Hate You, Love You

Hate You, Love You
Despised

"Mara ? Amara Mahreen can sit down for a minute ?" Ask a woman from the stage. He was another Amara lecturer.

Although reluctant, but in the end Amara put her body back on the chair. "What are you having a life problem, Ra ? Up to this reckless," whispered Via.

Amara did not answer him, all he did was put his head down again. He did so knowing that Gio was still looking at him. "Can't that guy remember, right ?" Ask Amara to herself. Suddenly, he felt an overwhelming fear. Afraid that Gio would remember that damned night.

"Can I continue?" Gio asked calmly to the host.

"Of course, Mr. Gio. Sorry for what just happened,"

"Oh it's okay," Gio replied with a smile. And he continued his speech. Gio was so calm, and his vast insight made the young man look dignified.

Though no one knows if at this time Gio desperately refrain from running to the girl named Amara and ask what really happened between them.

During the conversation, Gio looked at Amara several times. But not once did the girl return her eyes. Amara continued to lower her grim-looking face. Busy with the piece of paper he was holding.

Amara wanted everything to pass, she desperately held back her eyes from crying and yelled angrily at the man who was talking up ahead. Every compliment that her friends had said to Gio, made Amara become nauseous upon hearing it. "Don't be fooled by her charming looks ! He's just a brengseek guy dark villain*n !!" Shouts Amara in his heart. He really hated Gio.

The speech paper that was in Amara's grasp became an outlet for the girl's anger. He squeezed it with all his might as if it was Gio's face that he was destroying.

The event continued until it was time for Amara to speak. He thought he just had to stand up and read his speech. But it turns out Amara has to stand on the same stage as Gio.

In the end Amara stepped both legs that felt weak to go up on stage. He forced his smile on everyone who was there, including on Gio who never took his eyes off Amara.

Amara stood on the pulpit, and began to recite her speech without paper. There is no way Amara opened the sheet of paper that has become a ball and also shabby, because Amara continues to squeeze it as an outlet for her anger.

But the girl was indeed very intelligent, she was able to speak without the need for text. "Thank you for Father Abraham,"

"Giovanni Abraham, he who represents today," the host's errant, made Amara awkward because of it.

'ehem' Amara cleared her throat, neutralizing her voice that suddenly choked in her throat. "Thank you to Mr. Gi-Giovanni A-Abraham" Amara said stammeringly. And he cursed himself for speaking so nervously.

Amara pulled forcefully to the two corners of her lips to smile at Gio, as she mentioned the man's name. And Gio returned a gentle smile to Amara. That man can control himself.

The speech that Amara read was so short, dense and clear. Stunned Gio for a moment. He knew that Amara was not only a beautiful girl, but she was also very smart. Until Amara returns to her seat, Gio's eyes always steal a glance at her.

Beautiful, that was Amara's first impression when Gio saw the girl for the first time. "Beautiful, as the name suggests," murmured Gio as he reached into his pocket and touched the identifying mark he always carried.

"Sir Gio watches you go on, Ra !"

'Deg !'

Amara's chest felt tight as Via whispered those words in her ear.

"He looked at everyone" said Amara. Then he bowed his head again, busying himself with his cell phone. Amara doesn't want to look at Gio anymore. In fact, he wanted to leave immediately, but he was stuck there until the show was over.

After that, Gio answered every question asked. In fact, he said that if the company is open to all students who are interested in applying and who excel will take precedence. What Gio said made the man even more hailed, except by Amara of course.

The event was completed, the next agenda was Gio's visit to the new facility on campus which was a donation from his father. There are a few places Gio has to go.

Not wanting to waste the opportunity, Gio asked the committee so that Amara could come with him to visit the new facility. Gio said he wanted to hear directly the opinions of the students who used it.

Amara's face turned pale when the lecturer said that he had to accompany the tour on campus. He refused, but the professor insisted.

"What I said, Ra. Mr. Gio is interested in you" whispered Via.

