"Dave, today I want to go to Daddy's!" Maura's voice seemed to sulk on the phone there.

"Must be today?"

Dave breathed his breath rough, today he is very busy working and intends to work overtime because the project he handled is still not completely finished. But on the other hand, he did not want to disappoint his wife.

"none. I just miss Daddy and Mommy."

Dave is so understanding of Maura's nature, he is very spoiled and can not be far from his parents. But when married with Dave, Maura was willing to leave her parents and choose to live with her husband.

Maura leaned her head on Dave's shoulder, she sang following the song that echoed in the car tip. While Dave seemed to enjoy the melodious voice of his wife to the point that they had arrived at the Montmartre estate. Dave immediately parked his car in Maura's vast yard.

"Mom!!" Shouted Maura when she saw Sophie, her mother was watering the flower garden.

"Maura!" Sophie looked surprised by the arrival of Maura, she immediately ran and rushed to hug her beloved daughter.

"Mommy, miss you baby!" Sophie, she cried when she saw her daughter. Actually she misses Maura very much and intends to visit her in a new house, but her husband is always busy working and there is no time.

"Maura missed you too, Mom!" Murmured Maura was full of longing.

"Dave, my daughter-in-law. You healthy, son?" Sophie stroked Dave's cheek, then he hugged his daughter-in-law affectionately.

"Let's go in! Daddy would love to see you guys," Sophie guided Maura and Dave into her house.

"Daddy's daughter?" Excited prosecutor Leo excited when he saw the arrival of Maura, Maura immediately rushed to hug his father.

"Maura misses you, Dadd."

"Daddy missed you too, baby!" Leo returned his daughter's embrace, he noticed Maura. Her body was somewhat contained from before she got married, Maura was also getting more beautiful and glow up. Then her gaze turned to her daughter-in-law. "Thank you Dave you've made my daughter happy."

"Dave thanks Dad, because Daddy and Mommy gave Dave permission to marry your daughter" Dave smiled sincerely.

"Let's go to Daddy's office! Surely you miss the room in this house," Prosecutor Leo led Maura's hand as they finished chatting and chatting, Dave followed her from behind. Dave was really curious about how the workspace of his father-in-law was filled.

Upon entering the study, the atmosphere was very calm. Lots of books lined up neatly in a clean and shiny glass cabinet. The closet is cleaned every day.

"This is Daddy's office, definitely outclassed by your work space" Prosecutor Leo said.

Dave smiled, his gaze exploring the book neatly arranged in the closet. Dave really likes to read books, especially science and business books.

"It's awesome, Dad! The book collection is complete and clean very far with my work space is messy," said Dave honestly who made Maura elbow his arm.

"Hey, don't talk like that! I will often clean your workspace," said Maura did not accept.

"I mean I'm the one who made my work space fall apart again," Dave explained, he really didn't want Maura to be offended and angry with him.

"You guys here first, Daddy called the waiter first to tidy up Maura's room. You have to stay here" prosecutor Leo insisted somewhat forcefully.

"Dear, can you?" Maura looked sulky.

"May, today we're going to stay," Dave allowed. His hand stroked Maura's hair and slipped it behind his ear.

"Yeay, thank you, Dave!!"

"Darling, sit down you must be tired!" Dave guided Maura to her father's couch. He did not want his wife to feel exhausted.

Dave was still watching the books neatly lined up in the closet, he was so hypnotized by all of them. The book she wanted and the one with limited stock was neatly displayed in her in-laws' closet.

As Dave's gaze turned on the other cupboard, he saw an open drawer. Dave immediately approached the drawer, he rounded his eyes when he saw a document. The document clearly had the writing of the investigation into the bribery of judge Edmond by the Abellard family.

Dave's face was pale as if not in the bloodstream, his heart seemed to melt withstanding disappointment. Will his father-in-law imprison him again? Is Maura involved in it? He did not expect, his deepest heart was disappointed. His old wounds and memories while imprisoned plagued his mind. He doesn't want to repeat it again.

"Dave sit!" Maura's word that she saw her husband standing by the closet drawer.

Dave saw Maura's peaceful face, could it be that Maura and her father were planning something to re-trapping her and holding her in the bars? His other heart denied it, Dave could feel the earnestness of Maura's love. Maura has also given everything Maura has to Dave. Including his soul and body. But why is Dave so afraid that Maura will set him up again like she used to? Is he not able to trust Maura completely? Or is this part of their plan? Dave was disappointed for the second time.

"Darling, what's wrong with you?" Maura looked at her husband's different expression.

"No, I'm fine," answered Dave coldly, which made Maura wonder. What happened to Dave?
