The Midnight Radio

The Midnight Radio
Episode 20's

I stopped walking closer to the radio station building when I saw Bang Win walking out of there. I don't know why, I'm not ready to meet that guy tonight. The awkward situation when he drove me home, I can still remember clearly. For a while I just stood in the yard and looked down playing the leaves of the deciduous mango tree with my feet.

"You waiting for me?" greet someone from behind me.

"Gee!" To my surprise I turned around and found Bang Win already standing with both hands in his pants pocket. "Ngga anyway, Bang. Gia's waiting for Remi again, "elakku.

"The same Gia Remi didn't come out. Last night, they told you, right? Not going to enter first because of shock squirming Adul trance. I'm surprised to see you here. Your mentality is strong also for a timid person," he said casually as he walked slowly towards the entrance.

I just kept quiet and cursed in my heart for forgetting this. I want to walk on Bang Win.

"Cie," Teh Hani smiled as she watched us go in. "Finally broke eggs too huh, Bang Win?"

I looked at Teh Hani with a questioning look while Bang Win immediately sat on the sofa.

"Where is the broadcast alone, Xu?" teh Hani asked, sitting on the sofa.

"Neverything, Tea. Most use a timer to create a playlist of songs."

"Excite ya!" said again. I just nodded and stepped towards the stairs hesitantly.

"Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh, The Story of Midnight 12.08FM Radio Rebel Bandung is back with Inoxu here. Over the next hour and a half, we will share the stories of those who have sent formatted messages to our whatsapp numbers. As an opening, an old chat from Anie Carera with my Unlimited Love When Marjueli's request will be played. If from the request of the song, I call him Mak Mar aja time yes. Make Mak Mar and the other listeners, happy listening and don't go anywhere."

I turned off the mic, removed the headphones and stepped towards Remi's desk to look at the monitor. After entering the song that will be aired at the end of the broadcast, I again sat down at my own desk and chose to contact the source. My forehead wrinkled for a while before connecting with the source. The phone connection was instantly lifted even before the connecting tone was heard by me. After the voice at the end of the connection was heard, I asked him to wait for a while.

"That's Anie Carera with my Unlimited Love Time. Mak Marjueli is richly romantic deh, in his time, hehehe. Yak! Our source is here and ready to share his story. Huh hello? With whom where?"

"With Lena on Riau Street."

"Please Lena Tea, what's the story?" my many.

"You want a story about my love story, Inoxu. A love story that must ultimately end even though my love is timeless."

"Cool girl" I said. "A song rich just now, Tea?"

"That's how it is."

"Mango, Lena Tea," I said.

"I'm a loyal listener from the first time Radio Rebel first aired. That time coincided with my move to the city of Bandung to study. So, when I do not have friends, I can fill my free time as a new student by listening to the radio. At that time my favorite program was Rebel Listener Stories."

"Oh, the one that Bang Win brought you, Tea?" my many.

The songs and greetings I send never change every day. Dealova of the Once Mekel and her greeting to someone who sounds near but far there."

"Romantics," I said.

"Yes, I fell in love with someone because of his voice."

"How do you do, Tea?"

"Saking calls often, the announcer so memorize my voice and immediately know the song and greetings that I will say before I say anything. It is a daily routine. Although busy whatever, I always try to call and ask to play songs and send greetings.

To this point I ventured to be a speaker who shared the story. My story revolves around everyday life as an immigrant and the desire to meet someone who I thought was unreachable at the time. But the announcer who brought me the program always cheered me on. The broadcaster knew that in this city I was living alone and even offered to play to the radio station to just chat. In the end I met the announcer who brought me the Rebel Listener Story.

Frequently meeting makes us both close and can not avoid the name dear. We made it and it was one of the most beautiful moments of my life."

"In a moment, Tea Lena's Bang Win's girlfriend huh?" cut me quick.

"Hahaha, no! Since the last time I went to see him for birthday cakes."

The deg! My brain is spinning and remembering the incident where Bang Win was the source in the Story of Midnight. My tongue is my tongue and I cannot move my body. For a moment I cursed my kebo*dohan who did not immediately realize the story of the source from the beginning.

"Since the accident, I can no longer see Win even though I still like to watch him from afar." As if I knew who she was, Lena Tea went straight to the heart of the story.

"If I hadn't been stubborn and reckless about delivering a cake to the studio that afternoon, maybe the story would have been different. I was sad to have to leave Win slumped for so long. I was devastated watching him cry over my departure. I was angry and demanded fate because of the path I had to go through. I'm tired of being tied up here because of the huge affection.

And in the end, I was happy when I found out that Win had started to open my heart to others and stop blaming myself for what happened to me."

The fear that had approached, lost somewhere replaced with a very sad feeling. I slowly raised my legs up on the chair and buried my head between my knees.

"I'm Win Yes ..." The sound of Lena Tea was heard softly and then disappeared.

I sniffled and drowned in tears.

"Why?" ask Bang Win who just walked into the studio. I felt my shoulders being touched slowly.

"Why not broadcast? I'm waiting for you but you don't start until this hour."

I raised my head and gave him a look of displeasure. As if awakened, my eyes turned to the monitor and were immediately surprised to find the mic not on and found the recording of the broadcast program empty. Lena Tea voice recording that should have seen the graphics on the monitor was not there at all. Technically, I didn't do any broadcast.

"Go home. I'm anther," said Bang Win. I nodded and grabbed the bag. As he was about to step out of the studio, wordlessly Bang Win clasped my hand tightly and did not take it off at all before we reached where his car was parked.
