Ch. 264 - War of the Two Fortresses
"Dead you!"
Before the blow could land on the enemy's body, a huge black shadow came out with an unusually fast movement. The wind blew strong to make the trees sound noisy. Two YuanXe men fell face down on the ground, looked back and whispered to each other when they saw that their target had escaped.
Soon they fled leaving Xiu Qiaofeng who was still shocked by what he saw earlier. It was not very clear if what he saw was the shadow of the black dragon but if it was true then his conjecture towards the figure was correct.
"Are you really alive?" the murmur was only heard by himself, if the group representative did not resuscitate him to leave perhaps Xiu Qiaofeng would continue to petrify in his place.`
"We're back again, but it's clear this will be our victory." The representative in the group looked a little sad although he still had a worried face, could not ignore the figure of the spirit user who had made a fuss one YuanXe land that never even acted directly when the hunter came. The other members nodded in understanding, Xiu Qiaofeng brushed through the bush in front of him, glanced back and felt something was amiss.
"Are we not all twenty? Where's one more guy?"
The others exchanged glances and only realized that one of them had disappeared, Xiu Qiaofeng tried to approach and take a close look. He was sure that they were complete before.
"Find him-"
"For what Young Miss is looking for, she's already in front of your eyes."
Xiu Qiaofeng then took out a sword with narrowed eyes of anxiety. A man put on an evil grin and clothes with an open chest, he was not alone but came with a horde of other warriors who were not much different from him. rough and seedy, he was, in contrast to Xiu Qiaofeng's subordinates who came from the Empire so the clothes they wore were much more groomed.
Previously they had faced off against the other hunters, but only a teri class liked to behave arrogantly as if the entire land in the Shang Empire was his.
The representative next to Xiu Qiaofeng then advanced confidently, pointing at the opponent with his sword while speaking firmly.
"Huh? Hahahah funny this old man, hey! The others, laugh too! He's funny, but no one's laughing!" The mockery was immediately accompanied by a mock laughter that seemed contrived, irritating Xiu Qiaofeng's representatives to death.

"Stop your bullshit!" shouted one of Xiu Qiaofeng's men, the girl herself still endured those painful words patiently. For Xiu Juan, calmness is at the core of success. Xiu Qiaofeng always learned it from his figure so that when he grew up he was known for his strategy and maturity in any fight.
But it seemed like the provocation made by the opponent managed to make his side fire a beard, Xiu Qiaofeng could read the anger clearly.
"Miss Xiu! We've stayed here for a month and never lost a single member. I'm sure you can lead like a leader, but don't you think hesitating like this will only make us lose faith in you?" For the last time the representative said, more impressed to denounce. "I hope Miss Xiu listens to my advice, kill them or tomorrow they will finish us all off."
