THE ESCAPED BRIDE ESCAPED

THE ESCAPED BRIDE ESCAPED
77. Baby Arjuna!

"Say!"

A long piece of wood landed on the back of a man. He was tortured, for remaining silent, unwilling to say where Robert Giles was.

"You're gonna end up like your friends!"

The tormented person pointed towards the floor. Three of his friends passed out there. They had fainted after being tortured continuously since being brought from hiding.

A man entered, calling out to the man who was torturing. The man approached. They chatted for a while and then the man nodded and went back to the captive he had tortured.

"If you still don't want to tell me where Robert is, then this woman will die without anyone making up for it!" The man pulls the head of his captive and shows a picture of a helpless Sandra somewhere.

Although his face was dumbfounded, the man could still recognize Sandra whose condition was no less terrible. "Sandra," he said.

Then he shook his head and chuckled sisnis. "You have provoked the Angel of Death, by disturbing the woman."

Then he laughed out loud, laughing at the stupidity of the person holding Sandra.

"No need to look for you. He's the one who's gonna come find and kill you all!" he said confidently.

Exasperatedly, the wooden slats that were used earlier, floated back and silenced the man's ravings. He ended up fainting with blood pouring down his forehead.

The guards reported to Arjuna what their captives had said.

"A very high self-confidence. In fact, until now, no one knew that Sandra was under my control. You idiot!" furious Arjuna.

It was late at night, his body was very tired. He wanted to sleep in Aya's room while looking after her.

While lying down, he saw Aya sleeping uneasily. Arjuna got up from the long bench and lay down next to Aya.

"I'm here to take care of you, don't worry anymore" she whispered softly, hugging Aya from behind.

Slowly Aya's anxiety disappeared. He calmed down and the two slept well until morning.

"Baby equipment's arrived, boss. Want to be sent straight to the house or what?" asked Luna while Arjuna was having breakfast.

"Take it home. If it's installed, I'll take the baby home" Arjuna ordered.

"Good, Boss. Oh yeah, did you go to the office today? There's an appointment later this afternoon." Luna reminded.

"Alright, set the meeting up for lunch." Arjuna broke off their conversation, when he saw that his mother-in-law had arrived.

"How was Aya last night?" he still asked with an anxious face.

"It's okay. Maybe start to feel comfortable and recognize this house," replied Arjuna. She didn't want to add to her in-laws' anxiety by saying Aya's unease last night.

"Good then." Bu Ajeng was calm.

"Oh yes, Mom. Equipments. The baby will come today. Maybe in the afternoon, your granddaughter can be brought home." Arjuna reported the exciting news with a smile.

"Oh .. thank goodness. What an immeasurable happiness today. Thank you, Arjuna." Bu Ajeng patted his daughter-in-law's shoulder and headed up the stairs to the top floor.

"Mommy wants to see Aya first" he said without looking.

That morning Arjuna took care of the baby's return permit. Go to the office to work.

A quiet day without drama. In the afternoon, the little baby was brought home. Arjuna hires a baby nurse that the pediatrician advises.

"Well, my grandson has come." Bu Ajeng was very excited. That afternoon baby equipment had arrived and was arranged in Aya's room.

The frail baby was immediately placed on a special bed that Arjuna ordered. The nurse was very quick and thorough.

Hearing the baby's crying voice, Aya responded. He turned to a special bed that was placed close to the wall.

"Baby," she shrieked while stroking the stomach. Face sad.

"Yes, that's your baby. Grandson Mami," said Bu Ajeng as he placed a hand on his chest.

It's just, Aya doesn't seem to understand. Arjuna did not force his wife to understand. He believed. If you feel safe and comfortable at home, then Aya's memory will recover.

Bu Ajeng sat next to Aya by the bedside. His hand was rubbed in his daughter's stomach.

"The baby is here, now it's there." Bu Ajeng pointed to the baby bed.

"You want to see your baby, Nduk?" ask mami seriously.

Aya stand. "See." The woman immediately walked there. The baby nurse finally waited and prepared in case something unexpected happened.

"My baby?" said Aya with a question tone.

"Yes, that baby right here," pointed the mother to Aya's stomach. "Now sleep there!" mami is serious.

Aya looked at the tiny baby deeply. Like believing that a cute creature belongs to him.

"He's not a baby god!" aya's voice sounded sniffling.

Mami who did not understand the meaning of her daughter's words, so astonished and asked. "What do you mean by baby God?"

"He's not a baby god!" Aya's eyes looked at the fierce mami.

"Lau, why? Whose baby is he? Does it belong to your kidnapper?"

Mami's lips trembled in horror at the response that would slide from her daughter's lips. In front of them, there was Arjuna who was fixated on seeing Aya's attitude.

"No! He's Arjuna's fucking baby!" aya screams furiously.

Mami who previously held her breath, afraid to hear Aya's answer, finally massaged the chest of relief "Oh Lord, thank God. Or my heart could be dislodged if it wasn't my daughter-in-law's baby."

However, Arjuna saw Aya's confession from another point of view. Aya was able to communicate with her mother-in-law. That is, now he is connected enough to talk to. His wife can also remember her kidnapper. That's a big step for Arjuna.

"Did Robert Giles hurt you there?" the question was gentle, trying not to surprise Aya.
