“What are you here for?”
Although it is undeniable that Bu Ranti was very happy with the arrival of her son, but still she was still upset considering Juna's attitude some time ago that made her sad.
I don't know where Juna knew he was here. He didn't tell anyone where they were going.
“To meet Mom.”
Miss Ranti smiled almost cynically. “But I don't want to meet you.”
“Bu...” Juna was trying to touch his mother's hand. But Bu Ranti avoids by inviting Bu Nita to leave there immediately.
“Bu, Juna agree to Mom's request that time.”
Reflexes of steps Bu Ranti stopped and looked at her son who saw her with a sad and resigned look. Sad because several times made a call on his mother's device, Bu Ranti did not receive the call. Now her mother's phone is inactive.
“Which request do you mean?” Ms. Ranti wanted to make sure, what she was thinking right now was the same as her son meant.
“Better we talk at home, Bu.”
Although still angry, Miss Ranti agreed. There are a lot of workers passing by. There was no way he would debate Juna here let alone the thing they would talk about about household matters.
After giving direction to one of his confidants who will send the garden to the market, Bu Ranti invited Juna, Bu Nita and Aru to go home.
Arriving home, Miss Ranti was quite surprised because Nadia turned out to come too. Remembering Nadia once said she would not come to this village again.
Back when Nadia first came to this village–to be exact after a few weeks of their wedding, the tires of the car they were riding in were stuck in mud and could not move. It was raining very hard then. Inevitably they have to walk through the rain, through the streets that many holes and filled with mud.
“It turns out you came here too,” ketus Bu Ranti passed Nadia who was standing on the porch of the house. Miss Ranti can't pretend to be nice to her daughter-in-law anymore.
“Iya, Mom,” replied Nadia softly.
Ms. Ranti did not reply because she was lazy to talk to the woman who was her own daughter-in-law. Keep walking inside and sit his body on one of the chairs in the living room, the old house of his parents.
“Bu Nita, Aru, you guys are here only, yes, along with me.” Bu Nita and Aru who had intended to go straight to the back immediately undo the intention. It is impossible for them to dispute the employer's request.
While Nadia stared dislikefully at the mother and child. Her in-laws spoke softly to them, while to her was so sniffy. His instincts all along. The presence of Aru and her mother will bring problems in her home life.
“Say, what do you mean come here?” sarkas Bu Ranti again without wanting to see the face of his son or daughter-in-law.
Juna took a breath. As already, if he was provoked by emotions then certainly there will be debate again. Juna was tired of arguing the same thing, which is about how to get offspring.
“I will obey Mom's will to marry again.”
“Really?” Bu Ranti's eyes immediately sparkled beautifully. But the twinkle was only a moment because it saw Nadia's sharp gaze on her son.
Ms. Ranti remembered Nadia's words, if Juna had to marry again then they had to separate first.
“If Nadia does not allow you to remarry, it is better ka—”
“Nadia has agreed, Mom. Yes, ‘kan, Nad?” Juna nudged his wife's hand which looked at him sharply. Though he had warned his wife so as not to behave and act that made his mother suspicious.
“Iya, Mom. I would love for Juna to marry again.”
Miss Ranti knows that Nadia is not willing. But it's okay. Although the word willing to come out with a forced out of Nadia's mouth, it was enough to make Bu Ranti happy.
