"Hey, as*holes! If you visit it at least use manners," Isaac Petterson swore loudly like a student demo in front of the government building.
I was just pecking on the spot as he cursed–cutting the dramatic spectacle between me and the people of Lawrenceville. With a face full of tears, I just stared at him like a fool. Too slow to process why one of the Primrose dwarves suddenly appeared here.
Maybe I was feeling sad and chaotic, but my feelings were immediately overwhelming relief when I saw Primrose's tall dwarf body now blatantly defending me in front of the Lawrenceville people. Perhaps this was because I had long since not felt someone standing by my side after such a long time.
The two men from Lawrenceville chuckled off guard, perhaps they were offended when the high school boy said to him lub*ng pant*at unmitigated.
"You don't see? He's in pain!" What Isaac meant was my mother. I don't know how she knew when my mother's expression was flat because she couldn't express herself. Maybe he's just making up. I don't know.
They let go of my mother right then and there. Not because they agreed with Isaac. But because they wanted to give the young man a calculation.
Both of their large bodies approached the calm-looking Primrose dwarf. "What's your problem?" ask one of them to Isaac.
I secretly have the same question.
The young man clucked. His hair that was sticking out irregularly was restored with his long fingers. Seemed increasingly upset.
"He's my friend. I don't like you guys hurting him" he pointed at me with his pointy chin.
I was of course surprised. Why did he suddenly declare me a friend? We're not even close to that.
"He doesn't want to pay his debt. Of course we have to act properly to people who don't obey."
'The deadline is still two weeks away assholes!' I spoke out loud in my heart, imitating Isaac.
"You guys are acting like thugs like this just for the little money? How much?" Isaac asked back fiercely.
The two men grinned, "Five thousand dollars."
"Five thousand do–"
I closed my eyes in embarrassment as Isaac lost his words. Of course five thousand dollars was no small money for Isaac.
"Well, you said it was small money, right? Then help your friend pay." Challenge one of the big men while chuckling triumphantly.
Isaac glanced at me with a determined look, but I immediately turned my face away. Too embarrassed to look at anyone.
"Well, that's a lot, apparently, Uncle. But dragging a parent around rudely is not a polite way. Didn't they? Ahaha!" I almost laughed at his tone which this time sounded more friendly when he had spoken openly about them before.
"Talk a lot to you!" Perhaps they were already annoyed at the young man, without saying anything more, Isaac's uniform collar was seethed in a head. It would be punched out hard before Isaac fended it off first deftly like someone who was used to fighting.
"If you want the money back, talk good. I can lose my patience if you continue this way," he said firmly. The previous witty expression just disappeared while his arm pushed the chest hard.
The burly man staggered a few steps back. Didn't expect that this tall skinny young man was not as weak as he seemed.
"I don't want violence. If you want money, be patient. I'll call someone first."
I watched it confused from the porch of the house with my mother. What would he really do? Call who?
After a few minutes of serious conversation, Isaac finally spoke to the two men. I couldn't hear it so much because this time they just whispered instead of yelling for emotion like that.
Surprisingly, after that silent conversation, the two Lawrenceville men left. Giving me a salute from afar. I don't really understand why they did that.
Maybe Isaac knows I'm confused. He finally approached me in a hurry.
"You guys okay?" isaac's question aligns his height with mine and mother's.
"What are you doing?" Instead of answering his question, I was more curious why he suddenly came to my house when we had never before said hello. The most important thing from where does he know my address?
Rose asked him to watch me? Wh why?
"That's because .. um, I heard you accepted the offer."
I'm speechless.
"On vesta hestia" Isaac said.
I turned my gaze while nodding. "I had to, I need money."
Then Isaac broke his hair in frustration and said something.
"You sure? Do you even know what it is?"
Of course I know. I'm more than aware.
I again nodded and Isaac fell silent for a while while looking at me and mother alternately. The young man said nothing more.
"How can they leave?" my many.
His two fox eyes were running in all directions. Refusing to look at me.
"That's .. Primrose helping you," he said with a cough.
"What?"
"Rose says ... uh .. You're our part! Yeah, yep! Because that! I think that's why he helped you the moment I called him."
I frowned feeling his strange gurgle. Is Primrose that easy to help me? What was that more? Me, be a part of it?
"Thank you." Even though I'm not sure Rose really did this, I still owe this young man a favor.
This is why Rose and I ended up in a serious relationship. Uh, I mean, we're becoming more than just the majority and the minority. Than it should be. My debt paid ten percent, and Lawrenceville extended the deadline. Not there, Primrose asked me to leave my mother to his aunt. A psychiatrist whose home I live in.
The old me, would never believe a Primrose to do this to a loser like me. Although he may have other goals, he has at least changed my view of him.
“Yes why, my money is so much, at least you have a reason not to run away,” explained Primrose while glancing sharply at Isaac, as soon as I asked him. Looking at Pirmrose's expression back then I thought of something. Because it's possible .. Isaac …
I shook my head rejecting the strange possibility that reached my brain. Not likely.
Whatever it is. Now I'm more relieved.
As long as I go to Woodstock, I'll at least be in the safest place.
That's why, here we are now.
After saying goodbye to the psychiatrist, Primrose and I took a lot of our gear to the car that was taking me to school.
In an hour, our first live stream will be broadcast there.
The one I was expecting.
May my hallucinations not come suddenly.
