Maura immediately called the workshop around the city of Annecy. Two workshop employees immediately came to deal with the damage to Maura's car. Maura walked in haste, then stopped a taxi.
"Dave, is this the case?" Maura muttered.
Maura's phone rang very loudly, it looks like Daddy's name adorns the screen of his phone.
"Hallo Dadd!" Sapa Maura, Maura is acting as cheerfully as possible.
"Where are you, Maura ? Are you all right, son?" Attorney Leo's voice was heard from across the street.
Maura scrunched her forehead in wonder, how would her father know if she was in trouble? Silent for a while, Maura seemed to regulate her breathing, for her to speak as calmly as possible. Maura was not willing to make her father worry. "Maura just got home shopping, Dadd. What's up, Dadd?"
"Son, an hour ago Daddy's office was on fire. Daddy called Detective Martin to find out the cause of the fire. But strongly suspected Daddy's office had a short circuit," the voice of Attorney Leo seemed weakened.
Maura was so shocked to hear the news brought by her father, her worries were so great as she recalled Dave's threat.
"Then what, Dad? Is Daddy hurt? Did anyone get sick, Dadd? Was there a death?" Cerocos Maura with a very worried voice.
"Luckily there were no casualties, son. Daddy's fine, either," Prosecutor Leo seemed to calm his daughter down.
"Dad, does Maura need to go to Paris? Maura's so worried about you, Dad."
"It's okay, son. Tomorrow, Daddy will meet you in Annecy. You and your Mommy take good care of themselves, okay?"
"Alright, Dad," Maura shut her phone. Today a fate of less luck befell him and his father. Is this really Dave?
Maura holds a pendant necklace adorning her neck, she then renders her body weakly in the passenger seat backrest, as her guilt for Dave evaporates. If Dave was the mastermind of all this, Maura would never forgive him.
Meanwhile.
Dave smiled happily as all his plans went well, he seemed to listen to the voice of Maura who was making a phone call with her father. Dave can't wait for that day to arrive, where Maura will come in person and agree to her wedding plans.
"Sister?" Suddenly Valerie appeared behind the slightly open door.
Valerie narrowed her eyes when she saw the many bottles of Wine strewn about in her brother's room. Many empty bottles were on the floor. Then the blonde-haired girl observed Dave's reddened eyes. Is her brother drinking again?
Dave looked at Valerie coldly and expressionlessly. "What's wrong?"
"What are you planning on doing with Maura?" Valerie asked in full search, she looked at her brother with a dislike look.
"So don't just play around with him" Dave replied lightly.
Valerie was stunned, then she ventured to look at her brother. "Sister, you're so different from Dave I know, I barely recognize you. You're like a monster now."
"So this is because of you!! If only you hadn't introduced your brother to your friend. Perhaps big brother's heart won't hurt this much!!" Shouted Dave with a bang.
Valerie retreated her steps, she shook her head slowly. Because for the first time in his life, Dave yelled at him "Sister completely changed. I hate you, brother!!"
Dave immediately held back and took Valerie's arm, he held the girl with a hostile look.
"Do you know how big brother feels, Val? Imagine when you were in the position of brother!! When you love someone so deeply, when you desperately try to make them happy. It turns out that the person you love betrayed you, and his treatment all along was a pretense. Are you still going to forgive him?" Dave let go of his sister's hand and held Valerie's shoulder firmly, he stared at her beloved sister's bead.
Valerie did not budge, she was silent a thousand languages, because however she did justify that Maura's actions were wrong.
"If only your friend had been frank with your brother, you would have admitted to your brother's actions and been responsible" he said again, the smell of alcohol coming from Dave's mouth.
"So you're drunk, get some rest!" Valerie held her brother's arm.
"Yesterday sister followed him to Annecy, when she saw his face she wanted him to apologize. Maybe you will forgive him!! But he left his brother at Lake Annecy. So who's wrong you think?" Dave continued again on a high note.
Valerie immediately rushed into her brother's arms, the sound of a stifled sobbing could be heard. During her life with her sister, Valerie had never seen Dave this messy. She never saw her brother shed tears especially for love affairs, but this time Valerie heard Dave's own stuffing that was held back even though she hid it in front of Valerie.
"I'm sorry Valerie, brother! Sorry friend! But Val please don't hurt Maura! Valerie loves him," Valerie sobbed in her brother's arms
"I'm sorry Valerie's sister, but you have to avenge what your friend did."
