The Midnight Radio

The Midnight Radio
Episode 66

"Where's Mumu?" asked Adu's mother who was suddenly at the entrance of Radio Rebel.

"Eh, Mother," I cried in shock and immediately stood up to him followed by Gia.

"Why do you want to mumu? It was the child of the Adul's mother" asked Gia after we experienced her.

"Entar first or, Mom cape wants to sit first," he replied walking slowly towards the sofa. "Son of his couch, tender Neng."

We both just responded to my mother's words.

"Emak come to Mumu? He came out, he wanted to buy some food," I said looking at the woman bewajah similar to Adul.

"What the hell is going on, Mom? It's terrible, "gia timpal.

"It's not bad, Neng. Mom just got a phone call from her sister Mamu. She said, Momu doesn't work here. Many demons! Ah umu basic, the time is so doang scared," replied Mother.

Gia and I stared at each other and agreed in silence not to prolong the conversation. From far away I saw Adul who was walking in this direction. Immediately, I elbowed Gia slowly. "You want some family feud, huh, Xu?" lirih Gia's.

"Emak, what's the matter here?" screeched Adul who entered with a plate of siomay in his hand.

"Eh, Dul. That siomay hasn't been paid yet?" ask Mom.

"What's wrong, Mom?" Adul looked at his mother in astonishment.

"Si Udin Mang somay, often call to Mom! Said you'd buy me a penny!" suhut Mom.

"Monday-thursday? Wih great Adu! Make an iftar, huh?" my many.

"Boro-boro Neng! Prayer should be broken!"

"Keep on what dandy, Mak?" Gia curious.

"Eat penny pay kemis!" cynical Mom makes me and Gia laugh, while Adul smiles shyly.

"Later payday, paid," murmured Adul.

"That's right, almost forgot my mother's tea. Where's Mumu?" asked, she looked back at Adul.

"So again buy fried rice, Mak. What the hell is going on?" Adul sat next to my mother.

"Mumu ngadu's brother, call Mom. He said, Mumu doesn't like living here, a lot of demons!" exclaim mom.

Me, Gia and Adul looked at each other. "Yes, every place likes to exist. His name coexists, Mak. How else," said Adul while feeding a piece of siomay.

"Yes, my mom knows! But there is no history of humans fearing the same rich! If there is, here! Let Mom get a little bit snapped!" exclaim Mother.

"Mak, don't carelessly talk," Adu looked back at his mother.

"Huh! You mah, Dul. Just as rich as Mumu, a coward!" mom looks upset.

Adul just lowered his head, but I could catch a look of tension from his face. His eyes repeatedly glanced towards the stairs.

"Emak follow you on the broadcast, or yes, Dul? You are here, waiting for your mother. Mom also wants to see you work," continued Mom relaxed who somehow made me worry.

[I'm still out of the studio with Utep and Kang Saija. Come back to it when you have finished broadcasting. Wait for me if you haven't arrived yet, will you?]

I slowly read one message that Bang Win had just sent and quickly typed in a reply.

[Yes]

"Tea, get ready," Adul warned the one I replied with a nod. I stared at the monitor, setting the volume of the mic before turning it on. After the visit of Rebel Tea the other day, there was never again a disruption every time we broadcast until we did not have to worry anymore.

From the headphones I was wearing, there was the opening song of the program The Story of Midnight. "Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi. Inoxu and Adu were again present to greet the loyal listeners of the Story of Midnight from the second floor studio 12.08FM Radio Rebel Bandung. On this pretty sunny night, allow us both to accompany the listeners' night break with the story offerings that come from the source.

One song Rifah Nuraeni Sani requests from ST12 with Last Moment. ST12 stands for East Station 12 which is a basecamp where the band members gather and practice music. East Station no 12 itself is one of the names of the road that is located close to the Bandung city Railway Station. To all the listeners, happy listening and stay tuned continue."

I turned off the mic and looked at Adul who had contacted the source.

"What the Mumu. People here are safe with gini. Where did he say serem? There-there was a child," said Mother suddenly. "Emang basic son of a timid tea! A scarecrow!"

I just stared at Gia and Adul who slowly looked tense and then refocused listening to the song on the headphones. After the song was about to finish, I nudged Adul's hand and gestured him to take over the broadcast.

"That's the Last Time of ST12. This song is so good that it is yes. It feels sad to be left by the closest people. If you want to talk, you can only come to the tombstone. Uh so slacking, maap-maap. On the other end of the phone there's already one narasumโ€”."

"Heh Adul! If you say tea, don't clamar-klemer that!" jolt the mother with a loud voice that made us shocked for a moment. Gia looks panicked and tries to tell her mother not to make a loud noise during the broadcast.

"Yes yes, it's the sound of Adu's mother getting into the mic" Adu said softly. "There's a source we made tonight. Hello, who is this? Where to stay?"

"Halo Kang Adul and Inoxu Tea. It's with Lely at Mutumanikam."

"Please Lely Tea, what story do you want?" my many.

"You want to tell me the story of my grandmother's death, Tea."

"Snap, Lely Tea!" exclaimed mother is quite tight which makes me back shocked.

"Emak, plis in the first place" asked Gia while clenching her hands in front of her chest.

"People, Tea," I welcome.

"This event was around 2004 or 2005 that is, Tea."

"What a dong! 2004 or 2005?" asked Mom to scream.

"Duh, surprised me, Tea," said Lely spontaneously. "I forgot about it for a long time."

