The Dilemma of One Night Love

The Dilemma of One Night Love
Chapter 18

The middle-aged woman with her trademark triangular hijab stood behind Airin.

"Bu Citra," said Milea surprised. Airin was similarly surprised to see her former boss come to her room this late.

"Have you eaten yet?" ask Bu Citra, then sit in the middle between Airin and Milea. Airin nodded, Melia shook her head.

"Where's your son?" tanya Bu Citra got up and opened Milea's room.

"In Mom, would you like to see?" sahut Milea's.

"The child of Airin is not your child, indeed you have just given birth," said Bu Citra frowning.

"My son Airin is also my son, I wake up every day at midnight crying" said Milea smiling.

"Ah, you are this. This is a gift for your son, Milea, when she came home, she called and ran away" said Bu Citra, giving a gift package to Airin.

"Ah so who called me was Mom, I thought it was a ghost. After that time the turn of the alley was quiet, Mom, the voice of Milea, Milea .., I would be afraid." replied Milea, by demonstrating the condition.

"Ish," decak Bu Citra.

"This is also the food you bought at richeese, eat it!" said Bu Citra, giving a plastic package from his left hand. Airin grabbed it and took it in, then came out with 3 glasses of ice water on the tray.

Bu Citra walked towards the guardrail, seeing several houses in the settlement and a clear sky decorated with stars and crescent moons.

"Enak is also here, em .., you're selling vegetable pennies now, Rin?" bu Citra looked towards Airin.

"Yes only this morning, tomorrow you want another business, ma'am" said Airin.

"Yes too, if here early in the morning prefer snacking than heavy food. If it starts at 10 it may only sell hard," added Bu Citra. Airin was silent and thought about the words of Bu Citra.

"Job alone in the store, there are new children but less good at selling" said Bu Citra gave a solution.

"Then his son?" sahut Milea's.

"Say your son, how the hell," replied Bu Citra. Milea scratched her head in confusion .

"Titipin aja, if you want to give me advice. You are not married yet, just love your child to a family that does not have children, you can start a new life and your child is also taken care of" said Bu Citra.

"Astagfirullah," complained Airin in response to Bu Citra's proposal.

"Don't ah, handsome son love people, don't Rin," said Milea approached Airin.

"Try you think again, if you still want a friend Mother who is currently not pregnant, she is looking for a child that is not cared for by her parents, she is rich and educated. Your son's life will be good, Rin," added Bu Citra.

"Education is so narrow minded, why not adopt a child in an orphanage" Milea whispered into Airin's ear. Airin hit Milea's shoulder to be calm in responding to the words of Bu Citra.

"Ah, yes, I've only given advice, Mother came home first, healthy yes Rin," said Bu Citra stroked Airin's shoulder. Then slowly go down the stairs and leave. Milea clenched her hands behind Bu Citra's body. Airin suppressed Milea's anger.

Airin entered the room and sat on the floor, opening the gift that Bu Citra had given her. Two pairs of baby clothes fill the gift, Airin smiled happily, his son had additional clothes.

Milea was still upset and reluctant to go into the room, Airin came out and persuaded Milea again not to be emotional because after all Bu Citra was Milea's boss and maybe Bu Citra thought of her son Airin's happiness from another point of view.

Days change months, currently even 6-month-old Ringga. A very active and funny baby. Every morning Airin was still busy selling various foods and Milea helped him keep the Ringga. Both friendships are beautiful and always Airin is grateful, Airin does not know what will happen if lost Milea.

Already 2 days Milea often mused on the terrace of the room alone at midnight. The news that his mother was sick, made Milea worried and anxious. Repeatedly thinking about going home, repeatedly also thwarted it. Milea is still afraid that her neighbors still remember her misfortune during the wedding. Moreover, his ex-girlfriend is married and lives not far from Milea's house. Surely Milea will often meet with her ex-boyfriend, because honestly Milea said she could not move on.

"Having just come home, I just want to go home and see my mother" said Airin, hugging Milea.

"If I had gone home, they would have prevented me from leaving again, Rin. I can't lose you who's like my own sister" said Milea, then wept on Airin's shoulder. Airin also cried, because she would also be very sad if she lost Milea who was like her brother, friend and home to go home. Both of them felt very ill at the thought of parting.

A night full of stars, harboring sadness that hides behind the bright night sky.

Airin and Milea sat together, looking at each other for a moment and looking at the eyes that were both wet, then smiling consolingly.

Tonight, it might be a night that makes Airin and Milea completely sleepless, a travel ticket lying on the table. Milea decided to go home tomorrow at 10 am to her hometown.

Airin could not think of selling this morning, his mind was filled with anxiety. Wanting to hold Milea home, but thinking about it again Airin was afraid to hold back Milea's happiness steps. Milea from morning, has cooked rice and cleaned the room, unlike usual who always wake up in the afternoon if not Lingga crying also never wake up.

The two sat together for breakfast, gravy on a plate mixed with tears dripping down. However, both of them endured the grief and did not dare to say anything.

The travel car has arrived, Airin drove Milea away, down the stairs while carrying the Ringga. Milea continued to hold onto Lingga's hand and looked at Lingga with a smile wrapped in tears.

"If I don't go home, I'll give you all the stuff in my room, take care of our son, Rin" Milea said before entering the car.

Airin nodded and endured her grief, putting on a faint smile so that Milea knew she would be fine taking care of herself and Lingga.

"If it's hard, go home, your parents must be like my mother waiting for me to come home, not alone me. I can't, think about it if .. if you're alone," Milea said, the crying finally broke. Airin could no longer hold back her tears. Both cuddle.

After nearly 10 minutes of the grief drama ended, Airin waved her hand hinting at letting Milea go. Milea could see it from the rearview mirror and still cry. Slowly, he climbed back up the stairs to the room. Opening the room and sitting on the bed, staring at the smiling face of her son, Airin smiled and cried while hugging Lingga.

"I want to go home ...," said Airin lirih.
