THE ESCAPED BRIDE ESCAPED
50. Arjuna's Regret

In his office, Arjuna hits the table in annoyance. He regretted doing bad things to Aya last night. Now, his wife is getting tighter and more irritating.

"Luna, come!" call Arjuna through the intercom.

"Okay, Boss," said Luna. The girl quickly snatched the tablet to take down Arjuna's orders.

"Sit down!" praech Arjuna after seeing his secretary come in.

"Good, Boss." The secretary sat down and prepared himself. It seems that there will be orders or other work to be done.

"What task, Boss?" ask Luna to know.

Ajuna leaned his body on the back of the chair. "Try you to tell me, how do you apologize to a woman? All you can guarantee is that he'll forgive me!"

Luna was surprised to hear Arjuna say. "What, Boss?" tanyanya confusion.

"Didn't you listen to me talk?" annoyed Arjuna with bulging eyes.

"G ... It's not so, Boss. But that wasn't the office, was it?" repeat Luna.

"If you don't have the answer, get out there!" ketus Arjuna's.

"I'm calling you, because you're a woman, too. You probably know. But yeah ... It's free!" Arjuna moved his finger, telling Luna to come out.

Luna stood up and walked while thinking. Then he stopped in the doorway and turned to face Arjuna.

"Women just need sincerity, boss. Included in apology. Sincerity cannot be said or represented on one thing. It can only be proven by attitude and must be testable by time."

Arjuna looked at her with a confused look.

"That's the quote I read on the internet. Not my words, perhaps the conclusion of the experts of love. Hope you can help, boss!" Luna came out and closed the door of Arjuna's room with a small smile.

Arjuna gritted his teeth in annoyance at Luna's attitude. Not to help, but to suck it up.

"Women everywhere are the same! Where there are women who do not like jewelry or money, even luxury cars!" he said he couldn't believe it.

Until a while later, Arjuna was still glued to his desk. "Sincerity is attested by attitude and time-tested" he said repeatedly, trying to make sense of the words.

Cellphone ringing. Arjuna looked at it and picked it up quickly. "Is it done?" tanyakanya.

"Already, Boss. I'll drop you off at the office soon" said the voice from across.

"okay!"

Arjuna's face returned radiantly. "Finally ...."

He sure has found a way to conquer and prove his sincerity to Gayatri. And optimistic this way will succeed in convincing his wife of his sincerity to marry the girl.

His phone rings again. See the name of the caller. Then pick up the phone with an unhappy face that is not covered.

"Don't I tell you I don't want you! Don't bother me anymore!" Arjuna's voice was rising. The phone call made her mood go back bad.

"Anxuating!" snarl. He stood up and grabbed the suit on the back of the chair, then walked out while slamming the door of the room.

Luna was shocked to hear another slam of the door she had not heard since Gayatri quit her job.

"Boss, there's someone you should meet in two hours!" Luna chased after Arjuna who walked with long steps.

"Reschedule!" arjuna replied that he did not care.

"Can't, Boss! It's investor!" Luna reminded, with a serious face mimic.

Arjuna's steps came to a halt.Luna stared at him with piercing sharp eyes. "How much is he investing here?" tanyakanya.

"Newly will invest, Boss. Renca-"

"That means he doesn't have me yet! I don't owe him anything!" cut Arjuna.

"This investor that the Lord sought until the last time!" Luna's voice shrieked as she said that. His head was sad.

The girl was indeed sad, if you remember how hard God tried to hook this potential investor. And believe that their company will get bigger after the new business field is serious. But the nice guy and yley were leaving too soon, making everything fall apart.

Seeing that, Arjuna stopped arguing. Cellphone's on. "Yes" he said quickly. Her sour face was still unsightly.

"Yes, I'm upstairs. Just up!" said again. Without saying anything else, the man returned to his room again. Luna was relieved to see Arjuna cancel his plans out of the office that afternoon.

"Excite, Luna. You must have many new tricks to conquer the Boss's rigid demeanor," he muttered with a smile and returned to his desk.

Two men in black came with bags. Soon Luna was escorted to Arjuna's room and left them there to talk about unknown matters.

"Good!" Arjuna holds his marriage book and Gayatri is taken care of by a lawyer.

"I hope it'll be a nice surprise for him. May he believe that I am serious" he murmured optimistically.

That day Arjuna passed with confidence. He was optimistic Gayatri could be pinned down, just as God had conquered the girl.

"Our weekend is out of town, yeah."

The message was sent to Gayatri. He had repeatedly compartmentalized the sequence of words so as not to seem arrogant anymore.

"I'm going to mom's house!" aya's rejection message came in immediately.

"Well, I'll take you," Arjuna replied.

His face immediately pouted at the message from Aya who had dashed his hopes so quickly.

"It's impossible he wasn't taught manners." Arjuna's regret is back. The mood is gone again.

"Boss, the investor has arrived" Luna told the intercom.

"good. I'll go out and greet him."

"This is just out of respect for your efforts, God. But I will still reevaluate the business plan you guys talked about!" Arjuna.

*****

At home, Aya eats dinner alone. Arjuna still hasn't come home. But he doesn't care at all. The room looks clean and tidy. Heart relieved.

Arjuna came home and saw his wife already asleep in the room with a novel book falling next to her. Carefully turn off the reading light on the bed. She placed a marriage book belonging to Aya on the nightstand with a smile.

"Good sleep, my wife, beautiful dream," she said before closing the door slowly.

After some time, Gayatri's eyes opened in the darkness. The book she had read was placed on the table. Then his attention was fixed on the thin little book beside him.

"He really took care of this marriage book as soon as possible," said Aya.

"To ensnare me, or ...."

Aya did not continue her thinking. The footsteps of Arjuna who walked closer to the connecting door sounded faintly. Segesit kijang, Aya back pretending to sleep.

Unexpectedly, Arjuna actually came with a pillow, then slept on the long sofa of Aya's room.

"Will he come back to find a chance tonight?" thought Aya was worried. The experience was still painful for him.

Terrible shadow, making his sleep unsettled and restless.

"Abuehhhh ...!" At midnight, Aya's loud screams were heard again in the mansion.
