The Unforgettable Story

The Unforgettable Story
Section 73

Kirana walked out of her room while carrying her bag on the curve of her arm. He said goodbye to his assistant who was also preparing to go home. Inside the elevator, he examined his reflection in the mirror carefully. Her makeup and hairstyle are still neat. When he got out of the elevator, he passed Kemala. They smile at each other.

“Pak Bradford waiting inside.” The woman got into the elevator and waved her hand. Kirana returned the wave.

He knocked on Miles' office door. There was no answer from the inside, he slowly opened the door. Someone held his arm and came out of nowhere suddenly kissing his lips. He heard the sound of the door being closed and locked. Two hands wrapped around his body. Without looking, he knew who had those familiar lips. He's laughing a little.

“Miles, that's right.” Kirana said on the sidelines of their kiss. The man frowned.

“What? I'm congratulating.” Goda Miles. Kirana looked towards her lips.

“And that's enough. No need to kiss me everything.” reply.

“You haven't got it today. Remember?” Miles shakes his head.

“Until when will you do this to me?” weak protest.

“Until you answer yes.” He lowered his head and kissed her again.

“I,” Kirana can't continue her sentence as Miles deepens their kiss. He immediately distanced himself and looked at the man intently. “I think we'll talk about my new salary and responsibilities.”

“We will talk about it. Why not do two jobs at once? It was more practical and effective.” Her lips now kissed Kirana's cheeks. “Your salary is three times your current salary.”

“What?!” Kirana rounded her eyes. Miles laughed a little.

“Your job is to check the weekly reports of the marketing section of the branch office, report everything to me once every two weeks. It was for my regular meetings with the deputy directors.” Miles said as he continued to kiss her on the face.

“But if there is an urgent matter, anything, you can discuss it with me at any time. You will often be attending meetings or seminars related to marketing. You also need to inspect the branch if necessary. Usually in one month you will go to three different branch offices.”

“Miles, I can't think clearly at the moment.” Kirana said in a hoarse voice. She kept saying no, but at the same time, she kissed back.

“OK. Come on, let's talk about this over dinner.” take Miles.

“I can't.” reject it fast. “How about we talk about it in the morning?”

“Tomorrow morning we make love?” tempt Miles while kissing his jaw and continuing down.

“Not! Discussing my new duties and responsibilities.” Kirana error. Miles laughed amusedly.

“I'm not sure,” said Miles lazily.

After discussing for half an hour, they walked together towards the elevator. No one around them made Kirana feel comfortable being near Miles. Were it not for her remembering William waiting for her to come to pick her up, she would have accepted Miles' offer to continue their discussion of her new assignment over dinner. He really wanted to know everything about his new position. He was very happy and, at the same time, also scared.

Kirana picked up her son and quickly called a taxi. His son looked at him confused. They always come home by bus. Taxi means not going home. His eyes were staring out the window. Kirana rolled her eyeballs. Everything inside his son's head was just cake and ice cream.

“Will, we're heading to the hospital. Not to mal.” Kirana said.

“Hospital? Who's sick, Mom?” tanyanya's worried. “What am I?” ask her in a high tone that indicates that she is afraid.

“I.” replied Kirana. William suddenly fell silent. She wrapped her hands around her mother's body and hugged her tightly.

“You can't be sick, Mom. I don't want you to leave me alone.” said William sadly. Kirana sighed softly. Why does he sometimes become the king of dramas like this?

“You will not be alone.” replied Kirana gently.

“But if you go to the hospital, I will be alone at home.”.

“I'm not sick, Will. You just calm down. It's just a health check.” Kirana stroked William's head and kissed him to calm him down.

The obstetrician who helped her when William was still in the womb welcomed her with pleasure. She stroked William's hair and gave him a lollipop. Kirana told what she suspected to the woman. Understanding what Kirana wanted to convey, she told him to hold the urine to check.

Waiting for the results to come out, Kirana invites her son to dinner in the hospital canteen. He ordered two rice, one serving of capcai kuah, and three fried chicken. William always asked for more than one fried chicken, so Kirana ordered more before he asked for it.

Allegedly right. She pregnant. According to his doctors' calculations, he was in his seventh week. In her first pregnancy, morning sickness began to occur in the eighth week. He is advised to avoid stress and high workload. One more month he was asked to come for his first USG. Accustomed to seeing it coming alone, the doctor did not ask her to come with her husband at the next consultation.

“Is it normal when pregnant a woman has high arousal?” ask Kirana slowly. He didn't want William to hear it because the boy was in the room with them. His doctor lifted his head from writing the results of his examination and smiled.

“Iya. That's normal.” he replied amusedly.

So that's why she can't resist every time Miles asks her to make love to him. Because he wants it too. Desperate to. After days of not having sex, it's only fitting that morning that she came to Miles' room just to satisfy her passion because she was pregnant. And that's a normal thing.

But they are not husband and wife. What they do is morally wrong. They can't keep doing this. Even if Miles is William's father and son in his womb, he is not her husband. If anyone finds out, both of their reputations will be ruined.

He also does not know how to avoid stress later. He just got a promotion today. New tasks and responsibilities meant he had to learn from scratch again. He had just gotten used to his new routine, and now he had to learn again for another routine.

Occupying a higher position means that his workload also increases. He was no longer just dealing with reports, but also becoming a deputy director who would be heavily involved with the affairs of the branch office. He does not blame the arrival of the child in the womb, but the time is not right. Not much different than William. He was also in a difficult time when his son was growing in his stomach.
