By evening, Dave returned to his father-in-law's house, and he drove his car cautiously because Paris was in heavy rain.

"Are you sure Dave really meant to our daughter?" Sophie asked suddenly from behind, leaving Leo aghast at her sudden arrival.

"Darling, haven't you slept?" Leo asked, Sophie did not flinch. She looked at her husband with a sharp look.

"Have Dave come inside! Or you'll sleep outside!!" Threaten Sophie firmly and indisputably.

"Darling, I'm your husband. You're just like your daughter. Equally disrespectful to the husband!!" Omel Leo with an irritated tongue.

Sophie put her hands on her stomach, she looked at Leo with a threat. "Let's count to three! If you don't want to, you should accompany Dave outside!"

"alright. Alright. I'm going to see your favorite daughter-in-law! You satisfied?" Leo walked towards the courtyard of the house, while a triumphant smile was etched on Sophie's thin lips.

Leo wore an umbrella to the yard because the rain was still very heavy. Leo tapped on the windshield and saw Dave get up and open the window.

"Let's go in, Dave!" Tell Leo with a probing look, he looks carefully at his daughter-in-law. His anger melted instantly when he saw the face of his daughter-in-law. Now his heart is completely convinced that Dave loves Maura.

"Daddy has forgiven me?" Dave said cheerfully.

Maura twisted her body, she immediately hugged her husband. "Dave, I missed you. What did Daddy do to you?"

"Daddy didn't do anything."

"Thank you, Dave. You managed to convince Daddy," Maura smiled proudly, feeling she was being fought for by her husband.

"I thank you for still accepting me. Although I never did anything bad to you," Dave's fingers stroked Maura's cheeks gently, making the woman's heart rustle.

"I once put me in jail, too" Maura recalled chuckling. Dave smiled widely, he really enjoyed the sight before his eyes. Seeing Maura laugh, her heart felt very flowery.

Dave turned off Maura's room light, then enveloped his wife. His hands clenched Maura tightly, as if afraid Maura would be forcibly taken again by her in-laws.

"Let's go to sleep! It's late" whispered Dave in Maura's ear, Maura nodding as she immediately laid her head on Dave's chest. Before long, they had already entered the dreamland peacefully.
