The Dilemma of One Night Love

The Dilemma of One Night Love
Chapter 40

A doctor and two nurses entered the room, after Angga called him to do further checks on Airin. The heartbeat of Angga and Ringga thumped, as if to cry and also smile happily all mixed together into one.

After the examination, the doctor said Airin's condition was not very good even though he was aware of having a traumatic brain injury, due to the impact experienced during the accident. So, Airin can not move his body or can be called also experiencing brain paralysis.

"He can open his eyes, but can't do anything, it takes time and a fairly long process to recover" said the doctor.

Angga was stunned for a moment looking at his wife, then approached and looked into the eyes of Airin.

'At least he's alive, ' Angga's inner..

Then Angga contacted the Airin family, and Airin's parents and older brother came to the hospital with a happy smile, but turned gloomy again after knowing the condition of Airin.

Her mother hugged Airin and kissed Airin's cheeks with tears in her eyes. At least there was relief, seeing that Airin was still alive.

Lingga immediately hugged Airin tightly while saying softly "Mama, mama has managed to return .., thank you ma,". The words made everyone cry.

After 10 days of treatment in the hospital, Airin is allowed to go home but every 2 weeks comes for examination and therapy.

Airin was taken to his parents' house, after conducting family deliberation. Angga will also stay at his in-laws' house, in order to take care of Airin.

All the families cried for a moment when Airin arrived home, then immediately wiped the tears and tried hard in front of Airin. Even though Airin can't move at least he knows that his family still loves him very much, no matter what the circumstances.

'I can only love you in silence, I can only miss you in silence, and I can only see your tears in silence' Inner Airin, when meeting her family. She wanted to cry she couldn't, she wanted to smile couldn't.

'I came back like I was, loved you from afar, missed you from afar, without you ever knowing,'

Ringga came after school, running towards Airin who was sitting in a wheelchair. Lingga kissed Airin's right hand, then Airin's two cheeks.

The innocent toddler, still recounting his daily life even though his mother could not say anything to reply to his words. Ringga complained, his head leaning on Airin's lap while talking about his friend who always took his lunch.

'I want to rub your head, and also kiss you, son.' Inner Airin, looked at Lingga without blinking.

Airin became useless after regaining his life. His mother took care of him morning, day and night. Cleaning his body, even to eat alone had to go through a difficult process.

Airin looked at the tears of her mother who stood before her eyes, Airin blinked and could only say to her inner 'Mother, forgive me …'

During the physiotherapy schedule, Angga always had a work holiday and all day accompanied Airin. There was a sense of sadness that was also seen, and Airin was able to see it but was unable to wipe it.

'Can we go back as we were, me and you are happy, ' the words he wanted to say to himself.

"You have to live, I wouldn't be able to live without you" Angga said, looking down at Airin. Both of them sitting under the glittering star of the night, Airin saw my face in Angga.

It's been a month since Airin got his life back. The same routine was seen from his mother who did not stop paying extra attention to Airin.

Sometimes his father sat next to him, clasped his hands and said "Excuse me, father," a sentence that made Airin repeatedly feel crushed, when the sentence was said by his father he could not run and hug his father.

"We can get through it, don't be afraid .., I'll stay by your side" said his father, then kissed Airin's hand.

The day changes months, not years. It has been a year since the accident happened. Airin is still the same, even though it has done various treatments. His family's financial condition has deteriorated to pay for Airin's treatment. Even Angga, had to kneel back to his parents' house to borrow money for the sake of treatment Airin kept going.

"You still want to survive with that crippled woman, you still have a future!" gertak. However, the curse is always Angga resistant, for the sake of staying and returning to his father's company, in order to find more money for the cost of care of his wife.

Angga began to rarely go home to Airin's parents, on the grounds of being busy with his work. Airin could only wipe away his sorrow in silence. His heart and life felt empty, slowly everything felt changed.

'Is your love still there for me?' the question echoed in Airin's heart, as this time gazed at the stars in the sky alone.

When Angga came home, his tired and gloomy face was visible, sleeping in the room without asking him anything Airin. Then go away, leaving a kiss on the forehead. Coming back with the same gloom, this time the kiss was no more, just a wave of hands before entering the car.

Today Ringga celebrates its fifth birthday, all gathered at the home of Airin's parents. Ringga pulled up Airin's wheelchair, so that his mother could be next to him.

"Mama, let's blow the candles with Ringga" said Ringga, then blow the lit candles out, and cut his first cake for Airin. Lingga smeared the cream cake on Airin's cheeks, then laughed widely. Airin looked at the happiness of his son, but did not see Angga who came.

The next day Angga came, with a gift for Ringga, giving an excuse if his father was busy working, in order to bring Airin treatment abroad with more sophisticated tools and can recover quickly. Ringga who initially sulked, after listening to the reason his father returned to melt, then hugged Angga tightly.

"Dad bring a gift for you," said Angga, taking out a gift box wrapped in large gift paper.

Lingga smiled then excitedly opened the gift. The latest robot from his father made him smile, hugging the toy tightly.

Airin looked at her son's face from the front door of her room, and was relieved that Angga was still paying attention to their child. Ringga immediately hugged his father and then ran towards Airin while showing the gift he got.

"Airin, someone wants to meet, you must be happy," said Angga, then pushed Airin's wheelchair towards the living room.

Airin saw a woman coming out of Angga's car, her face was very unfamiliar to him.

"Airin." said the woman. However, his voice was not foreign.

'Mona …'
