52. Gayatri Kidnapping

Aya moved and kicked the person who tried to subdue her.

"Plakkk!"

A loud slap landed on his cheek after that. Make him stagger back and fall flat.

Tie his hands and feet!" command one of the two men who were there. He was the man who had just slapped Aya after getting a kick in the stomach.

"Don't think I don't dare kill you, if you're acting like shit!" threaten him while pointing a dagger in front of Gayatri's face.

Aya could not say anything, because her mouth had already been gagged with cloth. He did not know the voices of the two men. "What do they want? Kidnap me for ransom?"

His body was shaken to and fro on the floor of the car, for over an hour. Aya guessed, she was taken out of town.

"Boss, Madam has not been out of the Supermarket for half an hour" the driver reported to Arjuna.

"Let her shop until she's satisfied. Do you think I can't afford anything he wants to buy?" Ketus Arjuna answer, make the driver shake his head.

"Not that, Boss. Madam said she only wanted to buy fruits to take to her parents' place. It's impossible to buy fruit this long!" add the driver again.

"You can just look at the supermarket. Find him first. After that report to me!" Arjuna.

"Good, Boss!"

After the phone was cut off, Arjuna was still thinking about his driver's report. His worries began to rise. It is impossible to buy fruit until after hours have not returned.

"Or, he forgot that he left earlier with a driver, then took a taxi himself?" dugup.

With that assumption, his finger immediately pressed the phone number of Mr. Sangaji, his father-in-law.

"Well, how's my daughter-in-law calling in her honeymoon?" the sound of the crisp laughter of Mr. Sangaji was heard from across there.

"Is Dad home?" ask Arjuna in a flat tone. Not at all responding to the joke of the middle-aged man

"Did Aya get there?" ask Arjuna frankly.

I heard a little bit of noise from across the phone. It seems that Mr. Sangaji is asking about Gayatri.

"Your wife is not here. Did he say he wanted to come here?" Sangaji asked back.

"So the driver was going to drive there. But Aya stopped by to buy fruit at a supermarket near the house. For half an hour, not back. The driver reported to me.

"A half an hour ago? Is it possible that he went to the God's apartment? He sometimes goes there when he's thinking a lot." Mama spoke up.

"Well, I'll follow you there," Arjuna broke up. The phone call was immediately switched off.

"Why did he go there again? Is that how he loves my sister? Or a sense of regret for not giving what is rightfully God?"

His mind was guessing. But he immediately pulled out a car and drove into the God's apartment.

On the way, the driver again reported that Aya was not found. But he saw a bag filled with apples and oranges falling on the parking floor near the Supermarket entrance.

Hearing that, Arjuna's mind was no longer as calm as before. "Try asking the supermarket security and have a look at the cctv footage they've got!" his orders.

Impatiently, Arjuna increased the speed of the car to get to the God's apartment soon. "I wish you were right there!" the man muttered worriedly.

"Yes! Are you here?" call him as soon as he comes in. Only silence greeted him.

I can't wait to see the little apartment that has only one bedroom. Aya was not found. His heart was getting anxious now.

"Have you found anything?" He was impatient when a call from the driver appeared on his phone screen.

"I've seen a video in the parking lot where a shopping bag fell." The driver explained in detail what he saw to Arjuna.

"So, he was seen coming out with a shopping bag. However, as he was heading to the car park, a van stopped in front of him. Then he disappeared?" Arjuna repeated the driver's explanation.

"really. That's what it looks like in the cctv." the driver confirmed.

"Can a cctv record the license plate of that car?" arjuna.

"This is what we're looking for. Search for cctv when the car is in or out!" answer driver.

"Good, continue. I'll follow you there!" Arjuna.

"What's really going on? Who kidnapped Aya?" thought astonishment.

Later that night, Arjuna reported Gayatri's loss to the police. Accompanied by evidence of cctv recording in the supermarket parking lot, Arjuna hopes Aya can be found soon.

The news finally reached the ears of Aya's extended family. Mami even fainted hearing Aya was missing while fruit shopping at their supermarket.

"Your trials are endless, Nduk." Papi shrank the tears that pooled in his eye pelupuk.

"Just be happy, there's been another accident that greeted. My God, what was my fault, until my daughter fared like this?" his mind with an unspeakable feeling of anxiety.

Arjuna and Papi talk about the possibility of their business enemy kidnapping Aya, in order to pressure the project they proposed to get away with it easily.

Arjuna is not sure if any investors working with him will want to kidnap Aya for a business deal!

"Did Aya have a big enemy?" ask Arjuna carefully.

After the mess with his wife, Mr. Sangaji said that Aya is a very good person, so it is impossible to be hated by someone to want to kidnap him.

"Or maybe an enemy at work?" guess Sangaji sir.

Arjuna nodded for a moment. The hotel events that her coworkers are doing are still fresh in the man's memory.

"Are they that bad, so desperate as to kidnap Gayatri?" inner Arjuna.

Time pass. Until late at midnight, there was not a single bright spot of the existence of Gayatri.

On the way home, Arjuna saw the excitement of Sunday night in the city with a feeling of sadness that he did not understand.

At home, a lawyer was waiting for him to arrive. He made an appointment this afternoon.

Yes, lost! Kidnapped when people came home from shopping at the supermarket!" arjuna toilet.
