them all?"

A sloth that was quite large in size came crashing down, making several broken tree branches fall on Wei Feng and Xin Chen. Luckily they noticed it and quickly moved on.

Meanwhile Wei Feng felt this fight would not be balanced, because in this all-dark and low-light situation his aiming ability would decrease drastically.

"This weird guy... How could they run so fast? And... Arrghh take off my legs!" Instantly the man was shocked when he saw the young loris instead chew his legs, like a pest mouse.

"It's not cute anymore! Let go of me Bad lorises!"

"Hahahaha feel that! You see, appearances do lie to you a lot."

One by one the slow lorises came out, the roar of their coarse breaths sounded heavy. Some are male sloths manifest themselves with large body size, pointy feathers as well as sharp teeth fangs. Scratched just a little skin will be directly torn by the fur.

"I'm sure this slow loris mutated, ah, in the Wei Empire as well as this kind of incident I've seen so many times. Countless mad scientists were born in san–" Wei Feng rounded his eyes as a claw flashed just above his head, plunging sharply down inexorably.

"Thunder Sword!"

A flash of lightning flashed, repelling the attack of the male slow loris.

Although not killing directly at least the Lightning Sword was enough to just make the slow loris fall, Wei Feng looked up at Xin Chen still in shock.

Wei Feng nodded subconsciously, he circulated a gaze of catching something else. "Little Devil, look, the slow loris slows down when exposed to light!"

"Yes... Good thing, we can finish them off as soon as possible before the others come." Xin Chen pointed his lightning sword at the Stubborn child near Wei Feng, it did look cute moreover with such a big eye twinkle.

"Sir Wei, it seems like she likes you. What if you just take her home?"

"No way!"

***

The next morning Wei Feng and Xin Chen were still busy moving the bodies of the slain slow lorises. Although it is unfortunate to kill this much but if left for a long time will add problems for the villagers.

Life between humans and demons is no longer separable, this has been going on for a very long time. Some of them could even be invited to fight together, but the rest were still very difficult to control.

This group of demons that often harm humans acts on a killing instinct. They are actually cold-blooded predators, because it is not uncommon to hear the news of death due to stealth attacks like this.

"This scent of rotting blood... Must have been hardened blood for years." Wei Feng put away the rocks that blocked his path. While looking around. Fear of attack suddenly coming.

"Yes, maybe I've read the history of this village. The Fighters fought desperately to defend their home from the attacks of the Blood Devil Man, unfortunately they could not last long, their food had been deprived and the plague was transmitted. To gain access outside the village alone was already very unlikely."

"Right, you can feel sadness in this place, right? The spirits in this village seem to be waiting for a vengeance."

"What do you mean by revenge? Isn't their killer dead?"

For a moment only Wei Feng sighed sounding, compared to Xin Chen it seemed that he knew more about this kind of matter. "You know, when you've become a spirit, there's only a small chance you can remember who you are. Some of them do not understand what regrets they still regret so they can not move to nature because of it."

"Then they turn into evil spirits and kill anyone?"

"More or less like that, if you were to enter the Wei Empire, you would find the greatest Spirit Controller in history. Her... Ah, if faced with it maybe I'll just kill myself."

Xin Chen could not imagine the figure of the Spirit Controller. From the image that Wei Feng had said about spirits alone he was sure that the creatures were dangerous. It can be a big threat if left alone. Xin Chen's feet were restrained by a stone, he lowered his head looking at an old tomb.

"Little Devil, put your feet up stupid!"

"D-yes."

The two knelt down, watching the tomb in silence. Wei Feng touched the ground around him. "Maybe... When this village was attacked only the only one of these people was buried."

The nameless tomb was the tomb of an old man, the last person who could still survive the torture of the Blood Devil Man. That day, Xin Fai beheaded him and buried him honorably. A better death than having to die at the hands of the black stream swordsman himself.