"I was at home when my mother told me that my grandmother had died. Sad, not to believe, kangen too, because I have not met my grandmother for months because of the frequent grandmother hospitalized. Because the grandmother's house is quite far away, I went there with other sodara whose house is close to my house.

Long story short, we arrived at the grandmother's house and were immediately taken to the room by my mother to see the body of the grandmother who was still in the room. At first glance, I squirm, the rich grandmother again sleeps so, Tea. His face was clean, and he looked like a smile.

Not long ago, adzan magrib reverberated. I was told by my mother to pray first in the room, right next to my grandmother's room. Because I used to go to my grandmother's house, I used to. There's no fear at all."

"Yes scared at grandma's own house" she said in a loud voice.

"Mak, plis mak, Adul please diem first," said Adul approached his mother after removing the headphones he was wearing.

"How do you do, Tea?" my many.

"Pas went into the next room after ablution, outside the window of the room that has not been closed, I squirm the figure like my grandmother who again used mukena. Outside this window are banana gardens, tea. The figure stretched out towards me until I was so scared and limp that I wanted to scream and couldn't. But, what was on my mind at that time, just praying, praying, praying.

Finally I was reckless to pray with a figure similar to my grandmother behind me, because the prayer qibla in the grandmother's house facing towards the door of the room. Between fear, anxiety, body lemes, I finally managed to pray until it was over. Once done, my body is quite light to digerakin and make me spout-cabbing prayer equipment. Out of curiosity, I glanced back and wriggled that the figure that resembled my grandmother did not exist" Teh Lely told.

I don't know who or what a grandmother looks like. Just the obvious, I was amazingly scared and still have goosebumps at that time," he explained.

"That's the genie tea! The spirits of the dead are under the guard of angels!" mom's jolt came back which made me hold my chest in shock.

"Mak ..," please Adul slowly.

"Dad, Mother diem" he said.

"Keep Lely Tea how's that abis?" I turned back to face the mic.

"Still scared, Tea. Only for a long time mah ilang itself. Thank God my grandmother's burial process was smooth without any obstacles and I did not squirm the figure until it was time to return home."

"Alhamdulillah. I can imagine how shocked Lely Tea just stretched the figure, even though in the next room there was the body of Teteh's grandmother?"

"I'm really surprised anyway, Inoxu Tea. Fortunately I was not so frightened that I was hysterical" Teh Lely replied. "So much tea, a story from me. Sorry if it's not interesting."

"Just relax Tea, this is the place to share the story. Make up for Lely Tea, always healthy," I said.

"Together Inoxu Tea, healthy always yes," said Lely Tea before turning off the connection.

"It was Lely Tea with his experience of squirming a figure similar to his grandmother who had died. One song request from Rini Sa'a of Chocolate with Far will be the end of our story this time. Inoxu, Adu and team please leave, wassalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh."

I turned off the mic and took off the headphones before reaching for the bottle of mineral water and drinking the contents of it half to the end. "Hayu go home," take me to the others.

"Where if you have died, yes! Breaking all business with the world, so it is impossible to see the figure to others." Mom still talking about Lely Tea. "You Tea, do not be afraid. Human degrees are higher! Oh, my mom tell you? If you're afraid, they'll bother you a lot, but if you're brave, they'll go all the way."

"Yes, Mom," I replied smiling. Gia and Adu looked at me with a clear look.

As we were putting our personal items in the bag, suddenly the monitor speaker played a song.

We all looked at each other, including my mother. "Neng, why is that tea song ni serem that?" tanyanya slow.

"Neither know, Mother. This is my own keputer, no one is fine in fact," connect me with a sense of anxiety. I looked towards the shoes to make sure my shoelaces were tightly tied if I had to suddenly run. My hands sprightly, blocking the bag in front of my chest.

"Dul, may you go home, deh. Mother is cold here," he asked as he stood up. "But Mom drinks first" he added before returning to sit down and drinking glass mineral water at Gia's desk.

Me and Gia stepped together towards the studio door, with Adul right behind us as we heard a familiar voice again in our ears.

Kik kik kik!

"God!" yelled Gia pulled my hand quickly to get out. Adul who was no less shocked followed our lead.

"Adul! Don't stay in Mom!" mother shouted loudly as Gia opened the door.

Brak!

Just a few steps out of the studio, I stopped and pulled back Gia's hand. We looked back and made Adul stop running. "What sound just now? Uh, Dul, which mom?" many quick.

"Duh missed!" exclaiming Adul looked towards the back, where the studio door was tightly closed. A studio door is a door with frosted glass that automatically closes itself after opening.

We weighed in for a few moments while standing up, whether to go back to the studio or not.

"Why?" bang Win asked from the stairs with Kang Utep.

"Regular, Bang. This time Mother missed in the dalem," replied Adul lethargic.

Kang Utep immediately headed to the studio door and tried to open it. Something blocked the door and made it difficult to open, so Kang Utep pushed it with all his might.

"Astagfirullah, Mommy!" the thrill when you get in.

I looked into the studio right behind Bang Win's back. The scene inside explained about the loud noise we heard.

Apparently, when we ran, Mum followed us in a panic so that it hit the studio door that automatically closed after Adul went outside.

"Duh, Mommy," Kang Utep's lyrics carried her mother down to the first floor.

We all followed him when I heard Adul's murmur. "The devil goes into the fishpond again this is mah."

His words made me and Gia suddenly spin out.
