Clara is now squeezing her bag nervously. Now it was exactly seven in the evening, and almost a week he and Jack planned this dinner and it was finally done. Clara can look out the window, and Tiffany and Philip's car are parked. Winter never stops making anyone more struggling to warm themselves.

Clara sees Tiffany coming out of the car with her belly inflated, and she should have opposed Jack to meeting her at a time like this. However, Tiffany is pregnant, she is afraid that Tiffany will have excessive stress.

Today is exactly where he and Jack scheduled to meet Tiffany. Jack decided to go to Tiffany and apologize to her. For Jack, Tiffany is part of Clara. And he wants to finish everything well.

“Tiff!”

Clara shouted and waved her hand. Seeing his best friend who had arrived, Tiffany approached him and saw Philip following the girl. If Tiffany finds out Jack's going to see her, will Philip get mad at her too? Look how Philip's been protecting Tiffany since they got married. Then it was likely that Philip would be furious if Tiffany was distracted. And all he feared would be a dispute between Jack and Philip.

“How's your condition, Tiff?”

Clara started sipping her hot cappucino, trying to cover up all her nervousness. He is not very good at lying. Tiffany who did not see Clara's nervousness just smiled and put her bag on the sofa cafe.

“Good, Chal. My baby is growing healthy.”

Tiffany said with her eye smile. Clara was now looking at Philip, Philip was seen looking at Tiffany with an expanding smile. Even just by looking at Philip's gaze, Clara could guess how much Philip loved his best friend.

“Tiff, there's actually something I want to tell you.”

Tiffany's smile instantly disappeared upon hearing Clara's words. Tiffany looked at him confusedly, Clara just swallowed the saliva. I don't know where to start this. Philip now looked at him, the quiet man also looked quite curious.

"I'm sorry about Tiff before, I don't want you to be mad at me." Seeing Clara's worried look at him, Tiffany now smiled.

"You should know, I can't even be mad at you, Chal."

Tiffany now started laughing, but Clara still looked at him nervously. Tiffany now stopped her laughter and looked at Clara seriously. Seeing how Clara reacted to her jokes, Tiffany knew that the girl was not playing around.

“I'm getting married to Jack, he met me a few days ago.”

Clara could clearly see the surprised expression on her best friend's face, before Tiffany reacted further. A man was sitting on the sofa next to Clara. Tiffany's shocked face had now turned into anger.

Now in front of him sits Jack Hilton, the man who killed his cousin. The man who could even escape punishment for three years and even foolishly the judge only decided one year of his imprisonment after he killed someone.

“Did you meet me for this, Chal?!”

Tiffany looked at Clara. She was actually fed up with Clara's questions about Jack's condition, but she covered it up. But now his best friend even met someone he hated the most.

“Tiff, I'm sorry. Regarding Shawn, I'm sorry about you. I don't know how to apologize to you if it's not through Clara.”

Seeing Jack's look of regret, Tiffany simply clucked. This guy just apologized after everything was revealed, and if forever all this is not revealed. This jerk is gonna keep his mouth shut.

“I'm disappointed in you Chal, I'm disappointed.”

“Tiff, I'm sorry. I'm just-“

“This has nothing to do with Clara, Tiff. I forced her to plan dinner tonight.” Said Jack and stared at Tiffany intensely. Tiffany smiled cynically, even these lovers started to defend each other.

“Even after what this man did to you and you still want to marry him? You've lost your sanity, Chal!”

Tiffany said and looked at Clara in disbelief. Tiffany still vividly remembers some bruises on Clara's body at the time. Even just looking at it made him regret not being able to protect Clara well.

“He's the father of my son Tiff, and. and I love him so much.”

Clara said and looked at Tiffany. Tiffany was silent at Clara's words. Clara was right, she had no right to separate a child from her father. But behind all his hatred for Jack because of Shawn. He is also so afraid that Clara will be hurt again by Jack. Deep down, he just wanted to protect his best friend. Jack is a monster. And he didn't want Clara with him.

“I know, I know my prison term may seem unfair to you. But don't I feel the punishment for everything I do, Tiff? I just want to live my life better.” Jack said and looked at Tiffany with regret.

“You only feel one year's imprisonment, Jack. But Shawn can't even go back forever! And you can still say it's a punishment?!”

Tiffany now began to raise her tone, she stared intently at Jack. All the emotions that he had been holding on to seemed to just come out. The injustice Shawn felt as if he was suffocating his chest. He was all right because he still looked at Clara, but not today. He was even so disappointed in his friend.

“Tiff, sorry. I'm sorry.”

Jack pleaded. He really didn't know how to make Tiffany forgive him. He just wants to live his life in peace. Without all the painful past. He just wants to live happily with Clara and her daughter.

“Why don't you just rot in jail, Jack?"

“Tiffany!”

Both Tiffany and Clara were shocked to hear the scream. The two women were now staring at a man who had just been silent listening. Philip now looked at Tiffany with anger. Tiffany swallowed her saliva, what exactly happened to all of this?

“Jaga your speech.”

Philip said, Tiffany only looked at her husband with a look of disbelief. Shouldn't Philip be defending him in this kind of situation? Tiffany looked at Philip in disappointment.

“You?! Are you willing to cooperate with them?!”

Tiffany now begins to appoint Philip. Philip was silent, as if he did not know what to say. Tiffany clucked in annoyance. He doesn't know if Clara even contacted Philip about this. He is desperate now, he is alone now.

“I'm disappointed in you Phil! I'm disappointed.”

Tiffany decided to leave the cafe. Clara just looked at her best friend with worry, while Philip was seen clucking. Sometimes his wife is so stubborn.

“Steve, I think you should go after him.” Jack looked at his best friend, Philip Stevenson.
