Andina gawked when she saw a row of photos of men on Sania's phone. There are twenty more. Among one of the photos, Andina saw a photo of Akhyar.
“They are all mine. I'm not gonna give it to anyone. None of them, I won't let go.”
Andina gulps. “What do you think all men are? Items that can be collected?”
The corner of Sania's lips rose. He put his phone back in his bag. “Why? You envy I could have them all?”
“You're really crazy huh, San. You better go psychologist. Or to the psiakiater. Your head is not right.”
Sania advanced, shrinking the distance between herself and Andina. “Neither comment on what is in my head. If you love your baby you haven't met, stay away from Akhyar. She's mine. If you don't listen to me. You'll be sorry yourself, Din. You saw for yourself what I could do last night.”
“You don't love Akhyar, San. You just want to have it to complete your collection.”
“Yes. Without Akhyar, my collection would not be complete.” Sania rubbed Andina's stomach. “Don't forget what I said that you still love your content.”
Andina again swallowed. Sania is really scary. His heart was beating fast, realizing he would not be able to win if he fought with the woman.
With a scary grin, Sania leaves. The woman wandered down the corridor like a cat who had just eaten a delicious meal.
Andina felt her heart go wrong. Legs limp. He held onto the wall to keep from falling. He then walked slowly to Akhyar's ward.
“Mbak Andina should rest in the room. I'll call Mbak Andina if Akhyar wakes up later.”
Andina extended her neck, staring at Akhyar's chest rising and falling with a fixed rhythm. He also nodded. There was no point in sitting there all day. Moreover, he was still surprised by what Sania said earlier.
Rini's mother follows Andina to her daughter's nursery. He threw his body on the couch.
“Who was that girl, Din? Mama see, she doesn't like you.” Ms. Rini asked while helping Andina lie on the bed.
“She's Akhyar's ex-girlfriend, Ma.”
“His ex-girlfriend Akhyar? He has no evil intentions with you, ‘kan?”
Andina sighed. He thought for a moment whether the incident should be told last night to his parents or not.
“He mastermind overnight, Ma.” Andina decided to tell a story. He needs help to avoid Sania.
“Gosh.” Bu Rini turned to Mr. Satrio who was already sitting on the sofa. “Papa hear what Andina said? Akhyar's ex is the mastermind of this incident. From the beginning, Mama already had a bad feeling with Akhyar. Papa doesn't listen to Mama. Akhyar's bringing bad luck to Andina. Supposedly, we find someone else, not the maid's son.”
“Mama what the fuck, anyway? I'm telling you this not to hear Mama insulting Akhyar. I told him so I could calm down. So that I don't feel alone. If I think this, I regret the same story Mama.”
Miss Rini pulled the chair to the side of the bed. He sat down rough. “Mama is like this for your good, Din. Mama did not agree to marry Akhyar from the beginning. You yourself have told me Mama is very upset with Akhyar who is smart on campus. This is because your Papa does not want to find another man. There must be many other men who can be invited to work together.”
Andina looked at her father. “Pa, please take Mama out. My head will hurt even more if Mama is here.”
Mr. Satrio nodded. He is also confused about facing this problem. He brought Bu Rini to sit outside.
“Papa why, anyway? Didn't see that our daughter almost died because of her ex Akhyar?”
“Mama should be quiet. Look Akhyar. He's protecting our daughter. If it was anyone else, would that person protect Andina to the point of risking her life like Akhyar did?”
“Yes, if other men. There won't be a crazy ex like that woman.”
“Mama can guarantee? There could have been a more horrible former person. In fact, it does not rule out the possibility of the person himself hurting Andina. Think about it, Ma. We can sleep quietly because we married Andina to Akhyar, not another man.”
Miss Rini turned her face away. She could not argue with her husband anymore. It was true, they could sleep quietly because her husband Andina who was invited to work together was the man they knew. If it was any other man, he and Mr. Satrio would definitely be even more worried.
In the hospital parking lot, Reza stared at Sania's slow-moving car. He's been following the woman since this morning. After making sure Sania's car left the hospital, Reza rushed down. He ran to the elevator.
Previously, Reza tried as much as possible not to let go of the view wherever Sania went. From a safe distance, he watched the woman. She is shocked to see Sania meeting Andina near the emergency staircase. Unfortunately, he could not hear what the two women were talking about.
Reza reached the floor where Andina was being treated. Since he did not know Andina's ward, he checked every room.
“Who, yes?” A middle-aged woman interrupted Reza as she was about to open one of the doors.
“I want to find my friend, Bu.”
“Name?”
“Andina.”
“You're my son's friend?”
“Oh, is this Andina's mother? Hello, Auntie. My name is Reza.” Trying to look familiar, Reza reached out.
With a puzzled expression, Bu Rini welcomed Reza's helping hand.
Reza also met with Satrio. He was then brought in.
“Reza?” Andina sat down as soon as she saw the man she did not suspect would come standing at the door.
Reza smiled thinly.
“Ma, B. Please leave us. Something I want to talk to Reza.”
“But.” Ms. Rini was worried that the man she just met was doing evil to Andina.
“Take it easy, Ma. Reza is a good man. He won't do anything.”
Miss Rini nodded. He went out with Mr. Satrio.
After Bu Rini came out, Reza sat down on the bedside chair. “What's up? Why are you being treated? Akhyar where?”
“Akyar in another room. He's not conscious.”
“What happened? I saw Sania come here.”
“Sania hired thugs to intercept us last night. The thug stabbed Akhyar to such an injury. I don't know how bad the wound was. But, said the doctor his condition has started to stabilize.”
Reza scratched the back of his head. “You're sure Sania did this? Why didn't you call the police?”
“He himself told me earlier. Unfortunately, I don't have any evidence. If I had proof I'd throw that woman in jail.” Andina hit the bed with her clenched hand. “Oh yes, I have something to tell you. Not only Akhyar Sania's affair, there are still many other men. There are twenty more.”
Reza laughs. “Twenty? You kidding? It must be his favorite actor or singer Sania.”
“Not. That's cheating. He himself told me.”
