"Let's get in!" sentak Gia tried to pull me who was hiding behind her back.

"Ngga ah, Gia aja same Remi aja first," I said.

"Euh this is a child! So it is said that do not be sompral, even ga denger. Once again talking rich yesterday, I tapok it's mouth!" Gia said ketus.

"Sorry, sorry, no more" I replied feeling guilty.

"Woyadongwoyadong! Turn zonek aja, run the fastest," quipped Remi.

I just stared at the two in turn.

"Buruan in!" take Gia again.

"Yes-yes, hayu oruh together," I said softly.

After the spray of sentences that the two threw were done, they pulled me into the broadcast studio.

"But I'm afraid, my legs will be held again."

"I'm temenin! I'm sitting at your desk. Keep sitting up, his legs just lift up to the chair, so who wants to hold your legs zonk," replied Gia.

"Oh yes? You can, hayu."

I slowly headed to my desk followed by Gia who pulled her chair here. I take off my shoes and sit with my legs folded in the chair. After that, monitoring the monitor, checking the mic and headphones are things that must be done before broadcast.

"Standby, Xu!" exclaim Remi. "3, 2, 1, on water!"

"Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh, welcome to meet me Inoxu from the second floor of the studio Tales of Midnight 12.08FM Radio Rebel Bandung. On this drizzling night again, I came back with various stories, yes despite the many horror stories huh? One song from Laluna with Lara's heart, a request from Lena Black Maesans will start our story tonight. Stay tuned and don't go anywhere."

I selected the person who had sent the formatted message on the monitor and contacted him as soon as possible after turning off the mic. My forehead shriveled when I heard the sound at the end of the joint. After waiting for him for a while, I refocused on listening to the song until it was over.

"Welcome I say to the new listeners. Too bad you-you all didn't miss Laluna's song. If this song is not known why it is so nyes. Ah already. On the other end of the line is our source for tonight. Please, from whom and where?"

"Neng's night, this is with Abah in Cijagra." Heavy sounds heard from the end of the connection indicate the owner is old.

"Night Abah, what story to share?" my many.

"You shared Abah's life story, Neng Inoxu."

"People, please Abah."

"Abah comes from a village in Garut. Come to Bandung city to work after graduating from school. At a young age Abah, Abah managed to enter work as a laborer in one of the textile factories.

One year of work, Abah returns to the village to propose to a girl. This girl is Abah's teaching partner. His name is also in the village huh, Neng? Marriage happens at a young age.

"Will you marry?" my many.

"Yes Neng. After having a job, Abah ventured to propose to the girl Abah loved. In short, we got married and Abah took her to the city.

Despite the shortcomings, our lives are arguably happy. We live in a rented plot and blend in with the surrounding environment. I did not count how often we fast because there is no food to eat. The high cost of living in the city makes Abah mediocre income for daily living. But yes the name of fortune, human calculation is far different from the calculation of God. Although dizzy financial problems but we can always go through it.

Abah's wife, Ambu, was a very, very gentle woman. Never once did he protest or look upset with the life we lived. Ambu Iklas was given a makeshift living. He treated Abah like the head of the family. Sometimes, he chooses to fast so that Abah can go to work with a full stomach. We felt this for about two years. Anyway our lives can be said to be all short of."

"How do you do, Bah?"

"Aba often heard the Ambu prayer after every prayer that asked that our lives be given blessing in all things. When I saw him, Abah was incredibly sad, Neng. Abah failed to become the head of the family. Don't buy him a good thing, just feed Abah find it difficult. But yes it was, Ambu with iklas received everything.

Entering the third year of marriage, our lives get better as Abah gets an increase in the position at the factory. At risk, Abah began to often go home at night because of overtime. Ambu still cares a lot about Abah. Many times he sat on our rented porch waiting for Abah to come home from work.

In that same year, household examinations came to us, although no longer in material form. Abah wants a child in our marriage, because Abah's co-workers have more than one child. This changed Abah's attitude towards Ambu. Often Abah vent emotions at work on Ambu and bring up children's problems. But Ambu could only smile without replying to Abah at all."

[Sopan you tea to the old man!] it's written on a tablet.

"Yes Neng, Abah is sorry. Abah regretted that he had wrongly vent emotions to Ambu. And she always did her job as a wife well."

"How do you do, Bah?" manya curious.

"Ambu persevered with Abah who grew more and more temperamental. Ambu can only be silent despite the treatment and words that are not pleasant from Abah. He took good care of Abah. Up to its peak, Abah was close to one of the laborers in the factory.

Abah is secretly romantically out there. The term was runaway because Abah felt that Ambu could not fulfill Abah's desire to get a child. Months of forbidden romance Abah lived, until finally Abah completely ignored Ambu.

