Ch. 128 - Spirit of Fire Element
"R-spirit Element Fire-?" repeated Xin Chen was almost out of breath, even just repeating those words he was no longer able to. Various thoughts appeared in his mind now, how, why and also the reason the Spirit of Fire Element entered into his subconscious. Although he knew the cause might be due to the Eel Monster's stealth gem, he still believed in disbelief in what he had heard earlier.
It was only fitting that since earlier Xin Chen felt that something was wrong with his opponent this time around, though, although he was sure the Lightning Fox did not lie about the absorption of the stealth gems where he was required to fight his dark side but the figure he had to face now was far different from the prediction. The appearance of the Fire Element Spirit in his subconscious was likely to be realized by the Lightning Fox, just his estimation considering that a power of this magnitude would be easily known by the demon.
"You seem to be very surprised, not expecting to be visited by the Spirit Element in times like these?" the figure throbbed ketus.
"How come? Aren't you..."
"In short, I'm no longer an Element Spirit. My true spiritual power has been destroyed by the other Elemental Spirits, because my fatal mistake gave the demon its power..."
"Black Smiles? Isn't that very different from the Fire Element Spirit?"
The Fire Spirit blinked his eyes twice, he was slightly stunned Xin Chen knew of this kind of thing as well.
"Hm? No one named the damn demon it turns out, to be honest I'm not interested in talking about it anymore. If you keep insisting on having this power then you have to duel with me."
Xin Chen held back the question that had been swirling in his head ever since, there were too many guesses he wanted to make sure of but the Fire Element Spirit seemed to have no intention of speaking more and from the look of his face alone Xin Chen realized he was angry.
"Feel this Hell of Fire, even though my power has been greatly weakened since it was destroyed by those bastards but you won't be comparable to the power of this god!"
True to Xin Chen's conjecture, dealing with Spirit Elements was not the right choice, moreover he was aware that even the incomparable Lightning Fox would bow their heads before them. The Fire Element Spirit Cloak fluttered fiercely, his shining weapon staff unleashed a large-scale force and in the blink of an eye hundreds of gigantic fire lions appeared behind him.
"What's... That?" xin Chen muttered softly, he felt an extremely powerful energy radiate from every ferocious beast that the Fire Element Spirit created, there was no demon air from them. All the power that Xin Chen saw this time was clearly not from his world.
"The Heavenly Holy Spirit - the Fire Prison."
Blue flames spread around them and then crawled upwards forming a large cage so that Xin Chen could not run anywhere from the beasts, while the Fire Element Spirit raised back his staff and upon coming to his senses, Xin Chen learned that the chances of winning were not even one percent. The thought he felt as the Fire Element Spirit re-created an iron protector on every fire lion behind him.
'So annoying... I thought I was going to meet the other me, suddenly having just faced the Fire Element Spirit.' Her inner being was inexhaustible, she said, if you remember it again, whatever happened to him moved out of his control. Xin Chen didn't even know he had survived this far, and the longer the enemies he faced got bigger.
"If this is how it is, I will finish it to completion!"
"uh? I admit you're brave enough, still have the courage in these cornered moments."
The fire lion began to pounce quickly, even though its body was large but for the size of a beast the speed was fairly agile. Plus the sharpness each of their claws could tear the skin extremely badly, Xin Chen raised his waste to the highest level. He knew he would not survive if faced with a beast like this.
The fight started almost unbalanced, Xin Chen was surrounded at once without the slightest pause even to blink he had difficulty doing so. Closing his eyes for just a split second, his arms would definitely be separated from the body by this fire lion attack.
When he felt that the Fire Element Spirit was good enough to not intervene other than to deploy his fire lion it turned out that Xin Chen was wrong, that god-powered spirit figure still continued to corner him by throwing deadly fire poison. At first glance he could see how one of the fire lions accidentally exposed to the poison and immediately burned and disappeared like dust. The horrifying sight was certainly his first time seeing it.
"Does all Elemental Spirits have an attitude like yours?"
"Hahaha of course not..." The Fire Element Spirit added another type of attack, further overwhelming Xin Chen with all the attacks at once. He tried to dodge nimbly and had absolutely no chance of counterattacking.
"I wish they were better than you."
"Yes... They were very good, the last time they tortured me was a thousand times and until my original strength weakened to the lowest point, they were willing to let me go. In the depths of the sea that is very, very hot, can even make humans melt in the water... They're too good that I want to cry."
Xin Chen choked on hearing it, the words of the Fire Element Spirit that said that now his strength was at its lowest and the fact that the other Element Spirit was much more savage than what he was facing right now had already frightened Xin Chen. Considering that he had several times looked for trouble with the Lightning Element Spirit, Xin Chen was increasingly worried that this would cause trouble in the future.
Upon awakening from his daydream Xin Chen only found out he was in a cornered place, right left and front of him were pummeled by the fire lion whereas if he retreated to the back of the fire prison it was ready to bake him to ashes.
"I thank the Lightning Fox for bringing me to a brat like you, at least I managed to eradicate one of you is enough."
"What do you mean?"
"You intend to destroy the laws of nature, you deserve to be killed."
