"Mama knows, but if you want to see Gio from the good side maybe your mind will change. And as time goes on you might like it,"

Amara smiled wryly at hearing that. His hatred was too great that Gio's positive side was nowhere to be seen in his eyes.

"Honey..," Amara's mother gently stroked her daughter's long hair.

"The age of your pregnancy is increasing, have mercy on her innocence. Mama hope you want to lower your ego and want to accept Gio's proposal. It's for your own good, too,"

"Come Ma.. Can't Ara get pregnant without marrying her ?" ask Amara timidly.

" Don't you feel sorry for your baby if you don't have a father ?"

"I'll take Gio's proposal but Danis can't know about any of this,"

"But what if I still can't fall in love with her Ma ? What if Ara can't accept Gio ?" Ask Amara while sobbing.

Amara fell silent, thinking for a while.

"And one more... Danis deserves to know the truth" the mother reminded.

Amara's heart crumbled when she heard her mother's words. Can he survive without the love of Danis in his life? He and Danis had designed a dream together and it was very difficult for Amara to let go of the dream.

"Thank you for accepting my proposal" Gio said as they sat together on the back porch of Amara's house.

"The thing will be done next Sunday" said Gio again because Amara just kept quiet while keeping his distance from him.

"There's one thing you should know about Gio" Amara said, bowing her head.

"What is that ? What do you want as a dowry ? I'll give you whatever you want,"

"Not about it !" Amara answered while raising her face and venturing to look at Gio.

"I'm not gonna ask you anything. I'll take whatever you give me,"

"Then what ?" Ask Gio full of questions.

"I... I still love other men and will always love them. I hope you can accept that fact...,"

"But Amara...,"

"We're going to get married, but you have to know the truth. I don't want to lie to you,"

"I'm gonna learn to love you. And I hope you do too" said Gio slowly.

Amara shook her head slowly. "That's never gonna happen, Gio. Believe me." said Amara.

Amara already has a way not to fall in love with Gio and his son so that he does not feel heavy when he has to leave both.