"Ah Abah mah, Kesian Ambu," I responded.

"Yes Neng, Abah was wrong. The peak was one afternoon after Abah reported that he would be home late. Without Abah knowing, Ambu came to the factory to deliver dinner. As well as Ambu's treatment of Abah even though Abah's treatment of him was the opposite, At that very moment, Ambu saw that Abah was sitting friendly with the woman who became Abah's refugee."

"Oh Allah, how are you, Bah?"

"It was a shock to see Ambu. But again Ambu just smiled without getting angry. He left in tears without approaching Abah the provisions he brought, put on the table so aja.

Abah almost caught up with Ambu but was arrested by the woman who was with Abah. Abah thinks Abah can handle Ambu after work. Even after, Abah returned to work as usual without Ambu's thoughts at all.

Returning home from work, Abah was shocked because there were many people in front of Abah's contract. All the neighbors were present. When they saw Abah, they rebuked Abah for being difficult to contact while working. Without knowing anything, Abah asked what was going on. The answer Abah received made Abah immediately fall to the ground.

Neighbors Abah reported that Ambu was a hit-and-run victim and had died. At present his body is already in Abah's contract and is being taken care of by several mothers. She was hysterical and immediately felt guilty. Abah screamed and with all his might went inside to prove that the news that Abah had heard was not real. But what Abah saw, made more regret and sadness Abah increased because Abah saw Ambu's body stiffened.

One thing that made Abah worse was a few days later after Ambu's body was buried. Abah found a shabby notebook containing shopping notes and a lot of change. Apparently, Ambu always set aside a little of the shopping money that Abah loves to save. The result will be used to make small stalls. In the last note that Ambu wrote, Ambu wanted to help Abah fight in raising the economy of our household."

"Oh Allah, Ambu." Somehow I felt so much sadness, hearing that once lived a simple woman who did so much to support her husband despite not getting the right kind of reply.

"Some regrets, Neng. By Allah Abah is sorry. Plus, there are neighbors who say, if on the day of the death of Ambu, the next morning Abah's neighbor had to drive Ambu to the midwife because Ambu felt unwell. And apparently, Ambu was pregnant when he went to the factory where Abah worked to deliver dinner. It seems like Ambu has come to tell Abah this happy news." Abah's voice became raucous and it was clear that he was crying.

"It is regretful to have wasted the best woman that God loves. Abah regretted making Ambu sad until finally died. Abah regrets not being able to apologize in the last moments of Ambu's life. And Abah realized, in our household, that Abah had failed to become a husband."

Me, Gia and Remi shed tears hearing Abah's story. Regret is the most painful reply. "I am saddened by Abah's story. How is Abah now?"

"Since Ambu's death, Abah shut himself up and got out of the factory where Abah worked. The shadow of Ambu in his last moment was always present in that place. Abah is not strong. There are no women as good as Ambu. Abah could not and did not have the heart to replace his figure with another woman. That's why, until now Abah is still alone."

"Yes Allah Abah ... The patient ones, right? Anything else Abah wants to tell?" my many.

"Anyway with the story of Abah. Thank you so much for the opportunity to share the story" Abah said after a moment of silence.

"Together with Bah. I follow this sad. Abah is strong, right? Take care of your health always."

"Yes, Neng" Abah said before turning off the connection.

"Yes, listener, sad, did you hear Abah's story just now? That's human, just feel something or someone is valuable after nothing. Duh, so sad anyway. Yes 'tilah. One song from Boomerang with the Story, a request from Mas Yash to cover the Story of Midnight this time. From the second floor of the studio Kisah Tengah Malam 12.08FM Radio Rebel Bandung, Inoxu and the team pamit. Wassalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh."

I quickly turned off the mic and put my head on the table. Without me noticing, tears had come out, the effect of the sadness I felt. Despite only hearing the story, I was amazed by Abah's fortitude, patience, kindness and tenderness. Hearing if such a woman is hurt makes me cry even more.

Kik kik kik!

The sound of that si*alan laughter sounded again. Gia quickly grabbed my hand. I was so late in grief that somehow there was not the slightest fear in my heart.

Kik kik kik!

"Cycings! Ari sia teu nempo aing ker ceurik?! Hunk! (silence! you don't see me crying anymore?! get out of the way!)," I cried out in annoyance and kicked down the table.

Miraculously, the sound of laughter suddenly disappeared. I went back to crying for a while under the gaze of Gia and Remi. After feeling better, I grabbed the bag and slowly put my personal items in. Not forgetting, I put my shoes back on.

"Hayu go home," I asked the two who were still looking at me with a look I couldn't describe.
