Marriage for Revenge

Marriage for Revenge
Pianos

Two days after Maura and Dave moved into their new home, Dave told Albert and Leo that they had moved out of the apartment.

The more the day Maura and Dave got closer, like today they just went home to buy furniture.

"Darling, I have a surprise for you!" Exclaimed Dave, his hands hugging Maura from behind.

"What surprise?" Maura turned her body. Can't wait to see what surprise her husband will give her.

Dave immediately snapped his finger, seeing three men carrying a piano with a step stuck. They put the piano in the living room, a space directly opposite the park.

"Dave, is this for me?" Maura asked happily, he felt happy when he saw the gift given by Dave because Maura had a hobby of playing the piano and singing.

"Yes this is for you," Dave smiled at the joyous expression on his wife's face. Dave was satisfied when he saw Maura so happy with the gift he gave.

"Thank you, sir?" Dave thanked the three men who delivered the piano, then Dave gave some Euro sheets as a tip for them.

"Thank you, Mr. Dave," the three men replied together, they immediately received a tip from Dave and said goodbye to go home.

"Do you like the gift?" Dave watched his wife's face.

"Yes, I like it a lot. Thank you Dave," Maura tiptoed and kissed Dave's cheek.

"You called your husband by name, so rude!!" Dave pursed his lips, making Maura anxious. She immediately pinched her husband's cheek.

"Then you want me to call you what?"

Dave seemed to think, then his lips formed a little smile "Honey, baby, darling, hubby? Emm especially yeah?"

"Hubby? You're so fucking alay!!" Maura laughed crisply. Maura walked over to the piano.

"Darling, wait! You haven't answered yet" Dave chased Maura's small steps.

Maura sits himself on the piano, and Dave seems to follow him and sit beside his wife. Maura immediately plays the piano and starts singing making Dave goosebumps with his melodious voice.

So lock the door

And throw out the key

Can't fight this no more

It's just you and me

And there's nothing i, nothing i, I can do

I'm stuck with you, stuck with you, stuck with you...

Maura sang Stuck With You by Ariana Grande Feat Justin Bieber. Dave so enjoyed the melodious voice of his wife, he felt so lucky to have Maura.

"Dave, that's a song for you!" Maura said after she finished singing.

"So, do you feel stuck with me?" Dave scrunched his forehead.

Maura shook her head, that was not what Maura meant. Why is Dave so sensitive?

"I mean it's fate that has trapped us, and that will never change. I'll always be stuck with you."

Dave stroked Maura's cheek lovingly. Maura was right, it was fate that had trapped them and united them and Dave was grateful for that.

"I love you, Maura!" Dave held onto the base of Maura's neck, he then kissed his wife's soft lips. Until the time is like a pause, they are so enjoying the moment they are going through at this time.

"Dave?" Maura lets go of Dave's kiss when she realizes it's getting hotter.

"Why is your cheek so red?" Dave looked to caress his wife's cheek.

"It's okay, now you're singing!" Maura switched the conversation, she was afraid that Dave would do his thing because it had been a week every night they always did it.

"I can't sing" Dave seemed to refuse.

"You can. Comeon! I play the piano and you sing" Maura looked sulky.

"All right."

"What song do you want to sing?" Maura's finger was already preparing to play her piano.

"Emmm. Just Say You Won't Let Go by James Arthur."

"All right, let's sing!"

I know I loved you then

But you'd never know

'Cause I played it cool when I was scared of letting go

But I never showed

But I wanna stay with you until we're gray and old

Just say you won't let go....

Just say you won't let go...

"That song is for you!" Dave said when he finished singing.

Maura seemed moved by her husband's words, she was so happy to be married to a man like Dave, even though at the beginning of the marriage Dave treated her badly. They continued to sing and play the piano, expressing each other's feelings through a song.

Songs by Stuck With You.

Lock the door and throw away the key.

Can't fight this any more, it's just you and me.

And there's nothing I can do

I'm just stuck with you, stuck with you, stuck with you.

Just Say You Won't Let Go.

I realized I loved you after that

But you never know

Because I was silent when I was afraid to let go

I realized I needed you

But I never showed

But I want to stay with you

Until we're gray and aging...

In the evening Maura and Dave lay their bodies on the second floor of the bed, only the room had a glass roof. But during the day, the glass is covered so as not to become a greenhouse and have an impact on global warming.

"Dave, look it's the biggest star!" Maura seemed to be pointing towards the sky.

"That's not a star it's an asteroid" Dave revised Maura's words.

"But the shape is like a star," Maura did not want to lose.

"If a star must be twinkling, it doesn't flicker. It means not a star."

Maura looked to be watching the star. It's true Dave said, the star didn't blink. Maura turned her body to face Dave who was staring at the sky, she noticed Dave's face. His face is very handsome. Taut eyelashes, a sharp nose, why is he only realizing now? Is it because he loves Dave so much now?

"A satisfied look at me?" Dave muttered but was still heard by Maura.

"You just realized yeah, if I'm so handsome?" Furthermore, Dave turned his body to face Maura until they faced each other.

"You are so confident!"

"Sleep here!" Dave pointed at his left hand, Maura immediately shifted his body and laid his head on Dave's left hand. Dave hugged his wife so tightly.

"Dave, do you know Halley's comet?" Maura asked broke the silence between them.

"I knew Halley's Comet was a comet that appeared once every 75 years, it last appeared in 1986 and is predicted to reappear in 2061" Dave explained, Maura was amazed by the knowledge that Dave mastered.

"Hopefully in the year of the comet, we are still together and already have children and grandchildren" continued Dave again, his hand stroking Maura's hair, then his lips peeked at the top of his wife's head.

"I also hope so," Maura tightened her embrace.

"Please promise me that no matter what problems we face in the future, you will always survive and will not leave me!" Dave looked at Maura's eyes deeply.

"I promise, Dave!"

Maura and Dave fused their little fingers together, Dave immediately enveloped his wife's body as the wind grew stronger.

"Let's go to sleep!" Maura turned off the lights, she immediately spilled her body back down.

Dave tightened his arms, realizing that Maura was like an opium to him. He vowed not to let Maura go whatever happens in the future.
