Graduation Day

Today is the day Maura is waiting for. Why not, today is her graduation day. Maura will attend the University of Paris in Derot. Maura is dressing up with Flawless make-up. After finishing dressing up, Maura immediately took her bag to leave.

"Where are you going?" Ask Dave who just came out of the kitchen.

"Today's my graduation day, you're taking me, right?" Maura asked enthusiastically.

Dave glanced at his watch, "I can't, today I have a meeting with a client. You suddenly told me."

Maura's smile seemed to fade, her heart so disappointed that Dave would not attend his graduation. Actually Dave knew from last week, because Valerie told him. Dave plans to attend Valerie's graduation and give her lots of gifts, so Maura sees her. Of course the goal is to make Maura sad.

Suddenly Maura's phone rang, she immediately picked up a call from her father.

"Hallo Daddy? Whahuh? Grandpa accident? How is Grandpa? Its alright. Daddy and Mommy keep Grandpa ya don't think about Maura! Maura has Dave accompanying her," Maura smiled bitterly.

After a very long conversation, Maura closed her phone. Maura was so sad when she heard about Richard, her grandfather had an accident. Luckily the accident was not fatal. Maura said she would follow her parents to Annecy City but Prosecutor Leo prevented her. Today is her daughter's graduation day. Prosecutors Leo and Sophie were sad when they could not attend the princess's graduation. However, they also felt relieved when they heard Maura's graduation was accompanied by Dave.

"Grandpa why?" Ask Dave who has been listening to his wife's conversation via the phone.

"Grandpa was in an accident," murmured Maura wryly.

"Then how's it going?"

"Lumayan is severe, but not fatal. I'm leaving first!" Pamit Maura with a lethargic walk.

Without waiting for an answer from Dave, Maura walked out of the apartment. Dave looked at Maura's back with some pity. But his heart must not be broken with Maura, he must not be fooled twice with the innocence of the girl.

Maura left by taxi, after 30 minutes he finally arrived at the University of Paris. Maura occupies herself in the special seat of graduates who have been provided in the University Hall. All of her friends seemed to be being held together by her two parents, Maura looked at them with a sad look. He feels so foreign.

"You don't cry out Maura, you have to get used to this!" Maura strengthened herself.

"Maura?" Call someone in a very tight voice. Maura turned her head towards the source of the voice, she saw Valerie who had just arrived accompanied by her parents, Elline and Albert.

"Val?" Maura immediately approached them, and hugged her best friend.

"Uncle and aunt where's Maura going?" Valerie asked, her eyes looking for the whereabouts of Sophie and Leo

Maura smiled faintly "Mommy and Daddy could not attend. Grandpa accident."

"Then, how's the condition?" Elline followed when she heard the conversation between her daughter-in-law and daughter.

Albert looked at Maura with an unfriendly look, he remembered well who had thrown his son into prison. He also never forgot how big he was to be the Prosecutor at Dave's trial.

"Where's Dave?" Albert looked at Maura with an expressionless face.

"Dave can't attend. Said there was a meeting with an important client" Maura smiled at Albert.

Valerie and Elline scrunched up their forehead, so they knew what Dave meant by not attending Maura's graduation, because last night Dave called Elline that he would attend Valerie's graduation. When Elline talks about Maura, Dave just turns off the phone. Elline and Albert looked at each other, they felt sorry to see Maura who felt unfamiliar with her surroundings.

"You're sitting next to Valerie! After the toga rope transfer event you were with us to take a picture," Elline took her daughter-in-law's hand to a chair that had been provided by the University.

Valerie also took Maura to sit together, while Elline and Albert sat in a special introductory chair provided by the university.

Graduation went well, it seemed that the students were waiting their turn to move forward. Maura was called forward for being one of the graduates who got the highest GPA in her majors and universities. Maura received a gift from the rector in the form of a sash with the words "Cumlaude". However, her happiness was bland, neither her parents nor her husband witnessed the proud moment.

After finishing the core of the event, they disbanded to take pictures with the family outside the Hall. There were a lot of flowers flooding the grounds of the university hall. Maura was so sad when she saw all the students being given flowers and sashes by her family members. He stood alone in the midst of the euphoria. Maura was sitting near Valerie but they parted ways when Maura gave a little greeting as the best graduate.

Maura saw Dave coming with so many flower buckets, she smiled so happily. Surely Dave will give him a surprise, he thought. Dave walked towards Maura, Maura smiling happily as his hand was about to reach for the flower bucket, but Dave passed through it just like that. Maura looked back, she saw Dave giving all the flower buckets to her sister Valerie.

"Thank you" Valerie exclaimed with excitement.

"Let's give flowers and take pictures with Maura!" Take Valerie with great enthusiasm, Valerie walked towards Maura who was standing alone

Dave held Valerie's hand very firmly, "Just let her!"

"You don't do that, she's your wife!" Albert commemorates. Although his heart felt disappointed with Maura, but Albert was so compassionate to the girl.

"Sister, Maura is your wife!" Valerie raised her voice with emotion.

"Leave him!" Dave replied coldly and unfriendly.

Valerie looked at Maura with pity, while the girl looked at Dave but Maura threw her face away. His heart felt so hurt when Dave treated him like this.

"Dave, there's no gap in your heart for me anymore? Inner Maura with wistful.
