THE RECORD: From Behind The Camera, He Keeps Watching
CHAPTER 16: D-2 (Part 4)

The ring light instantly went out and the monitor screen went completely dark.

Comments began to fill with question marks.

“The f*ck? Ah I'm sorry I think there was a little technical error,” said Primrose who now stood up and went off the screen leaving me alone.

Whether it was possible that the air conditioning temperature was at its lowest, I suddenly felt my body shivering. With a dim light from the monitor screen, I saw Isaac holding the ring light cable and the young man waiting for Primrose's command to turn it back on.

Apparently they were playing a show.

As soon as the cue was thrown, Isaac re-lit the ring light.

“Ah this is so strange, why suddenly die huh?” Primrose is pretending.

Some of the audience realized that all we were doing was a play, but others believed it and told me to see if I saw anything.

“The ghost did it?” Primrose read a comment in a surprised tone as if he gasped then the girl hugged my left arm.

“You saw something Izzy? Are they here?”

Damnit. Primrose threw the ball at me.

I flinched nervously and looked around the room, trying to figure out what idea to say.

Suddenly, however, as soon as my gaze was fixed on Noah's shadow, I pegged.

“What do you see Izzy?” Rose asked beside me. Still playing his best role. I felt my body stiff like that.

Behind Noah who was putting both hands into his pants pocket, the shadow of the young man soared while his arms raised slowly to the chest. On his wrist was something circular. A shadow of a watch.

Instantly I smelled petrichor¹, the smell of yeast and the wry smell of dry clothes

My heart is pounding more and more. My breath hunts. While the shadow of Noah that I was looking at was moving forward through Noah's body. I stood up in fear and walked off the screen. Primrose called out my name repeatedly but it was as if I could not catch his voice.

The shadow got closer and stopped right in front of me. Whisper to me in a very slow voice.

I'm stiff in place. Breathing loss.

The five people there looked at me confusedly from the spot.

I opened my mouth stiffly, “A-there are bus passengers in front of me.”

And after that the ring light goes out again.

Primrose turned towards Isaac. The young man raised both his hands telling him that it was not him who did it.

Someone put out the ring light.

And this time it wasn't one of us.

The next second, the lights came back on. The shadow is gone.

Primrose looked at me with a tense twitch. Stiffly he rearranged his expression and sat back down quietly.

“Wah, it seems like someone doesn't like to be told,” explained Rose calmly.

Delilah sniffed her chin at me asking me to go back inside the screen. With feelings still muddled, I complied and sat down beside Rose.

“Tell me, what do you see Izzy,” the girl next to me.

“K-I guess, there's something the passenger wants to say,” I replied.

The sound effect sounds again.

...Radolphy gives 10 cowboy hats...

Comments are getting crazy.

Rose looked at the camera seriously. Time is almost three o'clock. Hunch will be back in the post soon.

“Because maybe the condition is not possible to continue, wait for our live streaming tomorrow at Woodstock high school and we will find out what is there.”

Victoria: I can't wait.

Breegu: I believe this is because of Radolphy.

Bashnk: The last one to get in there is dead. Be careful yaa

Sherlock: I'll wait!

Live streaming is over.

Silent for a moment before Rose, Ethan and Delilah cheered excitedly while hugging.

“Wah, I didn't expect them to believe!”

“What are executives stupid? He can believe in our nonsense.”

“A lot we got today!”

Their screams sounded far behind my consciousness. I was still shaking and breathing irregularly. Noah and Isaac approached me.

“You okay?” ask them simultaneously. The two of them stared at each other before I replied in a raucous voice.

“I ... can you please turn off the AC?” my door.

Without waiting any longer, Isaac got up in search of an AC remote. Leaving me with Noah still looking at me anxiously. I don't know, if you're confused as to why he is, so am I. However, my condition is not allowing me to think things through.

“Hey, Crawford! Your acting is good too. I'll present you an Oscar!” ethan still enjoys euphoria.

“Yes though that was funny to see you flutter like seeing a real ghost.” Ethan's lover still laughs at me with satisfaction.

“I really saw it.” My words stopped their movement.

They all nailed his gaze towards me with a slowly abating laughter.

“What?” rose asked from where she stood. The look in his cat's eyes hit my eyes with a look of disdain.

I squeezed my finger while continuing. “The passenger is really here.”

The blonde girl clucked in a puff. “Don't make up-ngad-”

“Don’t go there²,” my rebuttal with an increasingly thumping heart considering the sentence that the shadow spoke.

Rose approached me about to protest, “The f*ck are yo–”

Before what I said stopped his steps.

“He said dont go there³ ...” I felt my lips shake when I said that.

That whisper of pain was heard again in my memory.

The word is not a threat.

But a warning.

“... or we're gonna die⁴.”

...***...

Rain smell

Translate: Don't go there.

Translate: He said don't go there.
