The Demon Swordsman 2

The Demon Swordsman 2
Ch. 41 - People are Wasted

The village chief who had taken a long distance from Xin Chen shuddered in horror, afraid that Xin Chen had come to avenge his death there. He gulped roughly, glancing right left hoping that someone would overcome the little boy and the mysterious figure who had now entered the village.

"Are you really a ghost?"

There was a voice from the left, a 70-year-old grandfather approaching towards him.

"I'm not a ghost."

The gazes of such people did not believe his words, other than because Xin Chen's body could pierce through inanimate objects, his body had also been covered in blood. Clarify people's view of her guesses as a ghost.

Slightly caught off guard by this state Xin Chen finally picked up one sharp pebble from the ground then scratched the small stone in his hand to bleed out.

"Now do you believe?"

"Why can't..." The village chief started to break out in cold sweat, feeling afraid of having offended Xin Chen earlier. But if he thought about it again there was no way the Houbi villagers would wear clothes like Xin Chen. The more I thought the feeling was getting worse.

"Young Master, who are you? Can you take that mask off first so I can get to know you?"

Actually a bit hesitant Xin Chen told her identity, not wanting to risk her just shaking her head. Refusing to take off his mask.

"We just need to get through this village. Won't bother you anymore."

"Well, I understand. Hey you guys step aside! Give them a way!"

The Lightning Fox still continued to hide its strength as usual when facing the crowd. But one of the fighters from the village could at least measure the strength of the figure in the robe. It looks very strong and is enough to kill thousands of people in one blink of an eye.

Compared to that Xin Chen felt as great as the power of the Lightning Fox, even if he was in a position between life or death the fox would not save him.

Xin Chen's face was instantly sour considering that he might never die. The Eternity Pill that was in his body had been keeping his heart from always beating. As ruined as anything physical going forward later. It meant that he had to prepare to feel death many times.

Xin Chen raised next to his eyebrows as he looked back, finding the village chief following them from behind. As they looked at the man turned his eyes in another direction. Like I wanted to say something but was a little hesitant.

Not intending to ask why Xin Chen finally continued his steps, a little later they finally arrived at the end of the village. Found several women taking turns bringing food to one place. Their invisible faces were doing fine, more like they were forced to do it all.

After a few seconds, the sound of female screams behind the housing residents was heard. The instant Xin Chen's footsteps stopped, his nose could smell the smell of fresh blood behind it. But not a word came out of his mouth.

Considering this an opportunity to complain, the village chief told the boy a little of what had happened in the past few weeks. He was sure Xin Chen and the figure beside him could help them with this matter.

"Sir, I feel bad for throwing you out earlier. I feel guilty, but... But I have other reasons I can't tell an outsider."

"To be honest, what's going on here? Why are your faces so lethargic like that?"

"You realize it, sir?" The man began to tear up, "We're all starving. All of our food and land were milked all out by them." he said half-whispering in fear. Twice looking at the left right, he approached to whisper.

After slightly inhaling the village chief continued, "They will spread the disease to our residents. I had no other choice, they said they'd kill me if they let a stranger in."

Xin Chen patted his eel. "Dad, your work isn't done yet."

"Dad?" The village chief frowned in surprise, second-guessing what Xin Chen said. "Have forgotten it, I must meet them."

The Lightning Fox held onto Xin Chen's arm, "You've just had an all-out fight in the village before, are you sure you want to fight them? I'm telling you, maybe you won't accept my help before it's really needed."

Understanding the Lightning Fox's intent, Xin Chen nodded lightly. "You won't help me, but at least let me help them."

The Lightning Fox was slightly stunned hearing that, she cleared a small thud. Letting the devil work in his own way.

At least he had already reminded, using too much of the power of the Blood Ghost Mask could affect his mental health. Moreover, Xin Chen's body was injured a lot, probably having to be treated so that the wounds there did not spread.

When his eyeballs could clearly see some tents and also cooking places set up in a very hidden place, Xin Chen took out some glass bottles that he had found from the medical headquarters of the Wei Empire earlier. The bottle filled with greenish liquid was obtained randomly, Xin Chen took everything so that when others entered Houbi Village, they did not blame its use.

Seen about 11 people were partying there, the women put food in a place a little far away so as not to contract the disease. The rest of the two girls who had been given up on comforting them cried, thrashing for help.

The swordsmen's eyes were locked at one point where the village chief, Xin Chen and the Thunder Fox were observing them.

"Hey Old Man! Bring me one more girl or all your residents will feel the same disease as us!"

"Pardon me sir, maybe later in the afternoon we can give it to you..."

"Hahahaha, by the way who are you carrying next to you? Looks full of blood."

Xin Chen shook his head, these men even though his skin started to change due to the effects of the disease that was eating away at their bodies but still they spent time having fun. Maybe this is the kind of opportunity they've been waiting for all their lives.

Can have fun with women and wine. Day and night only spend time entertaining themselves.

"Me-they might be able to deal with the illness in your body." said the village chief anxiously, his hands interlocked worrying how Xin Chen faced eighteen warriors at once. Given that the cloaked figure never stepped foot to catch up with Xin Chen, it meant that the little boy only overcame this Blood Devil Human Swordsman by himself.

"You mean cure us? Hahahaha that's so funny! Where can I, how can I!" One of them stood up. "Our chief who went alone to find an antidote hasn't even come back since that day. And you're saying this little boy can help us?" Then the man approached the village chief and grabbed his shirt.

"You're laughing at us?!"

"Don't touch me!" The village chief parried his hands and moved away hurriedly. He immediately washed off his outer clothes so as not to contract the disease. The attitude clearly made the swordsman want to go berserk, venting his frustration at anything.

Xin Chen was stunned slightly, perhaps the person who was killed the other day in his hand was the Chairman of this Demon Blood Human remnant. He said softly. "You can trust me."
