Akhyar's honesty

Since yesterday's incident, Akhyar has always placed a mobile phone nearby. Even though the phone did not sound, Akhyar kept checking. Worry there's a chat from Andina.

Until noon, Akhyar felt calm because his phone did not ring. He can work casually. However, just now he felt that there would be no terror coming to Andina, suddenly his phone rang.

Akhyar's heart immediately beat fast, hearing Andina's voice trembling in fear. Her chest was getting up and down as soon as she found out Andina was under threat of murder.

After the conversation with Andina ended, Akhyar rushed out of the office. He did not go straight to the apartment. He's headed for campus. There's no point in going to the apartment now. Terror will continue to come to Andina the next day. He must end this terror. And, the only way is to overcome the source of terror.

Akhyar did not find the person he was looking for on campus. Akhyar decided to call the guy. Fortunately, the phone was picked up.

“Sania, where are you? I want to say something,” Akhyar said.

“I'm at the restaurant where you ended our relationship.”

“OK. I'll be there.”

Akhyar ran to the parking lot. He drove his motorcycle to the restaurant where he worked first.

Arriving at the restaurant, several former colleagues first approached. However, Akhyar has no time to serve them now. He has more important business.

Akhyar sat on a chair opposite Sania. The woman nodded with a big smile.

“What do you eat? I bought it,” said Sania.

“Nease, San.” Akhyar held his chest. His heart felt like it was going to explode in a hurry. Sweat drenched his temples and his body. “Stop all of this.”

Sania put a knife and fork in her hand. He then grabbed a glass. While smiling, sip lemon tea until half a glass is left.

“What should I stop?”

“I know you're terrorizing Andina. Please stop this. I told you about our wedding.”

Sania laughs. “News about your wedding? Why should I listen to the wedding story of you two? Is this story very romantic?”

“You must listen because our marriage is a charade. Our marriage was a lie. There is a letter of agreement in the middle of our marriage.”

Sania froze up. He did not blink as if Akhyar's honesty had stopped time.

“Wedding theatricality?” sania said after a while. He blinked a few times, making sure he didn't hear wrong. “You mean, you guys aren't really married?”

“We did get married in front of Penghulu. But, behind it all, there was a letter of agreement that we signed. Our marriage will end after Andina gives birth.”

Sania raised both her hands for Akhyar to stop talking. It takes time to digest all of this. Sipped back lemon tea to toilet.

“You're going to divorce Andina after she gives birth? Wh why? Your marriage is not sanctioned by Andina's parents?”

“Not? But, because I'm not the father of that baby. Andina and I have never had sex.”

“If it wasn't you, it's whose son?”

“Ronald. That's Ronald.”'s son

Sania shakes. “You said this so I wouldn't terrorize Andina, ‘ right? You deliberately lied to me so that I would stop bothering Andina.”

“I said honestly. His father's company is in financial trouble. Mr. Satrio also has a very large debt because he was tricked by his own best friend. Ronal's parents offered to help on condition that Andina would not interfere with Ronald until graduation. In order for Andina not to become a gossip of the people, I had to marry her.”

“What kind of conditions are those? Then, why should you marry Andina? You want to be heroic.”

“Utang budi.” Sania's eyes were glazed. After his suffering of the past few days, he found another glimmer of hope. “What is all this right? You married Andina not because you don't love me anymore? But, to repay that debt?”

Without hesitation, Akhyar nodded.

Sania stood up from her chair. He slid into Akhyar's arms.

“Then we can be together again. I'll wait for you to divorce Andina. I'll be patient waiting for you.”

Akhyar could feel Sania's tears on her neck. However, he hesitated to return the hug. Other than because of the restaurant visitors staring at them now, there was a sense that was in Akhyar's heart. He felt nothing more for Sania. The love that he had been struggling to grow since they dated, now there was not a bit left.

Akhyar locked his mouth. He doesn't want to make Sania angry anymore. If Andina doesn't get terror again, she will. He will do another play so that Andina can go through the pregnancy calmly.

“Then, you will stop terrorizing Andina, ‘right? Because if something happens to the content, the favor I do will have no meaning.”

Sania took off her embrace. He sat back. With a big smile he nodded steadily. “I won't bother Andina again. I will wait patiently for you.”

“One more, San. Don't tell anyone this, yeah. I beg.”

“Iya. I'm not gonna tell anyone. But, you accompany me to watch Sunday night.”

Although lazy, Akhyar still nodded. “I will accompany you watch any movie.”

Sania's smile grew wider.

Akhyar then left Sania. He said there are still many jobs in the office. However, Akhyar did not return to the office. He went back to the apartment.

Akhyar tried as quickly as possible to get there. He even grabbed the elevator until some people grumbled.

Arriving at the door, he knocked. “Din, it's me!”

Door opens. Andina slammed into his arms. Andina's crying broke. The woman drowned her face in her chest.

“I'm really scared. That man threatened to kill me. He's going to kill me.”

“That's not going to happen. Let's go in first.”

Akhyar took Andina in and sat the woman on the sofa. Akhyar continued to pat Andina's hand-held hand tightly.

“The person who terrorized you is not Dara, but Sania.”

Andina took off her grip. “Not possible. Sania does not know about this apartment.”

“He must have found out this apartment through Dara. Or he's got people following me. But, you take it easy. He won't terrorize you anymore.”

“Why? He terrorized me because you married me, ‘kan? Why did he suddenly stop?”

“I've told him about our marriage to him.”

“What?” Andina stand.

Akhyar stood up. He took both hands of Andina. “I have no other way. I remember Miko. I'm afraid Sania is also doing desperate things when I'm not next to you. I'm sorry, Din. I don't know how to stop all this anymore. This is the only way I thought.”

Andina fell silent. Eyes glazed. Now, Sania already knew the secret. I don't know who else will find out. Those people will laugh at him. Laughing at his misfortune.
