Ch. 45 - The Story of the Unfortunate Fox
The clattering of Lightning Fox footsteps stopped, staring at Xin Chen who was oblivious to the situation around him. He patted the boy's shoulder.
"That's what you've been needing."
Xin Chen was startled for a few seconds, feeling sparks as well as electric shocks glimpsed before his eyes.
"What's–" his words stopped when he realized the sword in his hand was changing completely. Xin Chen choked on his own breath trying to escape from the weapon that turned so terrifying. His sword is now seen filled with embers and also branched electrical chains. It is very difficult to explain with his common sense.
But when the weapon was released everything returned to its original form.
"Power is purely from you, not the sword. What you have to fear is your own body." The Lightning Fox picked up the sword, seemingly already experiencing a huge rift. He looked at Xin Chen in disbelief but chose not to let out what he was thinking.
The Lightning Fox threw out the sword just like that, making Xin Chen surprised instead of playing. "Don't play games! That teacher is 'to expensive–"
"It's just that if you wear broken things, next time you have to control your power so as not to damage it. Now we have to move on."

This time the Lightning Fox put on a lazy look. "Until you rule the world with that sword that has become ashes?"
An awkward laugh sounded small, Xin Chen's hand shook a few times. "I don't remember ever saying it, Master. So here's..."
The Lightning Fox was waiting for him to finish speaking, it seemed that Xin Chen was already at a loss for words. Still surprised and do not understand how to respond to situations like this. Xin Chen watched closely as he guessed what the Thunder Fox meant by the picture.
While explaining the Lightning Fox pointed its staff towards the navel. "In this world controlling the form of change is very difficult, turning your power into fire or water or lightning is not easy."
"And you're telling me to study it in nonsensical time?" Despite being asked Xin Chen it looked more like he was protesting.
"I'm just testing your resolve, if you were the coward you thought you were, you wouldn't have moved this far. You learn to get out of your own problems without blaming circumstances. If it wasn't for that reason, without that kind of practice I wouldn't have been your teacher for a long time either."
Only until here did Xin Chen understand what the Lightning Fox was training him for inhumane ways. For him to be truly forged mercilessly, like a sword. The sharper the stronger. That was what the Lightning Fox had been applying to him all along.
Xin Chen gave a small nod, understanding what this Thunder Fox said despite being difficult.
"When that power comes out and changes, you can only make it into one kind of change. It is rare that people can use two types of changes at once."
"As I was doing?" Xin Chen guessed.
"really. The power of fire is who you really are, and with that eternal power I believe your body structure has also changed. You might be able to master all kinds of changes in one body."
The Lightning Fox pointed its staff at the chest, "And you can control it all from here."
"From heart?" Xin Chen held his own chest.
"Yes. Strong will and full determination will affect your own strength. You have it in your subconscious without having to train it for decades like many other humans."
Xin Chen began to understand himself, indeed since childhood he had a strong desire to become the second Demon Sword. Long before Xin Zhan showed his abilities and everyone praised his talent.
