Forced to Marry My Maid's Son

Forced to Marry My Maid's Son
A Promise to Andina

Andina came forward with a big question mark on her face. Tires Dara's car? There was never such a small thought in his head. Although very angry with what Dara did for almost harming the baby in the womb and himself, he can still control it all.

However, Andina did not want to be gentle. He also did not want to grunt as usual.

“If you have proof that I fixed your car tires, show me. Do not just talk,” insisted Andina with eyes that pierced so sharp. “You see me. Before I got the evidence, I didn't hit anyone at all for what happened to me. So, don't just talk because you don't like my choice.”

Andina grabs Akhyar's wrist. He nudged Dara's arm as he passed the woman.

After arriving at the parking lot, Andina took off Akhyar's hand. He got into the car, then pulled his back. He pointed his face at the window with teary eyes. He tried not to cry. But he is not powerful. Her heart was crushed to receive a slap from one of the people closest to her all this time.

Akhyar didn't say anything. He understood Andina's feelings. He started the car and stepped on the gas. Drive slowly.

I don't know when Andina stopped crying. To be sure, Andina was sleeping when they reached the apartment parking lot. Akhyar thought for a moment, letting Andina stay asleep or waking her up. After weighing for a while, Akhyar decided to wake Andina up.

During his time with Andina, only Dara and Lani had ever seen Akhyar be close friends with her. Andina often went with other college friends, such as Monica. However, there must be Dara and Lani.

While getting out of the car, Akhyar thought of a way to distract Andina from the matter. He opened the car door, then slapped Andina's arm.

“Din, we have arrived,” he said.

Andina flinching. Still with closed eyes.

“Din.” Akhyar flapped Andina's arm even tighter.

Andina gasps. “What?”

“We have arrived. Come down.”

Andina looked around. He clucked, then rushed down. In his hand, he was still holding a book borrowed from the library earlier.

“Andina, are you tired?” asked Akhyar as they waited for the elevator to open.

Andina did not answer.

Akhyar's smile broadened. “You slept earlier. Come with me. Rather than languishing in the apartment, we better look for fresh air.”

Andina is still sculpting.

“Ayo.” Akhyar grabbed Andina's hand. “Not good for pregnant women if stress continues.”

Akhyar opens the car door for Andina. He took Andina to the park. There are not too many people in the park.

“We sit on the steps near the pool!” point Akhyar to the steps that are like stairs.

Akhyar and Andina sat while staring at the fountain. Akhyar took a deep breath. He threw it away so hard that the person there looked over.

“What are you doing?” Andina slapped Akhyar's arm. “Thy know! Everyone so look here.”

“I know you're a smart man. So, you should already understand what to do there.”

Akhyar quickly shook his head. “It's too hard. I don't understand. I feel so wrong. Do you know what happened at the office? Everybody's talking about me. They think I got that job now for being your husband.”

“Crue, ‘kan?”

“Oh, yes. It's true, I forgot. I mean, that job was given to me for marrying you. But I have absolutely no intention of having that job. One more thing, I just realized that they're just jealous. They're jealous of me being a manager faster than those who've worked for years.”

Andina turned to Akhyar with a frown.

“Life is often unfair. Those who work hard to get attention from Mr. Satrio, but instead I get the position they are seeking. Funny, as well as slicing,” said Akhyar while laughing.

The gust of wind made a little fragment of the problem that Andina was facing fly by. The fragments of the problem then mingled with the fountain that fell into the pond and some fell into the grass.

“I have never been here before,” Andina said, putting the bag that had been placed on the thigh since.

“Iya. I was here for the first time too. If you are aware, since until then, we follow the couple.” Akhyar pointed to a woman and a man wearing red clothes. The couple sat not far from them.

 “Serious?”

“Iya. There are a lot of places I haven't visited in this city. Unfortunately, I didn't have a chance to relax. I would love to visit many places. Not just in this city, but all the good places. Out of town or even out of the country. Must be fun.”

“Are you going on holiday alone? If it were alone, it wouldn't be fun. You'll even be lonely. Everyone who wants to take photos, has to ask others for help. No one to chat with.”

Akhyar glanced at the sky. “I wish there was someone with me when I did have the chance to vacation in those nice places.”

“I'm sure you can. You were bound to me for no more than a year. After that, you can go anywhere.”

“That's not what I mean. I'm talking like this so you can remember, it's not a bad thing by itself. You can go through anything. There are many things you can do on your own, although being with someone may be more fun. You can practice first. While I'm still here. I'll help you. Regarding Dara, one day she would understand. This is not your wish. You have to do this. And, I'm sure Ronal will also understand when you explain it later.”

Andina's eyes glazed over. He looked up so his tears wouldn't fall.

“I'll help you explain to him later. I'll make sure he takes you back. I promise.”

Andina laughed as if what Akhyar said was a joke. “Do not make me wish. I easily depend on others.”

“Yes, actually you've been troubling me since our wedding. So, what's the problem you're troubling me for a few more months?”

“So, are you glad I troubled you? Strange people.”

Akhyar tilted her lips. “Looks like I'm getting opium with all your weird requests. Martabak in heavy rain, early morning capcai, I don't know what else yesterday. I forgot.”

Andina laughs. “Wait for something even stranger. You said you liked me so much. Don't pull those words."

Akhyar. “I always keep my word.”
