THE ESCAPED BRIDE ESCAPED

THE ESCAPED BRIDE ESCAPED
83. Thank You God

"He was born less months" said the sad mom. "You were bad at the time. The doctor operated on you so you two could survive."

Aya watched her tiny baby. An infusion hose on his hand and a milk hose were attached to the corner of his lips, making his heart cry. But his head hurt too much to keep coming closer. Both of his hands held his head and whimpered. "sickness ...."

"What's wrong? Where's the pain?" Arjuna grabbed the body of his wife who was about to fall, quickly. Then he was carried and laid on the bed.

"What happened?" mami was very worried.

The nurse who was guarding the baby immediately approached and examined her. "It's better to call the doctor right away" he suggested. Aya held her head even stronger and started moaning in pain.

Arjuna immediately called the doctor who last treated him.

"After the evaluation, it seems like Bu Aya started to remember some things. It was just that the memories came simultaneously. It makes his head hurt. I have given pain relief and do not need to force him to remember all things at one time. Let him remember everything naturally, yeah." The doctor gave long advice to Arjuna as well as Mami.

"Oh, thank God he's starting to remember us. We won't force her" promised my happy mother.

"alright. Let Ms. Aya rest for a while and see again the development after waking up later. If something very worrying happens, call me again." The doctor resigned.

"Well, thank you, Doc." Papi takes the doctor outside the house.

Arjuna went straight into Aya's room. His wife was sleeping restlessly there. The baby was also agitated with small whimpers.

"Your inner strength is very strong, huh?" he chanted with a smile and rubbed his little fingers.

In the afternoon, Mami entered Aya's room, watching Arjuna sleep while hugging Aya. He smiled and closed the door slowly.

"Why come out again?" ask papi.

"Sst! They're sleeping. Don't disturb!" Mami pulls the hand of papi so as not to disturb the sleep of the child and his daughter-in-law.

That evening, mami was finished with Aya's favorite fruit. He brought the fruit plate up, hoping that the two husbands and wives had woken up.

After knocking on the door slowly and hearing Arjuna's voice, Mami entered with a bright face. He saw Aya and Arjuna still blinked their eyes in confusion.

"Did mommy wake you up?" asked the paroh-aged woman with a regretful expression.

"Not really." Arjuna got up and sat down. Aya followed, then sat away slightly from Arjuna. His face turned red and behaved awkwardly.

"All right then." Mommy comes in and puts the fruit plates on the table.

"Sir, mami make your favorite food!" said.

Aya nodded with a smile. "Thank you, Mi."

He stepped towards the baby box, as Papi and his sister and brother-in-law came in. They were glad Aya didn't feel any pain anymore.

"Is she a little girl or a little whiz?" tanyanya wants to know.

"He's a little whiz. He won't give up and waits for you to say hello" Arjuna's voice behind shocked Aya. He turned around and saw the man smiling gently.

"Did I surprise you?" still with the same soft voice. Arjuna was very careful so that Aya was not surprised which might trigger a headache in her head again.

Aya was stunned in disbelief. "Since when has this gluttonous and ignorant man been gentle?" thought.

"What's up, Ma'am?" the voice of her sister-in-law, distracts Aya again.

He saw the whole family watching with worry on him. "Have I made you all worry?" ask Aya while looking down.

"No. You can come back in our midst, I'm very grateful. There's nothing to worry about anymore." Arjuna hugged his wife's back, trying to reassure her.

Mami shrunk the water that fell in the corner of her eyes. Papi hugged her with affection. "It looks like our daughter is back" he said softly. Nod the mami's head on the chest, making papi smile.

"Mom De, Bude won't go far anymore, will he?" greet his nephew while hugging Aya.

Arjuna took off his embrace and let Aya crouch down to hug the little girl.

"Bu De won't go again," Aya smiled. Mami hugged Aya and her granddaughter.

Papi sat on the bed. "Your husband has done a lot of things, sacrificing a lot of time, effort, and cost in order to find you. That is the proof of his love and protection. You have to appreciate that" papi said.

Aya just shut up. He saw another baby in the box. "Has he been given a name?" tanyanya diverted attention. Aya is uncomfortable if you have to discuss Arjuna. Although the man looks changed, but Aya is still not used to him.

"Yet. You can give him the name you want." Arjuna answered quickly. She realized that her baby had not yet been named.

"The man let him live, thinking he was the son of God. Is it okay if I give him the name of a god?" ask Aya.

Arjuna. She did not expect Aya to use that name. But he quickly nodded. "I agree."

"really?" this time Radit who does not believe Arjuna will let his son be named God. A name that will continue to remind both of Gayatri's first husband.

"Why indeed? Isn't that a good name?" Arjuna shrugged his shoulders as if he did not know what his sister-in-law's question meant.

"thank you. I'm so happy." Aya kissed Arjuna's cheek and immediately saw the baby.

The lightning roar made Arjuna stupefied for a moment. The rubbing of the cheek that Aya had just smitten. Then a smile spread across his face. The young man was very happy.

"Your name is now a God," Aya said with a happy expression. He did not realize how Radit was holding back from laughing at Arjuna who was like a woman he had just kissed for the first time.

At the dinner table, one family sat down to eat the dish happily. The servants were also happy, as their mistress was already able to come down and eat together.

"Sir, tomorrow is Monday. So we're going home. Does that not matter?" ask papi.

"Mommy just stay here," prevent Aya.

"Mommy's been guarding Mbak here for days. The house without Mommy is deserted. It feels weird." Radit.

"Radit's right. Let me rest for a while at home" Arjuna said.

"Mami's not tired, really." refute mami fast.

"Ciahh .. mami doesn't understand either" Radit shook his head.

"Eyang Uti should go home!" Princess Radit pouted.

"He said he missed sleeping with Mami" Radit's wife said.

"Oh, sweetness. Alright ... Eyang Uti's home. Do you really want to sleep with everyone?" tanyanya happy.

"Now my family is home. The nurse was not in the room. You can take that pretense off.

"Pretend what?" ask Arjuna confused. He was preparing to get into bed to rest.

"Your goodness is fake!" ketus Aya's. Then his eyebrows furrowed. Saw Arjuna pull the blanket.

"Who let you sleep there?" said fierce.

"Where am I sleeping?" Arjuna was completely confused. Aya's memory returned along with all of her ketus attitude as well.

"You can sleep in your room, or on that long couch!" Aya is still acting tough.

"All right, Madam." Arjuna moved to the sofa and patted the pillow. He soon slept well.

On the bed, Aya was speechless watching the man who was no longer replying to her words as he used to.

"He has changed. Do I have to change for the better?" muttered Aya. The baby box. There was a little God who united their differences. Her lips covered a happy smile, before pulling the blanket and going to bed.

"Thank you, God," he said, closing his eyes.
