The Bujang Lapuk

The Bujang Lapuk
Tomorrow's Wedding

"Al! Here!" Za waved a hand calling Alif who was just standing in front of the room. Since the aqiqahan event took place earlier, Alif did not briefly stick to him. The little boy approached. As if getting permission to return.

"Dear of the Lula!"

The existence of the little baby was probably what made Alif reluctant to approach since returning from the hospital Za was indeed preoccupied with the baby. Moreover, his condition has not recovered properly.

"Za, you eat there first. Alif same Lula let Mother take care," said Mother because Za since earlier was only busy with her guests. Danny was only able to rest when the show was over and his guests were home.

"Al here is the same Uti first, yes. Mama wants to eat."

Alif nodded. Za can understand the feelings of Alif who now has to share his attention with his sister.

Ze walked slowly towards the kitchen. No one was found. But still there was the sound of people in the living room. Fadhil's voice who knows who. There are too many guests coming today. Some of Fadhil's friends even Za doesn't know.

The food that filled the dining table made his stomach suddenly rumble. No matter her body that was increasingly blooming in some parts, Za pulled out a chair after picking up a clean plate in the kitchen. But he undoed his intention of taking the rice as his gaze caught the figure who was on the back porch. Enough lighting makes it easy to capture who the people are there.

"Sir, you…."

"Shhh!" Za put her index finger in front of her lips as Fadhil came and called out to her.

"Why?" ask Fadhil in a whisper. Za looked towards the back of the house. Fadhil followed him. They saw clearly Aunt Sarah who was talking to a man who was resting at her feet. Both seem to be in conversation. Although Aunt Sarah's gaze was empty. I don't know what they're talking about. Because when Alex came, Za was worried. Alif kept calling him Dad.

Fadhil and Za waited anxiously at the dinner table. Long enough just stand and observe the two people on the back porch of the house. Even several times Alex seemed to kiss Aunt Sarah's hand. The old woman's shoulders also seemed to tremble.

Although intrigued to get closer, but Fadhil held back. A moment later he saw Aunt Sarah grabbing Alex's shoulder and asking the man to stand up. Something they didn't expect, Aunt Sarah hugged Alex sobbing.

"Mas!" call Za down with a worried look.

Fadhil rubbed Za's shoulder while thinning his lips. "We were never taught to be vengeful. Let's just hope Aunt Sarah really forgives Alex."

Za nodded slowly. Hope is so too. So they don't need cats anymore with Aunt Sarah.

Za hurried to sit down and take the rice as the two men moved in. Fadhil also pulled up the chair. Despite not eating, he only wanted to accompany his wife.

Alex's eyes looked red. And Aunt Sarah too. But Za and Fadhol have to act as if they don't know what just happened.

"Eat first, Lex." said Za, holding out an empty plate.

"Thank you, Ma'am," Alex subtly refused.

"Since then you've been playing with Al. Let's eat first!" push Za again.

"Come, Alex, eat first. It's not good to refuse windfall."

The dining table was completely quiet. Although there were three people surrounding him. Everyone is busy with their own activities. Until she finished eating, Za deliberately remained silent at the dinner table. His stomach was swollen from taking too much food. After all, the lower part of his body that sometimes still feels pain makes him reluctant to move a lot.

"Mas, Mommy. I've spoken to Aunt Sarah. Thank God he forgave me," Alex said after a while no one opened their voices between the three.

Za is amazed by Alex's attitude that finally dares to admit everything in front of Aunt Sarah. Soaking the problem for too long will not make the problem unravel by itself. Someone has to be brave and willing to forgive each other.

"I also want to talk about one more thing with Mas Fadhil."

Fadhil who heard Alex's words for him also put down his salary and ready to be a listener. "Please."

Alex took a deep breath to shake off his nervousness. "I want to ask for the blessing of Mas Fadhil to marry Safira."

"Ohuk!" Za who was eating crackers suddenly choked. The seriousness was scrapped because all the focus on Za who was still coughing.

"Sorry, sorry. I'm really shocked, " said Za after a bit of calm. They also returned seriously with Alex's talks.

"If for that matter, I leave it entirely to Sapphira. I cannot decide before asking for consideration from him" Fadhil said in a statement.

"Safira is OK, Mas."

"meaning? Since when have you been secretly in a relationship?" ask Fadhil later.

"We're just friends, Mas."

"Related?"

"Yes, Mas. Just commit."

"Yes already. Tomorrow you marry me!"

"Huh?! Really, Om?" Sapphira's voice sounded shrill from the direction of her bedroom door. But a second later the door of the room closed slightly.

"Are you sure you want a childish wife like that?" tanya Fadhil tries to shake Alex.

"No problem, Mom."

"OK. Ask Safira what dowry. Tomorrow at nine o'clock you marry in this house."

"Alhamdulillah. Thanks, Mas."
