Pain(Tings)
Chapter 29: Flashback

In the past, Adya always wanted to establish an art gallery as a place for display space of his work. He also hopes that art lovers can taste the meaning behind his paintings, as well as provide constructive criticism for him in order to improve themselves. But unfortunately, his desire is only limited to wishful thinking, because after Adya decided to travel in the land of people, his life can not be helped when he returned to the capital.

Indirectly, his closeness with Adya, made Sita follow the lunge of the brother. His ambition to build a dwelling for the paintings he has made as well, was included in his wish list.

Sita also remembered very well when she told me excitedly about her desire to build a house for her paintings to be enjoyed by many people.

Time goes by very fast. As if not felt that last year, little Sita and Widan followed a series of activities in kindergarten, now they have worn the official uniform blend of colors heirloom flag.

Shortly after they mingled with the environment, teachers often asked each student's ideals and explained them in front of the class. That made Sita worried. Being the center of attention of many pairs of eyes that pay attention to him, included in the last list of his wishes. It was unimaginable that it would end like this.

“You are afraid of those who see you or you are afraid of being mated with them?” whispered Widan next to Sita.

Unknowingly, so nervous that soon will come forward, after the mention of the name according to the absence list it makes his hands sweat cold.

“I ... I don't know either,” her softly while covering her face with both palms.

Widan patted his back slowly. Sita finally had the courage to go back to see Widan.

“You're afraid, we're just going forward, how? I'll accompany you later.”

Widan's proposal was able to make him smile happily. Especially when their teacher approved Widan's proposal and made them both stand in front of the class simultaneously.

“I Widan and I aspire to explore the world like Dad and record it on camera.”

Until the time comes Sita expressed her point, Widan smiled at him at a glance. A sign that there was nothing to worry about. So with clumsy and a little timid, Sita finally managed to open the voice, “I Sita. I love painting, when I grow up, I want to have a house that houses my paintings,” he said happily, while imagining a beautiful house for his paintings, as Adya told him.

Unexpectedly, many years later, the dream that Sita felt was only a small wishful thinking, was able to be fulfilled when the person who accompanied half of his life with Sita, was no longer by his side.

Pratista who was beside Sita, immediately grabbed her daughter. “Mama did not expect, it turns out Widan gave up all the abilities of his hard work so far to realize your dream,” he said while smiling haru.

Meanwhile, Sita was already crying a mouthful. For him, this does not mean that his dream is realized, if it must be paid for by the absence of the most important person in his life.

As if it was not enough with Sita who accepted the fact that having successfully set up an art gallery for her was the last job Widan did before closing her eyes forever, she said, Bima again revealed the fact that increasingly made Sita cry and could not jump back her sagging body weight.

“Even Papa more unexpected, Widan prefers to allocate the treatment funds that Papa loves to him for the treatment of his cancer, to make Papa's daughter happy in the future, to make Papa's daughter,” reveal Bima with teary eyes. He knew nothing more than Widan about his daughter's little wish. He felt bad about being a father.

Man is a sentient being, possessing a sense of creativity and karsa. Which sometimes must be poured into a work so that people can see the other side of someone who has an imagination. So that one is also able to feel and see the other world of what the creators of art feel in the form of color strokes. They want you to be immersed in their imagination. Too stingy if a good imagination is not shared.

Therefore, making a work is important. Because the work is long-lived that can be enjoyed up to any time. To be enjoyed by all layers. Indonesia itself, has thousands of cool artists. They work in forms that always draw our attention. One of the places to see the cool artwork is the art gallery.

One of the functions of the art gallery desired by Sita in managing the art gallery given by Widan is as a display room for her work and Adya's work. Display room works that will have a function to display the artwork of an artist or group so that it can be enjoyed by the community. Each gallery even has its own quality standards to choose the artist or work to be exhibited.

“Have you felt light?” ask Pratista who is now sitting facing him behind the round table available near the gallery.

Although it was faint, Sita nodded slowly. He also just finished arranging the gallery which will be ready to be inaugurated. Sita also smiled wryly when she realized that the person who was most important in making this art gallery was gone, making her sad again.

The gentle rubbing that Sita received on the back of her hand made Sita's attention back to her mother.

“Widan would be proud of you later. Don't be mostly sad yes, later he will not calm there,” Pratista's advice before finally Sita nodded slowly. For now, all Sita could do was cry in silence.
