Chapter 40 Is Annoyed
Nara and Rendy stepped into the cafe while holding hands, everyone's attention was immediately drawn to the pair wearing matching clothes. They are surprised to see the two come together, especially tonight Nara looks so beautiful and charming with a collared dress Sabrina who shows off her smooth white shoulders and flawless makeup that makes her face like a doll.
From his seat Kenan and his other friends also noticed the arrival of the two men.
"That's Rendy and the cupu, right?" Ivan confirmed.
"Yes, right. Wow, what a beautiful little girl tonight!" praise Radit.
While Jessi was just staring at the two cynically, she was envious because Nara was the center of everyone's attention.
"That's Rendy's coming, I'm going there first." Han immediately left Kenan and approached Rendy.
Kenan just stared intently at the two, he did not expect Rendy would come with Nara. And what makes Kenan in disbelief, the woman who became his wife appeared so beautiful and elegant tonight.
Han approached Rendy and Nara as he reached out, "I don't think you're coming."
Rendy shook Han's hand, "Where might I not come. Happy birthday, yeah."
"Thank you," Han replied, then turned to look at Nara who was still groggy, "hi, you're so beautiful tonight."
Nara smiled stiffly, "Thank you. Happy birthday, yeah."
"Thank you, pretty."
"It's a gift from both of us." Rendy thrusting a small black box, Nara suddenly looked at Rendy, clearly she had no hand in the gift.
"Well, thank you, bro. Shouldn't bother bringing gifts." Han accepted the gift with pleasure.
Rendy just smiled in response to the words of her best friend.
"Then let's sit down!" bring Han.
Nara and Rendy tailed behind Han who was walking towards the table where Kenan was sitting while looking at them with dislike.
"You guys sit here, yeah!" pinta Han, she deliberately wants to see Kenan's reaction if she meets Rendy, because she suspects there is something between her two best friends.
Seeing Kenan, Nara pulls Rendy's hand, she doesn't want to be at the table with her husband.
But Rendy brought her lips closer to Nara's ears and whispered, "Disregard her! Just be ordinary!"
Kenan who saw that could only harden his jaw, again he was annoyed to see Rendy too close to Nara. Especially when he realized if the two joined hands, Kenan's emotions began to be provoked.
Rendy took off her grip and pulled out a chair for Nara, "Please sit down!"
Nara nervously and awkwardly sat on the chair that Rendy pulled for her right in front of Kenan who kept staring intently at her. Rendy then sat next to Nara with a short distance.
From a distance, Jessi, Ivan and Radit were also still watching them. And so do the other friends. Tonight Rendy and Nara seem to be in the spotlight.
A waiter came and served drinks and food in front of them.
"Please," Han said.
The atmosphere was quite awkward and tense, neither Kenan nor Rendy wanted to say hello let alone start a conversation. Kenan is actually already very upset, it feels like he's leaving here. But if it was him, his friends and everyone would be suspicious if he had a problem with Rendy. And the secret of his life with Nara is revealed now.
"So the rumor is true, right? You guys have a relationship? The proof is that you two came and put on a couple shirt again" Han said.
Rendy smiled as she glanced at Kenan, "Just pray! May one day we be a fool."
Nara spontaneously looked at Rendy, she was surprised to hear the young man's reply.
Realizing that Nara was watching her, Rendy turned her head and smiled sweetly at the woman. The two looked at each other for a moment, before Nara finally bowed in shame with a blushing face.
Kenan who saw the interaction of the two getting hotter, he clenched his hands tightly to hold back his rising emotions.
The event was running, while accompanied by music performed by the band of performers, everyone chatted and joked with each other. It is not a birthday event with a cake, balloons and happy birthday song, no candle blow or cake cut scenes. It's more like a reunion event as well as a farewell to Han. They were all free to enjoy the event in their way, because Han did conceptualize it that way.
Nara did not say much, since earlier she was more often downcast to avoid Kenan's sharp gaze that seemed to penetrate her, she also felt awkward because it had been a matter of attention. While Rendy is engrossed in chatting with Han and other friends who are now joining their table, including Jessi.
Every now and then Rendy looked at Nara and threw a warm smile. Kenan was really fed up with all that, but he tried to refrain from getting carried away by the emotions that had exploded in him.
"Are you Ok, Ken? Why just shut up?" jessi asked pretentiously because Kenan had not spoken at all.
"Hem." Kenan just cleared his throat without looking at Jessi, he was lazy to serve the woman.
Seeing Kenan's cold demeanor, Jessi felt annoyed, but she tried to calm down.
Because the night is getting late, the air is getting cooler, especially the air conditioning in the cafe is very much, Nara who is not used to feeling cold. He shook and snorted while hugging himself. Kenan continued to watch Nara, he knew she must be cold with a fairly open outfit like that.
Not sure what prompted Kenan, he then took his mobile phone and sent a message to Nara.

Rendy immediately reached into Nara's phone which she kept in her pants pocket, because the woman was not carrying a bag, so the phone was tucked away at her. He accidentally sees a message notification from Kenan on Nara's phone screen and looks at the woman.
"You cold?" ask Rendy.
Kenan gasps when he finds out his wife's phone is on Rendy.
"Yes, Ren. It's cold," on Nara.
"Then we go home!"
"But the show is not finished yet."
"It's okay, we go home first."
"What's up, Ren?" ask Han.
"Bro, I unplug first, huh? Nara was cold, sorry she had just healed sick," said Rendy, a little anxious.
"But, Ren. The show's not over yet, when you get home?" han protested, actually he still wanted to talk to Rendy and Kenan after this event was over.
"Sorry, Bro. Tomorrow I'll go to your house."
"Yes that's it." Han resigned.
Rendy pulls Nara's hand and holds her, Kenan who sees all of that bloodshed up.
"We go first." Rendy and Nara leave Kenan and everyone.
"I think Rendy loves the cupu." Jessi commented while looking at the departure of the two people.
"Yes, for a second he did not want to be far from the cupu," continued Ivan.
"Collect, his name is also kasmaran," Han said.
The talk of his friends made Kenan even more inflamed, he then moved from his seat and just stepped away, "I pull first!"
"By, Ken! Where are you going?" pekik Han wonder.
"Why?" ivan asked puzzledly and Han just shook his head.
