Pain(Tings)
Chapter 31: Welcome

If this is the last Sita is struggling with the dense population in the capital city. He will definitely miss the traffic noise, air pollution that has become part of this city, the mouth-watering roadside snacks, as well as the scorching heat that often bothers him if he is outside. But one thing Sita dislikes most about this metropolitan is that besides the high crime rate, it is also about memories that will always be imprinted.

Bima and Pratista did not stop giving the contents of that stuff again. Tired of being bored of memorizing it.

“Ma, Pa, already. Sita is fine. Setop perlakuin Sita kayak a child again,” protest did not accept.

After a period of mourning as well as feelings of guilt that bind both parents, they feel a part in the critical state of Widan. Only the suppositions that often Sita heard, said from their lips. Those feelings are also what makes Bima and Pratista become changed individuals.

Not a bad change either. They gave more leeway to Sita on her hobby, with a note not to move to college or reduce the agreement that was agreed at that time; working in her father's company. Not to forget also those who are now more protective and understanding, maybe if it used to be what Sita was waiting for, now he feels uncomfortable with the change in attitude of his parents.

Sita so understand how a word can indeed become a reality in the future. It turned out to be terrible.

“After you get there, don't forget to meet Uncle Rio huh. There, Papa has prepared Papa's confidants to fear at any time you are troubled in the country of people.”

Sita boldly rolled her eyeballs. If in the past, Pratista will rebuke his actions that are not graceful, or Bima who will later shout at him with a lecture of manners, now the two people are plotting to make Sita upset like it.

His former departure was not this serepot, but after many events that passed, they knew very well how to treat Sita like cracked porcelain. Feeling overly sensitive to many things.

“Mama is also ready for additional suitcases for your equipment while there.” Pratista then pushed the large red suitcase which was now beside the black suitcase that belonged to Sita. “This time, maybe you won't come back here, right? Nothing, let Papa be with Mama who longok you there.”

Sita gaped for a moment. He bought his eyes looking at the contents of the red suitcase that Pratista had just shown him. Finally Sita could only sigh. However, they try to make Sita feel comfortable and not continue to fall into sadness.

Sita covered her smile. He hugged Pratista and Bima in turn. Bima, who Sita knows, rarely shows his romantic side, suddenly clutching the two women he loves while dipping alternately Pratista forehead and cheeks Sita. Suddenly it made Pratista blush embarrassed. Sita also slowly laughed slowly, followed by her parents who both laughed.

Although the activity only lasted a few minutes, but it was very impactful on his feelings that became warm. Seeing her happy parents and showing each other that affection, made Sita's heart gradually relieved.

In his heart, he mumbled slowly, “Thank God, for bringing back their happiness. And to Widan, thank you for your struggle as a friend and poet of true love.” Sita chuckled softly with her words at the end of the sentence.

Then his memory looked back. When Hideki looking for him with a chaotic appearance. He did not even care about the reaction of the house people when he saw his arrival at the Trella residence to pick him up. Sita pulled both corners of her lips into a fleeting smile. Sometimes, Hideki's attitude is too similar to Widan's. Until subconsciously, Sita secretly seeks himself Widan in Hideki.

However, no matter how hard he looked for it, the other side of his heart kept saying that Hideki was the man he met carelessly in Sakura's land was not the Widan who had accompanied him almost in every journey of his life.

“Eh, it's Mama's son why smile to himself, hm? There is good news you didn't share?” goda Pratista increasingly aggressively questioning the cause of Sita who finally looks more often smile.

Not to be outdone by his wife, Bima also chimed in, “Seinget Papa anyway kayak gini tuh behavior, similar to your Mama again persimsem the same cool Papa this.”

Older brother...

Sita still had time to hear her mother's grumbling about Bima's ignorant attitude in teasing him. But not for a long time, because after that, Sita was busy with all the thoughts about Adya.

...•••...

It has been almost an even year since his last sentence to the grave of his brother. Now the tomb looks a little unkempt because of the wild plants that grow around it. Fortunately, Sita had prepared all her needs in this situation. He painstakingly plucked the wild plant and collected it in dark plastic for later disposal where it should be. Not to forget, Sita also wet the grave of the brother with water that has been prepared and sprinkled fresh scented flowers.

After saying a prayer, Sita rubbed the head of a headstone that read the name of the brother, Adya Surya. A thin smile is getting peppered, when remembering his memories with Adya.

“He said, that time could be a wound healer. But, why do I feel that the wound just hurt me again?” whispered Sita with a soft look.

No one answered his suffering. Sita let the wind carry away her anxiety because remembering Adya, is tantamount to hurting her feelings as well. The feeling of not being willing to be left behind, still imprints. It was as if it had just been inscribed by Adya who had already left it for almost twenty years.

The breath that Sita let out, felt heavy. There is still a burden of invisible feelings that always stuck in his heart, if he did not commit to the tomb of Adya. Not enough with a handful of feelings that torment him, Sita was surprised by the presence of Widan beside him.

“Wi... and?” ask her with quivering lips and glassy eyes. Sita was powerless to hold back her cries when she saw the Widan who was really in front of her.

“You... how can?”

Unable to get a reply, Sita tried to reach Widan's arm, but only a flash of wind that she could hold. As if a reminder that before him already does not have his body back, Widan looks happy. He commented on the smile that Sita was looking forward to. Then Widan's gaze was diverted to the person who stood not far from Sita.

Out of curiosity, Sita finally followed the direction of Widan's gaze and ended up with her eyes finding Hideki in casual clothes walking towards her. Just like the face of Widan that reduces happiness, the smile also seemed to never fade from Hideki's face.

Until Hideki is one more step with him, he extends his hand to Sita. “Are you ready to go back on an adventure in the country of people?”

The offer sounds tempting. He turned his head for a moment at the shadow of Widan who was still beside him. Only, after getting a nod from Widan, Sita received Hideki's helping hand. Surprisingly, there was no doubt at all in his choice this time. He also felt the shadow of the Widan gradually disappear after their two hands intertwined.

“Japan, I'm coming,” shouted Sita loudly.

Hideki also laughed because of anxiety with Sita's behavior.