"Unfortunately I have absolutely no interest in playboy male models and minus morals like that" Amara replied in a whisper.

"Did you know him ?" Ask Via.

"That's a rich kid, yeah like that. Not my type" replied Amara.

"Ara, come on !" The lecturer also invited Amara and was very forced to obey Amara.

Amara walked in the back row, while Gio at the front with several people who were representatives of the campus.

Gio's body which was higher than the others made Amara able to see it clearly. During the tour, Amara only spoke if she was asked and it was very short.

Gio had enough trouble getting close to the girl because Amara had always managed to avoid her. Until there was one chance when Amara stood alone, Gio immediately approached him.

Gio was standing right next to Amara, and the girl immediately glanced at him with her eyes when she found Gio there. But again Amara ignored him. "Amara," said Gio with great clarity, made Amara swallow her own saliva with great difficulty.

"Mara ?" Gio said again. The two stood side by side and both observed a poster on the wall. Although Gio had called him twice, Amara did not respond.

"Sir Gio, Amara" said someone from behind.

Amara immediately turned her head, even turning her body towards the sound. That way, Gio was sure that Amara did not want to talk to him.

"Let's have lunch first, already provided in the meeting room," said a woman who is one of Amara's lecturers.

"Oh yes, thank you," said Gio kindly.

"I'm sorry, I can't come" said Amara.

"Why?" Ask Gio.

"Sa-I already have an appointment with other friends in the library to discuss the task given by Mr. Anwar," replied Amara while staring at the lecturer, but the one who asked him was Gio.

"I say goodbye first, good afternoon" said Amara, and this time he forced his smile on Gio who continued to pay attention to him.

"All right, thanks for the help. Nice to meet you, Amara," said Gio with a gentle smile.

Amara nodded her head. Quickly he left the room. Behind him, Gio walked with the lecturer.

Gio noticed Amara, and just as he expected the girl did not enter the library building as he had mentioned earlier.

Amara walked out of the campus, it seemed like the girl was going somewhere else.

Amara walked with her head bowed, hiding her sassy tears down and wetting both her cheeks. His feelings are so fucked up. He wanted to scream to vent his pain but Amara was unable to do that. All he could do was swallow his bitter taste alone.

Unable to be there anymore, Amara decided to go home.

***

Amara threw her body on the bed. And with the body that turned down Amara hid her weeping that was getting louder.

Pain in his heart did not want to go, he hated having to meet the man again. The shadow of Gio's body that was stomping on him violently was always present in his head. Amara felt herself to be so despicable and dirty.

"Yes God... Why do I have to see him again, I hate that guy ! hates. "weep Amara inaudible. Too tired to cry, Amara fell asleep on her bed.

***

Amara woke up when it was dark. His head was throbbing pain from crying too much. While kneeling her temple, Amara got up to sit down.

Before long, there was a tone of call from his phone. He also reached into the bag to find his flat object.

Amara smiled as she saw Danis' name on it. He immediately received the call.

"Why your voice?" Danis asked as she heard Amara's voice turning hoarse.

"A-I'm not feeling well anymore" replied Amara reasoned. There was no way he could tell the truth that he had just fallen asleep because he was crying too much. Danis would be very suspicious.

"Ooohhh.. How was it?" Ask Danis.

"Often, nothing special" replied Amara.

His head again throbbed pain as he remembered having met Gio earlier this afternoon.

For a long time the two exchanged news, until Amara asked permission to end the call first on the grounds of a headache.

"Ara.. are you okay ? You have been sick lately. Learning can be, but do not push yourself too much, too" said Danis reminded. And Amara just smiled, and Danis couldn't see it.

"Don't stay up again. I don't want you to catch a cold rich yesterday, nauseous vomit in the morning. How many times have you been so rich, Ara! I'm really worried" Danis continued.

" I don't want you to catch a cold yesterday, nausea vomiting in the morning," Danis said this sentence made Amara feel slapped.

Suddenly Amara was struck by an overwhelming fear.
