Marriage for Revenge
Dave's Request

Dave seemed to be flipping through a brochure book containing pictures of the house he was going to buy. Dave plans to buy Maura a house and move out of the apartment soon. While being engrossed in looking at the brochure book, a bell sounded. Dave immediately approached the door and pressed the apartment intercom button, how shocked Dave was when he saw his in-laws Attorney Leo and Shopie visiting his apartment.

"Dad, Mom?" Sapa Dave when he opens the door.

"Come please come in!" Dave continued while opening the door of his apartment wide.

Prosecutors Leo and Sophie looked shocked when they saw the contents of the apartment were very messy, looks like sofa pillows scattered to the floor, a lot of junk food wrappers, and other chaos. Sophie just shook her head, she could very well guess Maura was still not smart to take care of the house.

"Mom, Dad? Come sit!" Dave picked up the couch that was scattering on the floor, then he put the pillow to its original place.

"Thank you Dave. Where is Maura?" Ask Prosecutor Leo. His eyes swept across the corner of the apartment, he missed his beloved daughter terribly.

"Dave I made gingerbread for you!" Maura exclaimed heboh while carrying a cake that was still hot.

Maura saw his parents sitting on the sofa, Maura immediately put the gingerbread and ran towards his parents.

"Mommy, Daddy?" Shouted Maura happily, the girl immediately hugged Sophie and Leo.

"Daddy missed you, son!" Leo hugged his daughter.

"Mommy misses you too. It's been a lonely house since you got married and decided to stay in the apartment" Sophie lamented, her gaze becoming sad.

"Calm down, Mom! Later Mommy will not be lonely if you have a grandchild" Dave said, he then approached the small family who was giving up the longing.

"Mommy prayed that you'd get pregnant soon, son? For Mommy to hold a grandchild soon," Sophie sincerely hoped.

"How do you get pregnant, Mom? We haven't even done that. Our relationship improved even a few days ago," inner Maura.

"Let's sit down!" Dave immediately guides Prosecutor Leo and Sophie to the sofa. Then Maura took a plate containing gingerbread that was still hot, she also made a warm tea.

"Daddy's kids are good at cooking?" Leo felt proud when he saw Maura serving the cakes on the table.

"Let's eat, Dad! Maura made it."

Dave, Leo, and Sophie immediately tasted the gingerbread. They looked at each other, he thought it felt very bland. There is no sweet taste, there is only a very strong and pungent ginger taste

"How good is Mom, Dad, Dave?" Maura asked enthusiastically.

"Darling. em-" Sophie tries to be honest.

"It's good, isn't it Mom, Dad?" Dave seemed to give the code through his eyes.

"It's so delicious!" Leo chimed in, then he immediately sipped his warm tea to neutralize the taste of the gingerbread.

Maura seemed to smile with great pride, "Maura is great right, Dad? Maura can cook."

"Yes, Son. You are indeed Daddy's greatest daughter" Leo smiled faintly, then looked at Sophie and Dave who were forcing his smile.

"Darling, let me give you a bribe?" Maura took a piece of gingerbread, and then fed it into Dave's mouth until his mouth seemed full of gingerbread.

"Thank God their household is very harmonious, there is nothing else I need to worry about," Leo said as he looked at the friendly scene of the Princess and her daughter-in-law.

"Oh yeah Dave, when are you guys going to move house? If you have children later, the apartment environment is not good for you," Sophie seemed to remind.

Dave immediately handed over a brochure book belonging to the famous real estate in Paris to his father-in-law.

"Dave already intends to buy a house for Maura, the plan is in the near future we will move."

"Are we really moving Dave?" Maura asked enthusiastically, Dave nodded his head. Maura immediately hugged her husband. "Thank you, Dave."

Sophie and Leo seemed moved by the sight before them, they were so grateful that Dave could forgive Maura and treat her well.

"Maura?" Dave turned around Maura's body, until they faced each other.

"Yes?"

"Are you happy to marry me?" Dave asked, his hands tidying up Maura's haircut covering her smooth cheeks.

"I'm so happy, how about you?" Maura stroked Dave's cheek, she then kissed her husband's cheek gently.

"Since when have you been aggressive like this hm?" Dave hugged Maura and tickled her stomach.

"Dave is ridiculous, stop it!" Maura laughs, he then tries to avoid Dave.

They laughed together warming up their cold and quiet rooms, chatting warmly and telling each other stories.

"Oh yes Dave I want to ask you something," Maura's gaze turned serious, she then leaned her head and made Dave's left hand a pillow.

"What do you want to ask?"

"About children, I want to have children soon."

Dave frowned confusedly, why did Maura look so eager to have a child from him? Though previously Dave who wants to immediately have a child to tie the girl to always be by his side.

"I also want to have children soon, but what ? You're still on the moon" Dave seemed to tease Maura into making her cheeks red.

"Propay ya!' Maura laughs he then takes the blanket, enveloping his body and Dave's body.

"Let's go to sleep! I'm already sleepy," Maura looked for a comfortable position. Dave immediately embraced his wife affectionately. Dave stroked Maura's hair until the girl fell asleep in his arms.

"I love you, Maura."

Dave immediately saw the necklace that was coiled around Maura's neck, he wanted to take the chip. Dave already believed in his wife, he was afraid Maura would be very angry when he found out the contents of the necklace contained a wiretap. When Dave was about to take the chip, Maura squirmed softly until Dave did not continue his intention. Dave hugged Maura back, trying to rest his tired body.

Dave drove his car to his place of work, while on the way he saw a black sports car, he recognized the car very well. Dave immediately drove his car at average speed, he then overtook the car and stopped the car right in front of the car until it made the driver jump in shock and immediately stepped on the brakes very strongly. Fortunately the road looked deserted, only a few cars crossed the road.

"Mr Dave?" As the driver got out of the car, the driver was Roberto Alexander, his business partner and current rival.

"Roberto, I don't want to mince words with you, please stay away from my wife!" Dave warned straight to the point.

Roberto smiled sinisterly, he looked at the man before him with a defiant look. "If I don't want to?"

Dave's jaw was hardened, his hands clenched and his gaze darkened. He immediately approached Roberto and pulled the man's shirt collar. "Can't I warn you?"

Roberto smiled disdainfully, he immediately let go of Dave's hand which pulled his collar. "You're treating your wife badly, you'd better part with your wife, sir!"

"Don't try to provoke my emotions!" Shouted Dave furiously, his eyes gleaming with emotion. While Roberto does not look provoked by Dave's provocation.

"I've found out about your past and your wife is the son of a famous prosecutor in France. I can't imagine what if he found out, you treated his daughter so harshly."

"You don't want to know and feel like you know everything about our lives! Our relationship has been improving lately and I'm asking you not to break it!" Snatch Dave with full of threats.

Dave pushed Roberto, until he almost fell. But Roberto seemed to be able to regulate his body balance. Roberto started luring with Dave, he would blow his punches but he broke them. He doesn't want any other rider to see and spread the no-no rumors between himself and Dave.

"Treat your wife well, before you regret and lose her!" Roberto seemed to soften, he patted Dave on the shoulder then left Dave and passed from the spot.

"Look at what I will do to your company, if you still dare to approach Maura!!" Shouted Dave with a fiery voice.
