Suddenly Young Marriage

Suddenly Young Marriage
Chapter 23 Start Panic

Kenan opened his eyes after his tribe had gathered all together, this morning his body was fresher and he did not have a fever anymore. Kenan stretched his muscles, mostly lying down making his body feel stiff.

He then fingered the nightstand and picked up the mobile phone he had ignored since yesterday, dead, or rather he deliberately turned it off after his argument with Hendra two days ago and he decided to hang out in the cafeteria until dawn, until finally he got wind and fever.

Kenan turned on his phone, before long dozens of missed calls and five messages from Windy and his friends came in. He ignored the messages from Han and Jessi, he was more interested in opening the message from the mother.

"HOW ARE YOU, BABY? MOM IS SO WORRIED."

"YOU'VE EATEN AND TAKEN MEDICINE? HEALED QUICKLY, YES."

"YOU'RE GETTING BETTER? MOM TRY TO GET HOME SOON."

After reading Windy's three messages, Kenan rushed to contact her.

"Hello, Ma."

"Darling, Mama can finally talk to you! How are you doing now? You still have a fever?"

"I'm fine, really. Mama take it easy!" answer Kenan.

"Thank God then! Mama's really worried about you, you sure as hell ain't nobody taking care of."

Kenan was stunned, he remembered Nara who was considerate and took care of him during his illness.

"Darling, are you quiet?"

Kenan jerks.

"Eh, yes I had a drink earlier, Ma. My throat is dry" Kenan's pretext lies.

"Did that village cat trouble you? Did she act while Mama was gone?"

"No, Ma. He doesn't bother me, really."

"Good, if he's messing around, tell Mama."

"Yes, Ma. Yeah, I took a shower. Sultry from yesterday hasn't had a shower." Kenan wants to switch the conversation.

"All right, sweetheart. You got plenty of rest, yeah."

"Okay, Ma."

Kenan ends the conversation with Windy and takes a deep breath, knowing that she hates Nara. But wait! Where's that little lady?

Kenan rolled his gaze around the room, only to realize that Nara was not in the room. Kenan then watches the clock on his phone screen, already at nine in the morning. Nara must have gotten up and come downstairs. Kenan went and then immediately came down from the bed, he wanted to take a shower because he felt hot because he was sweating yesterday. With a slow step, Kenan stepped into the bathroom.

Earlier this morning Hendra had checked Kenan's body temperature, and the young man did not have a fever anymore, but he slept too well until he was unaware that his father had touched his forehead.

As for Nara, since hearing Kenan's accusations last night, she decided to no longer care about that selfless young man. He was even lazy to get close let alone talk to the boy.

"Until now Bibi still remember the incident," said Bi Ani then chuckled, earlier he told about the hilarious incident that happened to him and his nephew named Tami.

"Surely she was scared back then, huh?" reply Nara also laughs at the funny story of the woman he started to love.

"Yes, he didn't even dare to walk down that road anymore."

Nara laughed even more, but a few seconds later her laughter disappeared when accidentally her black bead caught the figure of Kenan who was down the stairs.

Seeing the change in Nara's face, Bi Ani also followed the woman's gaze and joined in flinching when she saw her employer's son was walking towards them. The atmosphere suddenly tense and silent.

Nara lowered her head and continued picking vegetables as Kenan stood beside Bi Ani and right before her. He did not want to look at the young man.

"Bi, make me breakfast!" pinta Kenan glanced at the bowed Nara.

"What does Kenan want for breakfast?" ask Bi Ani.

"I want the chicken porridge I ate yesterday" said Kenan still glanced at his wife.

Bi Ani suddenly looked at Nara, "But that porridge made Mbak Nara, Mas."

Nara was dumbstruck, she was astonished because Kenan asked for the porridge again. Is that boy still sick?

"As for who makes it, anyway I want the chicken porridge that I ate yesterday! When you're done, get to my room!" pinta Kenan then rushed away from the presence of Nara and Bi Ani.

Nara sighed looking at Kenan's behavior that was always arbitrary.

"Where's this? Ma'am Nara want to make it?" Bi Ani made sure.

"Auntie's the one who made it," broke up Nara.

"But Mas Kenan want chicken porridge yesterday Mbak Nara made, if aunt who makes it will taste different again," complained Bi Ani.

"You want me or your Aunt to make it, it's the same. It makes no difference, really!"

"Yes, Auntie made her porridge first. Ma'am Nara continued to eat his vegetables, yes.

Nara nodded, she had already promised herself that she would not care and take care of Kenan anymore. Nara was offended by the young man's remarks last night, she did not want to be accused of anything else.
