Chapter 26 Logical Notes
This morning Nara was having breakfast with Kenan and Hendra, she was eating in silence, not a word if not asked by her in-laws. Indeed since the porridge matter two days ago, Nara was more silent, she was more and more indifferent to Kenan. Let alone talk, look at the young man he was reluctant even though they passed each other. Kenan is completely invisible to Nara and it really pisses Kenan off.
"Penan, my dear son!" windy suddenly came home.
Everyone was shocked and immediately turned towards the woman.
"Mama? Why go home without saying anything?" ask Hendra who does not know about the plan of return of the wife.
"Mom's going to surprise you" replied Windy who immediately hugged Kenan, "you how are you, honey? Already okay?"
"I'm fine, Ma" said Kenan.
Nara lowered her head and did not want to see the interaction of the mother and child.
"How is your mother?" ask Hendra again.
"It's getting better, Pa. My brother has come home from Russia, and now he's looking after my mom" Windy said.
Hendra was relieved, "Thank God."
Windy broke his arms and sat down beside Kenan, looking at his son with pity, "For sure as long as no one is taking care of you, your Papa must be busy. Aye, right?"
Kenan immediately glanced at Nara who was downcast and looked unconcerned.
"Who said, Ma?" cut Hendra fast, before Kenan answers.
Windy and Kenan turned to look at the middle-aged man.
"As long as Kenan was sick, Nara took care of him. Even Nara made porridge and fed it," continued Hendra with a smile.
Windy's face turned sour and glanced at Nara cynically, "He did that? That's right, Pa! I can't believe it!"
Nara was overwhelmed with annoyance, but she still did not want to care about what Windy said, she still faithfully ate breakfast in front of him.
"If you don't believe me, just ask Kenan!" Hendra.
Windy's gaze turned again to the son, "True, dear?"
Kenan was stunned, but then nodded slowly.
Windy snorted in annoyance, he guessed that Nara had intentionally done all that to take the sympathy of the son.
"Oh yes, dear. You enrolled at Stanford University?" Windy also switched the conversation, he was lazy to talk about Nara.
"So, Ma," replied Kenan.
Hendra frowned in surprise, "Dine wants to go to college there? How did Papa just find out?"
"Yes, Pa. That was Kenan's goal a long time ago. So Papa is not too busy taking care of other people's children, so do not know anything about his own children," Windy quipped as he glanced sharply at Nara who was still sitting quietly, not once has he interrupted or looked at everyone.
"Why not go to college here?"
"Pa, Kenan is our only son, he will be the sole heir to our company and our estate. What's wrong with him studying and studying at a good college?" windy.
"Pa, Mama's friends' children are attending Stanford University, so Mama wants Kenan to go there too."
"This is actually Mama's or Kenan's will, anyway?" ledek Hendra's.
"It's Kenan and Mama's will. Yeah, right, baby?" Windy asks for justification from the son.
Kenan nodded, "Yes, Pa. I want to continue school there."
"Well, Papa listen?" connect Windy.
Hendra let out a sigh of resignation, "Alright, then Kenan will go to college there with Nara."
Kenan and Windy were stunned, as well as Nara who immediately looked at Hendra with a look of surprise.
"Why is this nothing, anyway? Why is he coming too?" windy's protest didn't take it.
"Because Nara and Kenan are husband and wife, so they have to continue together" replied Hendra casually.
"But you can't do that, dong! Kenan wants to study there, not go for a walk! Mama doesn't want him to trouble our son!" murmur Windy.
Kenan only flinch at the debate papa and his mother, he did not dare to argue the decision taken by the father even though he also felt objection.
"Nara went there also wanted to learn, after all he is not a child, he will not trouble Kenan," said Hendra sure.
"Hem, sorry, Pa. I don't want to go there!" reject Nara, she does not want the couple to continue arguing because of her.
Kenan and Hendra spontaneously turned towards Nara.
Hendra frowned in surprise, "Why?"
"Because I want to stay here" replied Nara.
"Let's hear me! He doesn't want to, so let Kenan go alone!" sela Windy's.
"Alright, then Kenan also does not need to go there. He's gonna stay here" breaks Hendra.
Everyone was again astonished to hear the unilateral decision that Hendra had taken.
"Father!" windy snarled annoyed.
"Papa's decision is round!" firmly Hendra.
"Papa is really outrageous! Papa's selfish!" Windy got up and hurried to leave the dining table.
"Mama!" Kenan soon followed his mother.
While Nara and Hendra just look at the departure of the mother and child.
