The Demon Swordsman 2

The Demon Swordsman 2
Ch. 233 - Formation of Unit One

Bonfires lit up brightly in their midst, large enough that a high fire lit up all over the place. The soldiers chatted in a fraternal atmosphere, they were like returning to the times when young. Descending into the battlefield, sleeping on the ground smelling of blood, the night told of the fight they had just passed proudly.

Bai Huang downed his wine, looking his face better than before. The man mixed in with the soldiers who were almost five heads old. The young are busy eating the roast.

"Our master, he didn't tell me who he really was. But, he's so creepy. I don't know how those four hundred soldiers disappeared. That ... That was terrible. In fact," the old man's words were cut off, already from this morning he and his friends were telling the same thing. About the mystery of where the warriors whose skin even exceeds the thickness of armor. They were four hundred, and within two hours all were gone.

Bai Huang did not respond to the question and listened to the others argue. He simply enjoyed the drink, until one of the men realized something.

"Hey, but ... I feel familiar with this one master, where have I ever seen you?"

"I wanted to say it just now. I guess I'm the only one who feels familiar with her." Connect the other.

"You better not remember," Bai Huang's response began to be interrupted. But they keep guessing.

"Master, aren't you the Third Imperial Pillar?"

They fussed themselves, seeming to be in disbelief with the fact. As the Third Pillar Bai Huang rarely showed his face as it was always in battle clothes. Complete with armor, a sword, and a head protector. Bai Huang gave a faint snort, adding to his wine. While his eyes were fixed elsewhere.

"I'm sorry that day didn't help you, sir. We're silenced. I know this sounds selfish, but we have a family to protect. If we had something strong behind us, that person would not dare to do anything for granted."

"That's why we're here." Lao Zi hovered, joining the circle ranks. No one knew him except Bai Huang, the man chuckled.

"I didn't think he'd take you either."

"Our family owes Mr. Xin a debt of gratitude" he said slowly. Bai Huang already knew the young man, he was simple and also honest. It's just that his kindness is often used by people.

"Understood?"

"I have a sickly mother, when she died Mr. Xin came to mourn. I am nobody in the Empire. Grandpa is gone too. At that time I was only eight or nine years old, orphans left by my mother's father." Lao Zi's story made Bai Huang concerned.

"You don't have a brother?"

"Mommy said, when she was pregnant she had three miscarriages. I managed to survive, but therefore he was killed by mysterious people."

Lao Zi didn't know what to do when she was abandoned by her mother, she didn't cry or scream. One thing his mother asked him at the time was to keep him alive and happy. Lao Zi remembered it while smiling slightly. "Master Xin even cares about a little person like me, it makes me really want to see her back. Everyone wants it back. Except ..." Looking at Lao Zi's eyes slowly pierced to a point, Bai Huang tried to follow his direction and had no idea who Lao Zi meant.

"You have a straight heart." Bai Huang finished the rest of his wine, sighing from his mouth. "We have our own reasons for standing here."

As they were busy with their respective conversations, flutes infiltrated their eardrums. Smooth and faint, someone was sitting on a tree branch that was located far enough away. As the flute paused, the young man walked towards them.

Lan Zhuxian then followed him from behind, until Xin Chen sat in front of them. Look around without saying a word.

They were still too late in the atmosphere of victory, Xin Chen actually did not want to disturb him but he also had a strong reason to say so.

"Four Reconnaissance Units, we've been fighting over their names. For the next few days we will focus on building a new headquarters, do our best. If at any time the imperial people protest our actions, I wouldn't mind being considered a deserter rather than sitting around waiting for our brother to be slaughtered to the end."

They cheerfully agreed, Xin Chen continued. "I've already determined the first ten core members, the unit to one. Blood Moon."

Lan Zhuxian thrust out a scroll containing the names of the early core members.

"First, I'm alone."

"Second, Bai Huang."

Bai Huang was rather surprised his name was called, he immediately got up and advanced forward. Standing next to Xin Chen who was sitting on a huge rock.

"Three, Lan Zhuxian."

Lan Zhuxian who was already standing at the front bowed his body.

"Please help."

"Fourth, Shui." The figure summoned was barely aware that if the soldiers sitting next to him did not tell, he immediately walked around half-running like a boy and stood carelessly next to Bai Huang.

"Fifth, Lao Zi."

The summoned youth raised his arrow bow, his carriage stunned the others with his figure that seemed to be covered.

"Next, sixth. Yun Shan's."

Yun Shan was one of the Emperor's former bodyguards who resigned. He was friends with Lao Zi because it was indeed their almost equal lifespan.

"Seven, Nan Ran."

Nan Ran advanced while scowling towards Tian Xi, trying to mock his friend. "Your fish will be stunned by my charm, Short-spoken."

"Your mouth stinks of all carrion, Big Tall."

Nan Ran squealed, he was about to retaliate but had no time but to walk forward.

"Eighth, Jun Xiang."

Just like Lao Zi and Yun Shan, Jun Xiang was the Emperor's subordinate. Despite his standing under Yun Shan, however his strength and sword-playing skills were not to be underestimated.

Xin Chen read back, "Ninth, Tian Xi."

Tian Xi advanced, charging into the next row of Nan Ran. "My fish are so much more glistening than your face, Great High."

The two of them stared at each other hostilely, not even caring about the other's gaze. Nan Ran hissed whispering, "Just wait for you, Short-spoken."

During the last name call, there was a pause of a few moments. They waited patiently without much protest.

"And the tenth, Dong Ye."

But when the name came out, something happened that made Xin Chen distracted. The bows in Lao Zi's grasp were clinging to each other frequently until it rang loudly in the silent atmosphere. Lao Zi slightly advanced from his spot, with a gaze about to protest.

While Dong Ye advanced with his trademark face, he raised his head, passed the other seat and stepped over some senior swordsmen. It certainly causes small whispers.

"It's nice to work with you, Young Master," he said, looking down. Smiling with the tail of eyes fixed on Lao Zi.
