Hate You, Love You

Hate You, Love You
Debts

Quickly Amara bowed her head, avoiding the gentle look of Gio's eyes on her. Amara's feelings were so uncertain.

About the money Amara asked for, he did not really need the money. Evidently from the dowry that Gio gave him, Amara never took it even for a dime. They have been married for months.

Amara asks for the money just so Gio hates her like he hates Gio. But that man was indeed a gentle temper. What he did to Amara last time was just his stupidity.

"Good morning, Mother. Baby Evan is still sleeping? Let me take care of him. This afternoon I had a lecture, didn't I ?" Ask Rani the baby sitter.

Amara turned her head and looked at the woman who was talking to her. "Hu'um," I had a lecture at 9 this morning," replied Amara.

"If so let me take care of him,"

Slowly Amara got up, she did it so as not to disturb the baby who was sleeping soundly. Last night Evan often woke up just to suckle. But Mahesha Evan Abraham's full name was no longer crying hysterically when Amara grabbed her.

Gio also did not sleep, he accompanied Amara staying up late. Providing anything Amara needs, even he helps Amara to find a comfortable position for breastfeeding. So that his wife does not feel tormented.

At half-nine Amara was ready to go to campus. He came out of his room in neat clothes, with a backpack draped over his shoulder. "Breakfast first, ma'am," said Bi Marni. On the dining table is available a basket of bread containing chocolate jam. Next to it was a glass of white milk.

Amara looked at it in amazement. Usually Bi Marni, the housekeeper, never provides a glass of milk for breakfast. Except when Amara was pregnant a while ago.

"That's almond milk, ma'am. Mr. Gio said very good for mothers who breastfeed. It was delivered by a courier here," explained Bi Marni without Amara asked first.

"Oh" said Amara who now understands why there is a glass of milk there.

"Say Mr. Gio again, if you don't like it later he will replace it with other flavors,"

"Yes, I will try to drink this one first" said Amara as she sat and grabbed the glass and inhaled the aroma. Slowly Amara took a sip of the contents, and it turned out to taste good enough that Amara drank it almost half.

Then he kept the glass, and started to enjoy his breakfast. Amara's thoughts drifted on Gio. Her husband was very attentive. When Amara was pregnant, Gio always made sure if he got a balanced nutritional intake. And Gio was always sprightly if there was something Amara wanted. As much as possible Gio will obey whatever Amara wants.

"The car is ready in front, Mom," said Bi Marni again. Removing Amara's daydream about her husband.

Gio also always provides whatever Amara needs. As today Gio can not deliver it to campus, so Gio provides a car and driver. He did it so that Amara did not have trouble traveling.

Quickly Amara finished her breakfast and then went to the campus without seeing the condition of baby Evan first.

***

A girl came over with the intention of taking her to lunch. He smiled when he found Gio sleeping like that.

"Don't wake up, kasian. He said that all night Gio stayed up because baby Evan was fussy," said a man who was Gio's uncle, until the girl had undo her intentions.

"Ooh, sorry I don't know. I had wanted to invite Gio to lunch," he said, feeling embarrassed and not good at the same time.

"Not to worry. I've asked someone else to prepare a lunch for Gio" said the uncle. "I had lunch first" he said farewell and he stood up from his seat, then passed away. He and Gio occupied the same room. And in this place the uncle is Gio's superior. Gio's position was above him.

Dea, the girl who wanted to take Gio to lunch, didn't go right away. He stayed to pay attention to Gio for a moment.

Crazy indeed, but Dea feels attracted to her cousin's own husband. It's not that Dea is selfless, but he knows very well how the relationship of Gio and Amara is far from good.

Even Dea knows that Amara is still in touch with her fiance. Gio is so good. The tall man was responsible for his mistakes and treated Amara very well even though his wife hated him so much. Gio's gentle and understanding attitude made Dea secretly store a taste in him.

Dea could not help herself anymore, her desire to caress the hair of Gio who was asleep was already unstoppable. Fearfully, Dea moved her hand and combed Gio's hair gently with her fingers.

Gio who felt a touch in his head started to return to his conscious. His eyes were still closed but his lips curved up a smile. "Mara," muttered Gio quietly. Her chest was warm and filled with blooming flowers. Gio is happy because he thinks Amara did it.

Hearing Amara's name coming out of Gio's mouth, Dea immediately pulled her hand away. Gio's eyes instantly opened as he no longer felt the soft caress on his head.

"Dea ?" Gio asked in surprise. Spontaneous, Gio held his body up in the chair and rubbed his eyes to relieve drowsiness. "Well, what's in here ?" Gio asked as he furrowed his brows.

"A-I, mmh," Dea couldn't answer. But fortunately, a girl came with a tray on top containing many types of food. Dea was sure that the food must have been for Gio.

"I-that's me here, un-to say your lunch has come," Dea said as she took over the tray from the girl who brought it. "Thank you" said Dea and the girl who was an office girl was a little surprised, because it was not Dea who told her earlier.

"Thank you, but you don't have to bother. Instead, next time I buy lunch." said Gio money felt sad and indebted to the girl.

Dea mengel*m smile. Grateful to have come to see Gio. Until he had a chance to go with the man. Though a few times before, Gio had always rejected him for many reasons.;"yes Gio ? I'll charge him someday,"

Gio nodded even though he was in doubt. Agreeing with what Dea told him.
