Oh Arunika

Oh Arunika
Chapter 15

Arunika said goodbye to his mother after a few minutes ago, he also watched the car driven by Bu Ranti, Juna and his wife and also the woman with glasses who said Bu Ranti was a doctor and his old friend, leave the yard. From the conversation that Aru had heard, he said they would go to the hospital.

“Where do you want to go?” ask Mom wonder.

“You to temen house, Mom. Aru wants to ask about work. Who knows there are job openings.”

Mother's forehead wrinkled. Because for 3 years his daughter worked, Aru never introduced or told him that he had friends. But finally I gave permission too, “Oh, yes already. Be careful on the road. Come home not long. Uh, wait a minute! Take your mask first!”

“Oh yes, forgot.” Arunika who had turned around and prepared to leave looked grim. Even though during the meeting, his Head had warned to continue to use the nose and mouth cover when out of the house.

He was about to go to the room to pick up a mask, but at once his steps stopped because he remembered something. “Bu, does Mom's cough medicine still exist? If it's over then Aru will buy.”

“No need, Aru. Cough Mom is healed.”

The smile on the girl's face grew, “Thank God,” he said as he breathed a sigh of relief.

Aru guided his bike with limp shoulders and also a carefree step through the gate of the mansion owned by Ibu Ranti. The silhouette of twilight that was about to sink was the same as his face, grim. There is no joy there.

“What are you doing?” sapanya was not excited when she approached her mother who was struggling in the kitchen. Her mom's hobby is in the kitchen, she thought.

“What do you think you're doing?” reply Mom without seeing her daughter. The hand that began to wrinkle was better at picking long beans into short ones. Not long after that Mom stood up from her seat, flipping something inside her frying pan.

Aru noticed that there were many types of food on the table that would be cooked.

“There are guests who will eat here, Mom?” aru asked as she continued what Mother had done earlier, cutting long beans. But first he washed his hands after reproving Mother.

Aru glanced at her mother's mobile phone that was on the table, not far from the reach of her eyes. The mobile phone that Ms. Ranti gave when they moved into the house. He said to make it easy to contact Mom.

Arunika smiled miris. Remember the smart phone that was stolen and sold. If the phone was still there, he would not have to endure the pain for hours because it occupied the saddle of a bicycle that was not worth using. He does not need to spend a lot of time out there, in order to ask people he knows about job vacancies.

Mom sat down on the chair next to Aru. He was seen wiping the sweat that fell from the temple overcame with small coughs. Then allow the mask to cover the nose and mouth properly.

“Cough Mom hasn't healed yet?” Arunika looked at her mother's face carefully. Although it looks only eyeballs and eyebrows, Aru feels his mother's condition is not good.

“Tadi is no longer. I don't know why it's relapsing again. Probably because of the smoke inhalation of the food you cook.” Mother coughed again making her daughter's forehead wrinkled.

“Let Aru alone prepare the ingredients, Bu,” said Aru when his mother was about to take one tempe board. “Mother sit only. Let Aru do all this and cook it. I just tell Aru what to cook.”

“Iya. But before 7 o'clock should be done.”

Aru nodded. She was sure her mother was exhausted. Seen from Mother who occasionally wiped the sweat on her forehead. I don't know what job his mother did when he left. He regretted leaving for too long.

Not long after, Mom shifted the chair she was sitting on to the back and got up.

“Where are you going?” ask Aru.

“You raised chicken meat in the frying pan. It's already cooked.”

“Mother sit only. Let Aru do the.” Aru stood up and lifted the side dish that Mother said was ripe.

When Mom was about to sit back down, she felt her chest tight. Mother groaned silently while holding her chest which was like being squeezed by a boulder. But alas, Aru did not know his mother who was holding pain. He was busy putting the remaining pieces of chicken into the frying pan.
