"Haha!"
Laughter greeted me as I entered the radio station building. For some reason, many senior broadcasters were gathered sitting on the sofa right in front of the reception desk.
"Xu! You healthy?"
"Shock yes, Xu?"
"Kapok tidack?"
"Where are the other two?"
"This heroine, the children of the Story of Midnight!"
This is my first arrival after a week of illness since the last broadcast I left. Broadcast where an accident victim called and asked to be helped.
"Oh, again to ngetawain me anyway?" reply cynical.
"Here geura, sit down first." Teh Hani wakes up and embraces me towards the sofa.
"Don't shoulder, we all fuss over you not for nyepelein. We all have been telling each other's mystical stories while being a broadcaster" explained one of the senior broadcasters.
"Yes, Xu! Almost all of us have experienced it, so we were nostalgic. We don't think you guys are doing the same thing, you know the same," Teh Hani chuckled.
"So the gini rich are ordinary?" my many.
"Gotly habitual. Even among all of us there has been a mysterious fan who is obsessed. Followed home, terrorized, telephoned, to incredible fear."
"Is there a rich one too?" I just don't believe it.
"There! The sample of this one station was in an uproar because he was sent a package of strange contents."
"Wih, very horrified," I said softly.
"Yes, be mentally strong. Our work is related to many people. There are real people, there are events," said one of the broadcasters.
"We are working. The name of work there are obstacles, but if you straighten the intention, God willing, all will be safe." Teh Hani patted my shoulder softly as if encouraging.
I nodded and leaned my back on the sofa.

I entered the broadcast studio along with Gia, Remi and also Teh Hani.
"This is a light pole from the boss. Because it hasn't been opened yet, so ditaro here first huh? Teteh ngasi tau let you guys not parno, ntar think it's what it is," said Teh Hani pointed to a box-sized box of shoes as tall as adults located in the corner.
"Safe Tea, look like it's the label" replied Gia. Teh Hani came out after saying encouraging words to the three of us.
"Standby Xu!" gia said after we sat at each other's tables. I nodded and put on headphones.
"In 3, 2, 1, on water!" Remi raised her thumb.
"Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh, good night I say to all listeners wherever they are. Inoxu greets from the second floor studio The Story of Midnight 12.08FM Radio Rebel Bandung. How's everything going? May you always be healthy and in the protection of Allah SWT. Aamiins.
I personally and the whole team would like to apologize to all the listeners for being absent for a week after our last broadcast. You know who our source was last time. May the deceased be given peace and forgiven all his mistakes. Our opening song came from We The Kings with Sad Song. Good listening."
I leaned back and directly selected the source from the list of listeners who sent the formatted message to the whatsapp number Story of Midnight. After getting it, I started calling the number which was apparently a student at one of the private universities in Bandung.
"That's We The Kings with Sad Song aka sad song. And at the end of the channel there's our source tonight. Huh hello? With whom where?"
"Hello Tea Inoxu, I'm Linda, from Kopo," replied the voice at the other end.
"Please, Linda. What's the story?" my many.
"I want to tell you about my experience when I came home from college. So gini Teh, a few weeks ago, in my college again entered the quiz week. So many of the students who returned home because of group work and also find the course quiz material in the library. Because the next quiz was a group presentation of two people, me and my friend intended to do it together.
That time coincided with the strike of the Angkot majors Chileunyi-Tanjungsari-Sumedang. That's why, until eleven o'clock in the evening, we're both still waiting for an angkot in Chileunyi. Fortunately there are sellers on the side of the road who ngasi know that angkot majors are again on strike and suggest to use the bus towards Cirebon.
Fortunately not long after, the bus arrived. On the bus, I was sniffing my phone and was shocked when there was a message from my mother who told me to go home. My mom is also at home. Confused how dong should. Back to Bandung is impossible. Continue to Tanjungsari, but my house is locked because my mother does not exist. Finally I nginep nginep in his house."
"So nginep?" my many.
"Nginep tea."
"His house has demons?" ask again.
"Hahaha, no tea. The house is safe. The one that's not safe is right in the driveway to the compound."
"What's up?" I asked again out of curiosity.
"So because it is already malem, ojek to enter the complex from the highway already does not exist. We both walk at last. Kebon maize and also swimming pool and shallow pool manual car wash.
We both pass in front of the car wash, many more children on the water. We are ordinary, even smiles because of the joyous atmosphere that the children are feeling. Play splashing water. Until finally we arrived at my house and opened the door with his mother. I still didn't realize when I said it was almost two in the morning.
I was still alone, and finally he said again, that it's two in the morning. There are still children outside the house. I was shocked and thought of the incident just now. It turned out that the incident was very strange. Can't there be kids playing outside at that hour?"
"That's satanic tea?" many spontaneous.
"Ish Teteh, go straight to the point! If you say my temen, it's like that."
"But you're not why, are you?" I waited for Linda's reply anxiously.
"Tea pain for a week, high fever. He even took the next quiz."
"Hahahah," I laughed. "Our same rich here yesterday. On all pain."
"Yes Tea, he said that he would meet someone who likes to be sick" explained Linda.
"So, is there another Lin?" I asked with still chuckling.
"Udah that tea. It was the first experience and God willing the last. No more, amit-amit."
"Okay Linda, make a lot of sense for the story, always healthy?" I said close the conversation.
"Together, Inoxu Tea."
I saw the phone line was cut off. "The story from Linda adds to the many mystical stories that have entered the Story of Midnight. May the listener be entertained and do not forget every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, the Story of midnight will be back on the air. One song from Bondan Prakoso with Flowers will be the end of our encounter this time. Have a good rest to all the listeners. From the second-floor studio The Story of Midnight 12.08FM Radio Rebel Bandung, Inoxu and the whole team pamit. Wassalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh."
I turned off the mic and removed the headphones after the song played. Slowly, I leaned back and stretched my body. After a week of illness, my body became tired.
"Wood go home?" bring Gia.
I nodded and was immediately glued to the corner of the room where the box containing the lamp post stood. It is seen if it is swaying slowly.
"earthquake?" many spontaneous.
"What?" Gia and Remi simultaneously looked at me.
"Forges huh?" ask again. I squinted my eyes at that point and made Gia and Remi turn around.
My breath choked, my back cold and my knees suddenly limp when I saw the adult-high dus still swaying like before. "His chest is piggybacking on candy-rich," I said softly.
Within seconds, Gia and Remi stood up and ran towards the exit. Just before reaching the door, the two turned their heads and ran back towards me.
"Run, Xu! It wasn't because of the earthquake! That's satan an*jir!" jolt Gia pulled my hand.
As if resuscitated, I was shocked and immediately ran out of the broadcast room leaving the two of them.
