"Dave, what's wrong" asked Maura, who noticed her husband's strange behavior, and they laid her down on the bed. Tonight they're staying at Leo and Sophie's house.

Dave got up from his sleep, he sat down and looked at Maura with a cold gaze, he looked at his wife's pale blue bead of eyes. Again his heart melted, Dave was like bewitched with those eyes. His ego collapsed instantly.

"So I saw the investigation documents in Daddy's drawer. I accidentally saw him," Dave pulled out his uneg.

"You mean the documents about the Razel accident?" Maura still did not understand where their conversation was headed.

Dave looked at his wife, now convinced that Maura had nothing to do with the documents he had seen. "I saw the investigative documents about Judge Edmond's bribery by my family"

Maura was aghast, she also felt very surprised by Dave's words. But Maura also believes Dave will not lie about what he saw in his father's study.

"Booking? I don't get it. And anyway, Razel's accident case, Daddy's closing the case."

"So during my time in prison, Daddy and his men went to Judge Edmond to relieve me of the law. But I didn't know what Daddy was doing, it seemed like my family was bribing the judge" Dave bluntly said, trying to trust his wife.

Dave nodded his head, he stroked his wife's cheek. "I'm sorry I thought you were gonna set me up again!"

"I'm not thinking of setting you up again, Dave. You're my husband. Which wife would frame her own husband?" Maura tries to convince Dave, he stares at Dave's bead in the eye looking for an opening so that Dave can trust him.

"I'm afraid you'll leave me again when I'm in jail" Dave said, spilling his heart and his fear all along. Dave was so afraid Maura would walk away from him again like he did before.

Maura immediately hugged her husband tightly, there was really no intention in her mind to leave Dave, the man she loved now and then. "I'll never walk away from you, Dave. Didn't we make a living promise when we got married? I promise I won't walk away from you no matter what problems we face."

"I believe I love you, Maura. I beg you not to destroy my trust again!" Dave rubbed his nose on Maura's nose.

"I promise to take full responsibility, I've found an eye donor for your best friend Razel" Dave continued.

Maura's eyes sparkled, she was very happy to hear Dave's words. Has Dave been in full charge of Razel? His heart feels proud of Dave, he is convinced that Dave is the man in charge.

"Really, Dave?" Maura looked ascertained, Dave nodded his head. Maura hugged her husband tightly.

"Yes, honey. Now you go to sleep!" Dave put Maura's body to sleep, and she rubbed Maura's hair gently until she fell asleep.

Dave noticed the peaceful face of his wife, he really did not want to lose Maura for the second time.

Half an hour later, Dave still couldn't close his eyes, he was sitting himself at Maura's study table. There's Maura's photo album, Dave opens the album. He smiled when he saw a picture of Maura as a baby, to the photos of college.

At the end of the album Dave saw a photo of Maura with Razel who was skiing. His heart was disturbed, does Maura still like Razel? Feeling jealous, Dave closes the album and puts it in a drawer. Tomorrow morning he had to ask Maura.

"Dad, Maura wants to talk," Maura sat herself on the dining table chair. Maura has finished cooking and serving food at the dinner table with her mother, Sophie.

"Speak what dear?" Prosecutor Leo scrunched his forehead.

"Yesterday Maura accidentally saw the documents in Daddy's drawer, is Daddy investigating judge Edmond's bribery case?" Maura said carefully, she also deliberately lied to cover up that actually Dave was the one who saw the document was not her.

"When Dave is free so easily, Daddy and Detective Martin investigate everything. We found out the possibility that Judge Edmond was taking bribes from the Abellard family. But yesterday Daddy closed the case and kept the document in the drawer. All Daddy did for Daddy's daughter's happiness, Daddy also believed Dave was fully responsible for Razel's condition" Prosecutor Leo explained at length.

Sophie who listened from the kitchen was relieved, she was grateful that her husband did not repeat his mistake a second time.

'Really, Dad?" Maura looks doubtful.

"Dear, Daddy told me the truth. Daddy closed the case and forgot all about it. For this time Daddy relented, Daddy wanted to attach importance to your happiness"

"Whatever Daddy does for Daddy's little daughter's happiness."

While Dave is listening to their conversation from the stairs, Dave is planning to have breakfast with his new family. However, his steps stopped when he heard the talk of his wife and in-laws. Dave was really relieved and felt guilty for accusing Maura of being a no-no.
