The Unforgettable Story

The Unforgettable Story
Section 13

Disembarking from the plane, Miles follows another line of passengers from first class to immigration. Officers checked his passport carefully, all his pages were almost full of stamps. He finished with all the affairs in less than a minute, then headed for the baggage claim. With his suitcase, he exited the arrival terminal. Seeing a man holding a paper inscribed with his name, he approached. The man took over her suitcase and politely asked her to follow him.

Not far from the terminal exit, a luxury sedan has been parked. Miles got into the car when the man stuffed his suitcase into the trunk. He opened his phone all the way to the hotel. Some of the messages he needed to follow up with were forwarded to his personal assistant's phone number. She did the same thing to her email at her personal email address. At the work email address, he saw that Kemala had checked and replied to most of the emails that came in today.

Arriving at the hotel, a hotel employee greeted him and helped carry his suitcase. He went to the lobby and handed over his passport. Less than five minutes his passport was returned and a man pointed him to the elevator.

On the floor where his room was located, the man pointed towards the room that was at the end of the hall. Before the man opened the door, he already knew it was a suite with a master suite and a smaller room. The suite room is equipped with a kitchen, dining room, living room, lounge, laundry room and two bathrooms in each room. Inside the main room and lounge is a flat-screen television and DVD player.

“Thank you.” Miles said to the man as he paused.

Finished checking emails and messages, Miles headed to the bathroom and got ready for his dinner with his colleagues. He wears a dark blue suit and pants, a white shirt, a silver-and-black tie and brown formal shoes. His phone, wallet, and passport were stored in his pocket. Satisfied with her appearance, she walked out of the room. In front of the restaurant, he saw that his colleagues had gathered. They greeted each other and shook hands. After ordering each other's food and drinks, they chatted leisurely.

Economic policy in their respective countries is a hot topic. As fellow foreigners who open businesses in other countries, they understand the challenges that must be faced so that their business runs well and develops widely. Wanting to be a role model for other entrepreneurs and young entrepreneurs trying to pioneer new ventures, they only accept tax-abiding people to join them.

Ten years together and regularly having meetings twice a year, they ended up with only five people. As the only one with a business in hospitality, Gregory, their Singaporean counterpart, became a permanent host. His other colleagues are from Malaysia, the Philippines, and Thailand. Their business headquarters are in the capital of each Southeast Asian country.

After dinner, they moved to the bar. Their next conversation was about their respective plans to develop the business. Miles proudly recounts the achievements he has achieved in the past six months. Among them, he was the one who could be called the most successful. They are not inexhaustible tease him who chose the easiest country as a place to invest. They do not know what to face in the corrupt country until it can take its place now. But he didn't have to tell them all the details.

Five minutes into the room, a bell rang out from the front door of his room. Miles laughed out loud. For ten years, his colleagues had never been able to send a beautiful woman to his room. Even if they knew full well he would not sleep with another woman who was not his wife. But to confirm his conjecture he looked towards the door hole. Allegedly right.

He approached the refrigerator while shaking slowly, not exhausted by the childish behavior of his colleagues. It wasn't the only woman they would send. Until the fourth woman, the doorbell of her new room will stop ringing. He picked up a can of coca cola and headed for the balcony. The night wind immediately greeted him as the door opened. He smiled at the beautiful sight before him.

For five nights he would see the sight. Then on the sixth night he will be back at his house. That was the original plan. He had changed it a week ago, on a day where again his wife found herself menstruating. Once again their attempt to have children, failed. And all the blame was returned to him. He's sick! Actually, he was tired of fighting for the same thing. She hates her marriage, and intimate relationships. He hates himself more and more who cannot be a normal man. Why can't he get his wife pregnant?

He did not want to go home just to fight again with his wife, so he added time to stay at the hotel for three days. As soon as Gregory found out, he didn't want to take the money. He was welcome to stay as long as he wanted in the suite. Things that make Miles respect and disdain for his colleagues.

The next morning, Miles wakes up with a stiff body. The woman continued to arrive until two in the morning. His colleagues, this one must have been Gregory, really smart to find a time where he would give up and finally let the last woman in. Yes, he almost did it because he wanted to sleep quietly without interruption the loud sound of the bell. One day he will repay them.

She brushed her teeth in the bathroom and put on her swimsuits. Wearing one of the bath coats and carrying a clean towel, he headed for the pool downstairs. There were a lot of people in the pool. But that did not confine his intention to swim. After rinsing under the supplied fountain, he dove into the pool. Leisurely, he swam several rounds from one end to the other.

Returning to the room, he bathed for twenty minutes under the shower water. He chose to wear black and brown shorts. At the restaurant that morning, guests can grab a full meal. Things he never wasted. There are plenty of food options at the counter available from the entrance to the back of the restaurant. He deliberately had breakfast a little late so as not to queue long. Also, no one from his colleagues was at the restaurant when he had breakfast.
