Chapter 18

Arunika between conscious and not hearing the voice of someone coughing. Although the coughing sound was enough to disturb his deep sleep, his eyelids were still reluctant to open.

The longer the cough sound is heard the louder and the tempo is also longer, making anyone who hears it will feel pain in the throat.

Arunika moves her head to find a comfortable position, as if she did so then the sound of coughing will be lost from hearing.

And the sound of glass hitting the floor made his eyelids open perfectly, because the sound of broken glass was accompanied by a voice that screamed in pain.

Arunika who is not fully aware of looking for where the commotion came from. The first thing he saw was the side of the bed next to him where his mother slept. Blank. He didn't see Mom there.

The sound of complaining on the floor under the bed, made Aru quickly remove the blanket covering his lower body. Soon he jumped to check on the person on the floor, who he believed was his mother because the noise was the voice of Bu Nita.

“Mother!” aru screeched when he found his mother half face down on the floor, trying to get up. Aru also saw there was a broken glass that seemed to be a broken glass mixed with water.

The girl immediately helped her mother to sit on the edge of the bed.

“Why Mom can be in lan–” Her speech stopped. Aru's eyeball immediately widened when he found a red splash on the floor that he believed was blood, where his mother had bowed.

Aru drew her gaze to meet Mother. And his two eyes bought wider and saw there was blood pouring from between the fingers of the hand of Mother, which is currently used to cover the mouth.

“Da-blood? I-Mother is bleeding!” panicked shouting.

“Aru...” Withered eyes and Mother's weak voice made Aru's worries even more.

“Mother.” With his trembling hands, Aru tried to get rid of Mom's hand from her mouth. Tears can't be shed anymore.

But instead of releasing, Mother actually increasingly tighten her palms on the mouth assisted with other hands. Mother is reluctant to show the one she is currently covering to Aru.

“Bu.”

“Cheal how, Mom. My mouth is bleeding. Mom needs to see doctor.” The panicked aura grew sobbing. Her mother did not cough anymore and she was fine. Nothing suspicious when they go to sleep.

Mom coughed again and it sounded so painful in the ears. Blood dripping more and more from between Mother's fingers makes Aru hysterical.

“Ibuuuu!”

Mother's one hand moved slowly like a signal so that Aru did not have to touch her hand that covered her mouth.

“Mother is okay. Later, I will also recover if I drink. Now please get Mom some water to drink.” Mother's voice sounded disjointed and quietly similar murmurs were barely heard by Aru.

Instead of immediately going to pick up what was asked by Mother, Aru with her trembling body still fixated on the spot, seeing the blood dripping to wet the negligence worn by her mother. Who is not shocked to see his own mother bleeding from his mouth.

She wanted to hug Mom, but her hand movements and body gestures forbade her to do that.

“Aru–”

Not wanting his mother's energy to run out just to repeat the same request, Aru rushed to the kitchen which was not far from their room. If indeed by drinking water the condition of the mother will gradually recover, it does not matter not leave Mom for a while to take it.

Aru brought a glass of water with trembling hands. When they arrived at the doorway of their room, the glass filled with water slid to hit the floor and broke.

“Mother...!”

The sound of Aru's screams filled the entire room. His mother's body was lying on the floor like that and this time there was no movement at all. Aru turned around Mom's frail body. Both of Mom's eyelids were closed and her mouth was covered in blood.
