The Dilemma of One Night Love

The Dilemma of One Night Love
Chapter 14

Airin turned her head and looked at Mona awkwardly, Mona suddenly pulled the hand of Airin hiding under the stairs.

"Have you thrown it out?" mona asked, glancing towards Airin's stomach. Airin just kept quiet and tried to get his hands out of Mona's grasp.

"Take it off, I'm leaving!" airin dodged..

"Before a minute" said Mona, drawing Airin's hand again. Mona then shows the ring on her ring finger to Airin. Shows if the engagement of Mona and Angga is already established. Airin looked at him while gulping.

"If you've thrown away why you ran away, the teacher and the other kids are asking you" Mona said.

Airin was silent and pulled her hand again to get out of her conversation with Mona. Airin walked over without looking back at Mona who was still calling out to him.

Tears slowly descended, sadness raged within. Airin could not deny the jealousy and envy that was shackled in his heart.

Arriving at the store, Airin wiped her tears and began to display her smile. Giving the goods that Bu Citra wants on the 2nd floor, then down to the cashier table in place of Milea.

It was getting dark, almost 7 p.m. Airin walked slowly towards the store with Milea, after the magrib prayer at the mushola.

"What's wrong?" milea asked, patting Airin on the shoulder.

"No, I'm just confused. I should have met an old friend I'm happy but why am I sad" said Airin.

"Where did you meet your friend?" sahut Milea, looking right left and back, looked for a friend that Airin meant.

"So noon. We've been friends for 11 years, but it feels like we're strangers" Airin said.

Milea just kept quiet and turned her head for a moment towards Airin, not wanting to ask any more fear if Airin got sadder.

Time passed, now that Airin's pregnancy is 20 weeks old, her stomach has looked big and increasingly difficult to move freely. Airin stood in front of the door of Bu Citra's room, feeling nervous.

As the door opened, Ms. Citra stared at Airin long enough before telling him to sit down.

"What's wrong?" asked Bu Citra, looking into the eyes of Airin. Airin looked at Bu Citra for a moment and then bowed.

"I want to apologize to Ms Citra, because I was not honest before. I'm actually pregnant" replied Airin.

"Yes I know," said Bu Citra.

Airin was surprised and looked at Bu Citra.

"Yes already, back to work there, you're still strong right?" bu Citra said in a soft tone responding to the statement that Airin said.

"Yes, Mom." Airin answered and then walked out of the room and went back to the cashier's desk.

Milea and Manda approached Airin out of curiosity about Bu Citra's response to Airin's honesty.

"How's it?" ask Milea.

Milea and Manda are seen breathing a sigh of relief, indicating that Airin is not fired and can still work.

The sound of footsteps coming down the stairs, Ms. Citra came down from her room. Milea and Manda run to the front of the store pretending to call the buyer to stop by the store.

"How old is your pregnancy?" asked Bu Citra, who was standing next to Airin.

"5 months Ma'am" replied Airin.

"Then your parents knew you were pregnant?" ask Bu Citra again, trying to find out the real life of Airin.

"Yes, I left home because I didn't want to be a burden" Airin said for the first time to be honest with the people around him.

"Being a single mom is so hard, are you ready?" asked Bu Citra again, Milea and Manda approached to help find out Airin's life, especially if the store was quiet.

"God willing I am ready, after all this child is not wrong" replied Airin.

"Then his father?"

"My classmate,"

"He doesn't want to take responsibility or what?" ask Bu Citra. Airin turned his head and seemed to be hypnotized with the softness of Bu Citra which makes Airin comfortable to tell stories.

"He doesn't know, because the man is actually my best friend's girlfriend," replied Airin softly, then looked at Manda and Milea who were nodding their heads together.

Bu Citra then deflated his breath, not daring to give advice.

"Heh you guys are standing here, let's go to work! Sana rose to the top of the stock note, "the bully of Bu Citra who had just realized the existence of Milea and Manda was standing beside her. Milea and Manda were surprised and smiled and ran up the stairs. Bu Citra patted Airin on the back, then went to take the bag out of the store.

Airin bowed with a feeling of relief, aware of the relief when she let out the sadness she felt, then there was someone who would listen to her outpouring of heart with calmness. Airin rubbed his stomach and felt a kick from the baby inside his stomach, then smiled..

Moments later Milea and Manda find out if Bu Citra leaves, then go down to the first floor. And immediately at the same time hugged Airin tightly. Manda rubbed Airin's back as well as Milea who immediately wiped the tears on Airin's cheek. Airin feels like he's getting a new family when he works at the store. Although the longing for his parents is still passionate, but by seeing the kindness of Bu Citra and her two friends, Airin feels excited to live the day.

The same night came again, after closing the store, the three cheerful employees of Julia's store as usual stopped to enjoy chicken porridge. But this time there is a different, not three but four. Child Manda was currently sitting on the bench enjoying a bowl of warm porridge. A 3.5-year-old male toddler who has a round face and round eyes, a different face from his mother's Manda.

Once a month Manda's ex-husband would drive her son Alip to live with Manda last night, to vent Manda's longing for her son. Manda never ceases to cry and kiss the cheeks of her child. A Mother's longing that is 30 days is harbored and met in the blink of an eye. The reason is because Manda does not have enough time to be able to take care of Alip, while her ex-husband is married again and Alip lives daily with his stepmother. Love is so complicated intertwined with a pair of young people who are not old enough to understand the meaning of the real household heresy.

No mother can afford to leave her child behind, although Manda has often said she is being reviled for running away from her ex-husband and forsaking her child. Manda was silent.

Manda told her that if she was also confused about what to do, her parents were old, if she still bergeming begging for money from an ex-husband to support her child, her life and heart would be further broken. Therefore, Manda allowed her ex-husband to marry another woman from whom his son was taken care of from the male side while Manda tried hard to work in Bandung to be able to live with her son from the money that he made collect the. However, time goes on and Manda still hopes to meet other men who will accept herself and her child well later.

Airin stroked his stomach and had the same hope. If indeed one day fate does not bring Angga to his life, at least there are sincere men out there who want to accept him and his son.

Tliiliiiiit ….

The sound of a cell phone ringing, interrupting the warmth that is in front of the eyes. When prayer is linked to what is desired. Airin looks at her phone and is shocked to find that Angga called her.
